Bob Jones The Coming Years

Sharnael Wolverton and Bob Jones and his prophetic insight from the 1950′s to 2040. (video follows)

Bob Jones claims God showed him these things about the past church and how it would be in the years to come.  Notice the transformation in increments over a period of time – how the church will attain the highest level of spirituality eventually. This has nothing to do with the true power of Christ and how He works in the lives and hearts of those who call Him Lord.

The 1950′s revealed the power of God

The 1960′s revealed the Spirit of God

The 1970′s revealed the Word of God, inspired teachers with new understanding

The 1980′s revealed the prophets of God (probably refers to the false Kansas City Prophets)

The 1990′s revealed the government of God

The 2000′s revealed the glory of God through gold flakes, gold teeth, etc.

The 2010′s  will reveal the faith OF God, different from faith IN God as He will be in the spoken word.

The 2020′s will reveal the rest of God and He will rest in us.

The 2030′s will reveal the family of God, a real unity

The 2040′s the coming forth of the kingdom of sons of God who will possess a likeness of the Son of God with power over death, the weather, everything. There will come a season when death will have no part, a generation that will not know death, they will not be afraid. If their life is taken they will have the power to resurrect it.

Doesn’t this prophecy make you wonder what in the world Christians have been doing all the years prior to this time frame? I guess they just had it all wrong and God was not moving or revealing the true truth until the 50′s.

Where is any of this in the bible? Manifest Sons of God at it’s peak!  FALSE FALSE FALSE Only God has the power over life and death. If you research any of those names Bob gives, Allen, Coe, Branham you will find they were not true to the Lord and God would never endorse those who led others astray.  In fact, I’m not so sure that God would even call out the names of men because it it NEVER about us, it is always about HIM – JESUS!

Remember, Bob Jones one of the original Kansas City Prophets and is known as a seer prophet, whose prophetic gift and supernatural abilities and experiences far surpass all others. He has a profound influence over many throughout the past, which continues today without question – a few are Patricia King, Todd Bentley, Bill Johnson, Rick Joyner, Mike Bickle, those who are building kingdoms…

Genesis 3:4-5 Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. 5 “For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.

Thus Bob Jones is a false prophet!

Acts 1:9-11 Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received him out of their sight. 10 And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, 11 who also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner. See also Luke 25:51, John 20:12

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.

There are many warnings in the new testament against false prophets and teachers who bring a different gospel, a different Jesus. These will be judged for their lies and we are to have nothing to do with them! See 2 Peter 2, 2 Timothy 4:3-5, 2 Timothy 2:15-18, 2 Timothy 3:1-7, 2 John 8-11, 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4.

Galatians 1:8-9 But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. 9 As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed.

A Gathering at the Den

I guess we can all relax now as “THE Prophet” has declared that God told him in a prophetic word a curse will be broken in the White House and over America. Whew. I’m glad that’s done, aren’t you? Now we can all go back to enjoying our lives with no worries over America, it’s future and it’s people.  We’re all safe from harm, the curse will be broken – tonight!

How fitting a date for such a false prophet – Halloween – a time of gathering and appeasing the dead.

Haven’t we heard this same drivel before?

My bible says Jesus broke the curse, not some New Age prophet disguised as a man of God. Until people come to repentance – individually – the curse of sin will live on and unfortunately our country’s condition will worsen and worsen. That isn’t the “word” we want to hear, but it is the truth.

Isn’t a den a place where animals live? Well, if you’re real quick you can join him in his.  And remember if you support him financially in the name of a prophet soothsayer, you will be given a prophet’s soothsayer’s reward.

Lift Up Your Eyes

Found this at Apprising – Lift Up Your Eyes (for the entire article)

O how great and wonderful is our loving Lord, Who is giving us the chance in this generation, to be “made perfect in [our] weakness.” So, rather than being discouraged and exasperated as this apostasy grows, those of us who hear His Voice should instead “glory in” these spiritual “infirmities,” in order “that the power of Christ may rest upon [us].” So, can you see it now? The LORD God Almighty is still sovereign and these times we now live in have come about that we might be driven to His Word, and driven to our knees, in order that we as the Body of Christ—along with the Psalmist might:

lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: He that keepeth thee will not slumber. (Psalm 121:1-3, KJV)

