Jesus Appearing?

From killertrumpet

In case we have forgotten-

Todd Bentley reading prophecy given by Wendy Alec (GodTv) in which Jesus says He will come the following night. He never showed up.

Todd yells at God and calls for angels, cheered on by a crowd in the frenzy of demonic deception. They probably showed.

This will probably be my last post on Todd Bentley, at least for now. I put up as much information as I could to warn against the fact that he is getting ready for a return. The word used by him, Rick Joyner and Bill Johnson is “restoration”.  That is a scary notion given the fact that Todd has not changed. The only thing new about him is his wife and his location. He has been primed for this moment and once he gets the podium back more will be led astray and others will continue into deeper deception. I hope and pray you are not one of them.

  1. I don’t know how anybody can sit and listen to idiotic, talk I listened to not even half. It is unbeivable anyone can follow this. But, Jesus did predict a time this would happen. And to think we are wittnessing all of these predictions to-day is exciting and scarry. Lord come quickly.

    • Sandra, that was a prophetic word from Wendy Alec, co-owner of Godtv, formerly known as the Unknown Prophet, author of the book by the same name and of course the newer book series, Chronicle of the Brothers, a false compilation of the relationship existing between Lucifer, Michael and Gabriel, focused on the fall of Lucifer. As false and demonic as anything could be.

I believe it was explained that although “jesus” said he would appear, he really didn’t mean in person. More bad back-peddling. And of course, no one truly prophetic in that group, nor anyone who has even a teeny bit of knowledge concerning the truth of the return of Jesus stood up to say WRONG!!!

  3. You are RIGHT! nobody stood up and said wrong. Wow. It never crossed my mind that part of it until you pointed it out. Just like a bunch of sheeps following the wrong leader. So therefore, proves how many read the Bible themselves? Cause if they did they wouldn’t have been there in the first place. I still mantain there are too many books on the shelves that christian don’t know what they are reading. One has to be sooooo careful what they are reading and of course if it not saying what the bible is saying you are in trouble. ( Understand what I’m saying)

    • Hi Sandra. Yes, there are too many books being read and too many teachers who do not follow after the Lord. It is baffling with so many people warning those who have gone off from the true practices of Christianity that they still refuse to listen.

  5. You can download the mp3 of the Sept 10 webinar from his site. I don’t care to listen.
Love that line from his blog referring to how there is so much for him and Joyner to share about ‘Todd and the church,’ as if he is so pivotal to the church of Jesus Christ.

    • Thanks Ruthsongs. I’ve been going there but must of have missed it unless he just put it up. Oh, I will have a hard time with it too. He IS pivotal, just not to the real church.

Funny, I expected a bigger “tada”, an article, a video, but not something so hidden away which explains why I couldn’t find it.

Pray for the world – he is expecting to continue – yes – continue the “revival” all over the world. He has a book coming out about Lakeland full of testimonies of miracles and people who were healed, raised from the dead. Yes, he believes that Lakeland was of God. He and Joyner put together a “doctrine” on marriage, divorce, etc., and so expect for that to come out soon. (I don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone claim they wrote a doctrine like that.)

The man is a blow hard – he talks and talks and talks and he is so full of himself, how can anyone stand to hear it? Almost everything he says is a contradiction and the man uses the bible to support what he is saying and takes it out of context just like always. I could only listen for a while and I can tell nothing has changed with Todd on the ministry end. He still believes his false teachings and his poor ministry practices. He still believes his false spirit is the Holy One. He’s getting money from others to build his ministry again. And like I said before, he’s having a good old time playing – going out, working out, eating and kickin back, and I believe his words were “enjoying my bride” – GAG – on every one else’s dime.

Even if the man has repented, he has not changed. His teaching will continue to show that, which disqualifies him to minister publicly. Rick Joyner has lots of connections and with him behind this who knows how big it can get. Please pray that people will get their eyes open and expose him for what he is! Todd is not about Christ. Todd is about Todd.

Whew. I’m going to read my bible now. 🙂

  6. I wish to clear something up regarding this matter of Wendy Alec prophesying a visitation of Jesus. Wendy did indeed say that Jesus would be visiting the meeting, and if you watch that night’s meeting there is a moment where Roy Fields says “I see Jesus” on stage.

I realise sceptics among you will say he was simply a party to some kind of conspiracy to “prove” Wendy’s prophecy, but I for one believe he did see Jesus. At any rate, who am I, or any of us, to say he did not? There is Biblical precedent for personal appearances of Jesus, and throughout history he has appeared to many people.

    • It’s not a matter of skepticism, but a matter of truth, which they all lack severely. I’ve had visions of Jesus too, but given the environment of false teaching and prophecy that I was involved with at the time I doubt whether it was really Him or the one who masquerades as an angel of light. I think Wendy’s prophecy is that all would see him, not just the worship leader.

Jesus will come again in the clouds and every eye will see Him. There will be no mistake and no impostor. Any claim that He will appear otherwise should be weighed by the words of scripture. It is the only way to stay out of deceit.

Read the bible. Do the research for yourself and leave these nuts behind.

    • To clarify regarding the prophecy and the next coming of Jesus Christ – this is what the word of God says and we should cling to that rather than the word of a person that states otherwise. Be sober minded in your thinking!

Acts 1:11b – This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.

      Revelation 1:7-8

7 Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.
8 “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,”[b] says the Lord,[c] “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”

    • 2Cor 5:16 Therefore from now on know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet from now on know we him no more.

In this present age it makes no difference, for a person who is a new creation in Christ, whether they see a vision of Jesus or not, bcos He lives in them and they see Him by faith all the time and hear His voice.

We don’t know Him by visions. Visions prove nothing concerning the truth in Jesus. Like, if someone told me they saw a vision of Jesus standing beside me, i would say, Of course! Actually, He lives inside me, which is even better. Why are you surprised about that? Maybe cos knowing Jesus is not a reality to such a person?

But what i just said means nothing to those who are deceived.