Elijah Is Fed

I love this and took it off a friend’s blog  – Now Through A Glass Darkly

Elijah Is Fed

Does only splendid light hide You? This
dreadful body of death covers as well;
such heaviness since I said, “I, only I, am left,
who follow you wholly!” Such darkness
from self-martyrdom and man-fearing!
Now I am abandoned, forsaken,
facing fierce wickedness, alone.
Except for traitor memory that
dredges up my Jezebels– again!
And do I forget that You are

not in fire, not in wind, not in tremors?
No, only in this delicious stillness
that rescues a humbled man;
So I fall into the splendor
of the Father; in His embrace
exchange impoverishment for
promised rest, a prophet’s mantle
for nourishment of bread.
Another is anointed to wonders;
I am taken up by a Voice that feeds.

Contemplative Connects to Calvary Chapel

Article From Lighthouse Trails

From me -If you know anyone involved with Calvary Chapel, you may want to forward this information their way.I know many cringed when Greg Laurie, Chuck Smith and Rick Warren were all together at Laurie’s Harvest Crusade this past summer.

“Soul at Rest” Women’s Conference Will Connect Women with Contemplative Advocate
For those who wonder if contemplative spirituality is still making strong inroads into the evangelical Christian church, below is an indicator that this mystical spirituality is moving full speed ahead. And for most Christian leaders, there are no questions asked.

North Coast Calvary Chapel: Women’s Conference Soul at Rest (November 6th-8th) will be featuring contemplative author Tricia McCary Rhodes as the speaker of the conference. Rhodes has been a contemplative advocate for many years. From Rhodes’ book, The Soul at Rest: A Journey into Contemplative Prayer, she states:

Take deep breaths, concentrating on relaxing your body. Establish a slow, rhythmic pattern. Breathe in God’s peace, and breathe out your stresses, distractions, and fears. Breathe in God’s love, forgiveness, and compassion, and breathe out your sins, failures, and frustrations. Make every effort to “stop the flow of talking going on within you–to slow it down until it comes to a halt.” (p. 28)

Ray Yungen reveals in his book A Time of Departing that Rhodes is quoting mystic Morton Kelsey in the above passage. Kelsey says: “You can find most of the New Age practices in the depth of Christianity. I believe that the Holy One [God] lives in every soul.”1 Of Rhodes, Yungen also makes note:

Rhodes shows her affinity to contemplative prayer when she states: “Contemplative Prayer penetrates our heart of hearts, probing the deepest rooms of our interior soul. It leaves no stone unturned, no darkness unlit…. It is wonderful and painful and through it He changes us into His likeness.” Rhodes encourages readers to use the Jesus Prayer in which the name of Jesus is focused on and repeated.* She also says what so many other contemplatives have said in their discontent with simple faith and their disillusionment with the power of the Word of God: “Reading, studying or memorizing God’s Word will only take us so far in our quest for spiritual growth.” … [C]ontemplatives teach that faith in Christ and dependence on His Word is just not enough–we need a trance-like mystical experience as well.2

A comment by me – This statement tells the driving force behind this movement as well as the one behind charismania.  The need for something more stemmed from discontentment in the practice of our own faith combined with methods not biblically taught, while still maintaining a Christian facade, results in the creation of a new religion and a god of their understanding. God is no longer to be revered, honored and feared, but changed into nothing more than a genie or a cheap experience with the expectation that he give to all who ask, fulfilling earthly desires and needs of the flesh. These mystical experiences are not of our God. They are demonic and it does not matter how many times a person repeats the name of Jesus. Pride comes before the fall.

Rhodes’ more recent book, Sacred Chaos: Spiritual Disciplines for the Life You Have carries a foreword by contemplative advocate Gary Thomas. Interestingly, but not surprisingly because of his continued promotion of contemplative, both Thomas and Rhodes have been promoted by Rick Warren.

Rhodes first book was written in 1998, but if her new book, Sacred Chaos is any indication, she has not ventured away from contemplative beliefs in the least. On the contrary. In this 2008 book, she continues to promote contemplative practices such as lectio divina and the Jesus prayer as well as contemplative figures like Henri Nouwen, Madame Guyon, Bernard of Clairvaux (who states: God is the stone in the stones and the tree in the trees(3)), Catherine of Siena. In one chapter, she favorably quotes panentheist Thomas Kelly when he states that “deep within us all” (all humans he means), there is a “Divine Center” (p. 76). Another whom she quotes in the book is Kallistos Ware (author of Disciplines for the Inner Life) (p. 20). You can listen to this YouTube video of Ware and hear his contemplative propensities where he discusses the “prayer of the heart.” One of the people Ware talks about in the video is Theophan the Recluse, another mystic. Rhodes book is filled with quotes and references to numerous other mystic proponents.

In Rhodes book, Sacred Chaos, she instructs on and references the value in repeating prayer words over and over, even suggesting that the speed at which the repeating of words takes place can be altered (faster or slower) (p. 92).

If Rhodes is saying (as we believe she is) that this is the way to true intimacy with God, then there is little doubt that she will introduce this to these Calvary Chapel women as something beneficial and useful in their spiritual lives. These unsuspecting Calvary Chapel women should be forewarned that there is another side to this issue, one worth examining carefully.

It is important to understand that the “fruit” of contemplative spirituality is ultimately interspirituality (all paths lead to God). In time, the spiritual outlook of those who practice these mystical prayer methods changes and leads to a perception that is common to eastern religions such as Buddhism and Hinduism (both which negate the Gospel of Jesus Christ). This is not an unfounded assertion. Two of the major icons of the contemplative prayer movement exemplify this. Thomas Merton proudly exclaimed that he was “deeply impregnated with Sufism” (Muslim mysticism),4 and Henri Nouwen would listen to tapes on the Chakras (the basis for Hinduism) when he was exercising.5 And countless other examples could be given. This change in spiritual outlook happens because at the heart of mysticism is the occult, and rather than the contemplative practitioner hearing God in these altered states of silence as they are told by people like Tricia Rhodes, in actuality, they are entering into demonic realms. This repeating of words and phrases is more like practicing trance work than it is practicing God’s presence.

Sadly, North Coast’s pastors are recommending books by contemplative/emerging figures such as Brennan Manning, Richard Foster, Dallas Willard, John Ortberg, and Donald Miller (Blue Like Jazz). But do not think that North Coast Calvary Chapel is the exception. No. Unfortunately, the majority of churches in most communities today are going in this same direction. Churches from nearly every denomination have jumped on board–Nazarene, Southern Baptist, Wesleyan, Mennonite, Assemblies of God to name a few. While there are still churches within these groups that refuse to go down this mystical path, with major influential leaders like Rick Warren and Bill Hybels doing a substantial amount of promoting of contemplative/emerging spirituality, is it any wonder such inroads have taken place?

The Bible tells us that God has given to the believer everything he or she needs to walk with God and live according to His will through faith by His grace. He has given us His Word and His Holy Spirit and the promise of redemption through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. It is in this that believers must stand, not on the “religion” of the world and of God’s adversary.

According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. II Peter 1:3-4

*Technically, the Jesus Prayer is: Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner, but it is often shortened to just the word Jesus.

Beware Man’s Devises

My warning to be careful in what you open yourself up to is a very valid one. And I direct this to the charismatic group as well as the contemplative/emergent one, and any group that will teach “do this” to “experience God”. It is irrelevant that we live in a post modern society or that we have been given so-called “prophetic” words that God is “doing a new thing”, or that we are in some particular “season”.

Titus 1:16 They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him being abominable, disobedient and disqualified for every good work.

Our God in unchanging. In all times and seasons He remains the same. We are told to be ready to preach the gospel in season and out and to be watchful in all things – 2 Timothy4:2, 5.

When man devises a way to gain knowledge or have an experience, to attain a level of spirituality or wisdom, etc.  whatever “tag” line is used it is very possible and even probable that a visitation will occur. But make no mistake about this. God is not controlled by man’s devises.  He has already taught us how to experience Him, worship Him and pray to Him in His word.  We have been given all that we need as we are complete in Christ. But if we continue in following man’s devises chances are the visitation, all that power, all that “knowing”, that inner voice is not God at all, but a demon, or as some call a spirit guide. And yes, a borne again Christian can have one!

Colossians 2:8-10  Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ. 9 For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; 10 and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.

When we agree with the false teaching and engage in false practices we are overcome and taken into bondage.

2 Peter 2:19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are slaves of corruption; for by whom a person is overcome, by him also he is brought into bondage.

I believe it is a path that will lead to a loss of salvation because in following after these teachings and practices we are denying Christ just as surely as we would to deny him with our words. The more I think on this the more clearly I see it.

Whatever the design of worship or meditation or prayer for experiencing God we choose should cause us to love Him more, His people more and His word. It should drive us to know more of Him through His word and His people. It should drive us to live righteous, holy lives, convicting us of our own sin.

2Timothy 3:16-17  All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

If instead we find ourselves driven to the next experience, visitation, that source of power, or inner voice, we have certainly disconnected from Christ. We can no longer call ourselves His followers or disciples because we no longer follow Him.  Our only hope is to repent, ask for forgiveness and to be cleansed and set free, taking authority over the demon, casting him away. And then we must leave whatever institution and teacher that brought us to the place of apostasy. That is the only hope in restoration for regaining salvation. Otherwise we are lost eternally.

Beware man’s devises.

Always Reaching, Never Finding

After I left the healing room ministry I began to do additional research into what they believed and taught others. It’s pretty much the same Word of Faith garbage repacked and sold by Cal Pierce, International Association of Healing Rooms out of Spokane WA.

I did quite a bit of research using my bible and a concordance – the resources I already had in my home. I didn’t have to go out an buy an expensive dvd or cd set or take a bunch of courses or pay hundreds of dollars to see the truth the way I did to see the lie. Imagine. Freely you have received, freely give. (Who said that?)

So after my research I put all of the information together along with a personal explanation and sent it off to all the members of the healing room, past and present.  None of them left the ministry, and only a couple asked questions. But, to my knowledge not one of them took to heart the truth of the scripture against the lie of the so called ministry. They continue to follow their heralded “famous one” who leads them to the path of apostasy who teaches them if a person is not healed there is a reason why and usually the problem is within.

Sadly, I see the ministry I left and those I warned plan to continue with teaching their “How To’s” this coming weekend. And all for a bargain price of $20! After all, they have the secret formula for healing! So, I wonder why they are sick? Why they need breathing machines to sleep at night, why they take medication or end up in the ER, why do they wear glasses and why are they overweight? Why do they go through surgeries and medical procedures and suffer bad effects from the medications? Why do their bones break or muscles pull? Why does the food they eat disagree with them?  Why do they succumb to seasonal viruses or request that those who are sick keep away from them? Why? Are they not all healed? NO. – -NO NO NO!!

Then how can they possibly continue on with such a mindless charade of lies that physical healing is in the atonement and it is part of a believer’s heritage to live disease free? Can someone else please tell them that we, even if we are saved, are still fallen, subject to sickness and disease?  If you have ever known someone who is chronically ill you will see from them that the miraculous is not so much in a person’s healing, but in they way they effect others while they are sick. It is in their testimony that they still stand and worship God and believe in Him and trust in Him despite the illness!  It is because they have purposed in their heart “Thy will be done.” These are the true faithful ones. So they do not have a need to go running around from place to place, in a crazed frenzy seeking out that healing, going from church to conference in cars, trains and airplanes spending their very last nickel to “get some healing” or “experience God’s tangible presence in this place with a special anointing” or visit that special person who is famed to “have the anointing on him/her, or who moves in the gift of…“. Because they have found it is NOT all about “me”.

But this is the topic they will be teaching on this weekend, How to Heal Biblically, or healing the way Jesus did. Listen, I was with them for almost 3 years and I only saw one person get healed during that time. Only one! Has anyone posed the question that if it were really God’s will to heal then why don’t the people heal? Crazy.

We know Jesus laid hands on the sick and they were healed instantly. We know He told his disciples to heal the sick and they did. We also know we do not see that same amount of healing today. We don’t know why. But, there are plenty of ministries like this one that will make you believe they have the answer to that question and they are happy to teach them to you. Believe me, these so called “answers” are not found in the bible.  See my writing Are All Healed.

They will also teach that there are such things as generational sins or curses, this is “sins of the father” that are passed from one generation to the next. This is old testament, and not true of a believer. Repentance brings forgiveness and we are not held responsible for another person’s choices. Jesus took the curse for us on the cross. All of them. Galatians 3:13  See my article on Generational Curses.

While it may be true there were special places of worship and of God’s visitation in the old testament, it is not the norm for a new testament believer. We are given the indwelling of the Holy Spirit as part of the new covenant, which old testament believers did not have. There is no need to visit a place of healing or a faith healer.  When we are taught otherwise we are being taken back to the old covenant and in doing told to ignore or forget the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ.  And when we believe these lies we are following after another gospel and have perverted the faith. Consider how many of these deceived and false teachers refer to the old testament rather than the new.  They are taking Jesus out, just like unbelievers. It is ok to believe in God, just not His one and only Son.

These healing room ministries are all about the person – the healing, the gifting, the anointing, the authority. Yes, Jesus is in there somewhere, but He is not the head because it’s only His name that is used.  If He were the head there would not be such an emphasis on the person. And in this environment where there is supposed gifts like wisdom, teaching, prophecy, revelation, dreams and visions and gifts of intercession, there is also something called jealousy.  Yes! Looking at others wanting what they have, coveting, not being content in their own gift. But such a thing  called- contentment – is not the way of satan, who himself claimed to Eve that she could could be like God! Never content, always wanting more, wanting even demanding through crazy decrees and proclamations to speak things that are not as though they were forgetting this refers to God, not man! Going after what is out of their human reach or design to have, to know or to understand – out of God’s perfect will. Is this not the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life warned about in (1 John 2:16)?

Always reaching, never finding.

2 Corinthians 11:3-4  3 But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.  4 For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted–you may well put up with it!

more pentecostal than the pentecostals: a testimony

The following came as a comment under one of my articles – a trip in charismania.  There are so many similarities in our experiences. Again, another eye witness to the false prophetic, healing, charismatic, etc. Since I put this up I have noticed some misunderstanding about this testimony so I want to clarify for future or repeat readers. This is not a crack against Pentecostals. Nor is the author taking a stand against practices taught in the bible for prayer, forgiveness, sin, intercession, healing, etc. She is speaking from 35 years spent in the false and excesses of those teachings, which I refer to as charismania.  Following the article is a great discussion that I had with someone who came upon this article. It was an opportunity that I had to explain the differences and hash it out a little more.  If time permits, you may want to have a look at our discussion in the comments section.

mk

I love to see people coming out and not going in…..to all this deception and craziness. For me it was 35 years! More Pentecostal than the Pentecostals! I ‘ministered’ in many areas and travelled the world….until I began to cry out for God to show me His truth through the Holy Spirit.

There were too many strange and bizarre happenings based on experience that didn’t line up with the Word of God. Satan and his demons always made sure all my expectations were fulfilled in the areas of feeling warm and fuzzy and causing supernatural things to happen. After all the Bible describes him as an angel of light….that makes it difficult to tell the difference between truth and deception….that is of course if one is not measuring everything by the Word.

I worked in the area of ‘breaking generational curses’….’setting people free from freemasonry, cults, sickness etc’ I was recognised as a’prophet’ and a lot of the ’stuff’ I forecast was totally true……(BUT coming from demonic powers). I ‘delivered’ people from demons and took them back in their memory so they could be healed by ‘jesus’.
I could go on and on but there is no need and the only reason I share this much is to try and help others who are deceived like me. Now, after having studied the Word, like I should have done in the first place instead of looking for experiences and listening to men, I know without a doubt….I was operating under demonic guidance and was nothing but a clairvoyant and deceived person. There are no generational curses, we cant use excuses for our behaviour and need to call it sin and repent…there are however consequences for making ungodly choices but Jesus became that curse for us (and anyway it was God who ordained curses and blessings for a certain time and generation in the old Testament) when He died on the cross.

We cannot ’stand in the gap’ as it were and repent on behalf of our country or another person….only that person can repent for his own sins. We cannot ‘bind’ satan or demons..that is taken from twisted scripture. The only time satan is bound is in Revelation by an angel and thrown into the pit. You cannot ‘break the power of freemasonry’ over someone….you do not have that power! Reading through screeds of renunciation papers will not set anyone free! The only way they can be freed is by God in His sovereign grace giving them the gift of repentance….that’s right, we even have to rely on Him for that!

We can’t ‘heal’ people from memories in their past…..the jesus who appears to comfort is a counterfeit and no where in scripture does it say we are to try and do that. Paul says…this one thing I do…..FORGETTING what lies behind, I press on, toward the goal. We are to lay our burdens down ….not go searching deep within our souls for past hurts and wounds. We are not to seek self satisfaction or to try and love ourselves…(that all based on man and psychology) We already love ourselves…too much….. but we are to take up our cross daily and follow Christ.
We are not to use some cultish babble in our prayers to God, Paul was chastising the Corinthian church for going back to their pagan ways and speaking in ecstatic tongues so they could have a mind altering experience. The Mormons and different cults and religions do this today….why oh why would we want to do this and waste hours in deception thinking we are talking to God when Jesus showed us plainly how we are to pray. “Our Father who art in Heaven”

Oh there is so much more….the totally plain and simple reason for all that happened during that soooo special time in history was to prove Jesus was the Messiah come to earth as had already been foretold many years ago………and the miracles for the Jews, but they still didn’t believe, so the Gentiles were grafted in.

To all those who have ‘come out’ I say “Praise God” but make sure you study the Word and grow in the ways of God. To those of you who are searching, can I please say…..don’t hang around any longer, get yourself out of that Pentecostal environment as fast as you can. We are living in a time like never before and we have been warned so many times that this was going to happen. The worst part is people don’t want the truth, they are listening to seducing spirits.

Remember everything we need to live this life in a Godly way is in His Word. He has spoken through it and doesn’t need messed up men and women to add to His Word. It is finished! All we need for life and Godliness is there.

Seven Mountains

The background image for Global Harvest Ministries under C. Peter Wagner, Doris Wagner and Chuck Pierce. The image is the “seven mountains” representing the seven major areas of influence in society: religion, family, education, government, media, entertainment, and business shown symbolically at the foot of the mountain of what I guess they must consider to be Mt. Sinai.

This signifies what they consider to be their call  – to take the influence, power and authority of their “god” into all areas of society, transforming every person into a Utopian society. This will either bring the second coming of Jesus, since He cannot return until we shape up and get it done, or some teach the believer will actually embody Christ and there will not even be a second coming. I have found this same teachings on the seven mountains from Cal Pierce, International Association of Healing Rooms and from Bill Johnson, Bethel.

If you listen to the prophet, Chuck Pierce, who many follow to the letter, you will not hear a mention of Jesus Christ or of the gospel. It is all about the battle, the land, the fire, the sound, a new season or a new beginning, weird symbolism (just look at the stuff on their stages, or “altars”), and numerology. He really likes the numbers on the Hebrew calendar and gets his symbolism for the year according to its numbers. Some attribute his stuff to Kabballah, which is a mystical form of Judaism.

Below are a couple of videos taken from his website. I have listened to him for a few years. In the beginning I could not understand him, and attributed that to his great wisdom. He had it, I did not. But I have listened and watched him off and on this past year as I’ve done the research. His messages or what he calls “prophesies” are becoming more strange all the time. Is no one testing this man?

Lots of fire. They like it, their god likes it. A five year old could make the connection why exactly!

I don’t think they are even listening to this man spew his weirdness.  They are too enthralled or blessed that their god would grant them the opportunity to be in such a gathering before the great one.

See how they raise their hands in worship or in agreement?  Why?  This is really a bad idea, really.

d sheets host presence

This image is taken from an older Dutch Sheets Ministries web page in which he called, or as he tells it, “god” called for his congregation to stop preaching and only “host his presence” for a 90 day period. If you google the phrase “hosting his presence”  you will find quite a few ministries or churches who jumped on this bandwagon in one form or another. So, no gospel, just worship, worship, worship. I thought the Holy Spirit indwelled in the believer. Why would we need to host him? But, here again, is that “tangible presence” so coveted. Dutch is also associated with the Wagners  Chuck Pierce and Cindy Jacobs.

Cindy Jacobs of Generals International is all about society transformation as her tag line on her website states “Achieving Societal Transformation Through Intercession and the Prophetic”. She is very much into intercession and words of what she calls prophecy. It is not about the individual coming to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ through the word of God, but the transformation of nations through the false prophetic word of a woman. She is much into the battle literally, the war, taking the gates, standing off the enemy – and – empowering women through her yearly Deborah Company, which is a gathering of elitist women as it is by invitation only. Several years ago I was one of the intercessors involved in her 40 Days of Prayer and Fasting during which I picked up quite a bit of false teaching and impartation. It was where I first heard of the “seer” gift and was told I could have it if I wanted it, just ask. I did. I got what I asked for. Beware people.

These people – C Peter Wagner, Chuck Pierce, Dutch Sheets and Cindy Jacobs form what is known as the NAR (New Apostolic Reformation) and there are many who follow along with them. There is much more to their ministries and their deceptive unbiblical practices than I have written here. This is known as Dominion or Kingdom Now as they believe they are taking the dominion over the world to bring the kingdom.

The Expansion Mandate

Oh, the cunning Bill Johnson. There is just something about this man’s demeanor that is quite different from all the rest. He is always so very “laid back” and comfortable.  Here, he too is building a kingdom. Look closely and you can see the outlines of some very strange buildings. Hmm, looks a little like the Arabian Knights to me along with London, America or at least the symbol of America.  And if you look just below the title – Expansion Mandate, you will see the words Hosting His Presence. Below, the  caption – “All He is looking for is people who will rise to the Mandate and say, ‘We will serve the nations we will pour ourselves out for a generation we will never see’ “. So, who is the “He” of this “Mandate” whose presence needs to be hosted?  Not our God, not our Savior Jesus as we are not called to serve the “nations” but to serve God.

He claims that so many are coming from all over the world that there is need for a new sanctuary. I have no doubt. I have seen first hand the force this man has over the masses. The danger of elitism and following the ways of man. Does anyone in Bethel own a bible?

The last I checked he was on the board of the International Association of Healing Rooms which connects him with Cal Pierce and the lie that all saved are healed, the saved should not be sick, etc.  And of course he is one of the three men responsible for the “restoration” of Todd Bentley.

A year and a half ago, I was involved in a healing room ministry in which I became the “intercessor” and later, the Associate Director. It was in my first months I received confirmation of my request to “god” to be a seer.  So, it was just about a year and a half ago I participated in a training which we entitled “Releasing Healings and Miracles Through the Power of  – WHAT – YES – His Presence.  See, on this blog if I snitch on other bad ministries I have to snitch on myself too. I was one of them. I am out now.

Strange how interconnected all of these ministries have become. They hear the same things, say the same things, prophecy and declare the same things and all the while they believe that they are hearing from God. Or at least those of us who are still “little people” believe that. I think there comes a time when God is going to completely fade out of it all together. The ministry will still stand as I believe they are the platform of the anti-Christ rising right out of the church.

If you find yourself aligned with these ministries, or many that have patterned themselves in the same way, if you believe you are building a kingdom here on earth for transformation, if you find yourself following after words of prophets that have no base in scripture or Jesus Christ, if you find yourself taken in by the sounds or colors of the season or numerology or if your worship of God has become all about you, what you get out of it, how and what you feel or experience- –get out. Repent and be restored and Jesus will forgive you of your apostasy and restore you to full salvation. He is faithful and true.

Jesus told Pilate “My kingdom is not of this world” in John 18:36; and in Revelation 22:7,12 and 20  the same Jesus says “I am coming quickly”.  Three times in such a short space He reminds us He is coming quickly! Repent and pray for those who are caught up in this deception!

Is it Worth the Risk?

A few days ago I was e-mailing with someone who I used to go to church with.  We left our church earlier this year because of all the false teaching and prophecy going on there.  She is still attending.

So, she asked me why we left.

And I told her.

Her response amazed me, not in a good way.

She replied that she was sorry to hear about that.

She wrote as though she was outside of it, as though it didn’t reach or touch her.

How can this be?

What if this -my answer to her -is the only warning she ever receives, and upon her death finds the ultimate horror  in the words “Depart from Me, I never knew you!”

All we have to do is read the bible.

Read the bible – it’s all in there!

“Depart from Me, I never knew you!”  Is it worth the risk?
