Spiritual drunkenness. Want to see what a drunk looks like? Go to a bar and watch and then watch this video. It’s the same bodily movements and descriptions. Carol Arnott – the more she speaks the more she gets knocked by that spirit. It is not the Holy Spirit, but do you think those in the audience care? And her husband John who says they’ve had more fun in the last 15 years than is probably legal. Really? Tell that to Christians in other countries who are tortured or martyred for their genuine faith.

I’ve avoided the whole John Crowder/Benjamin Dunn scene because they are so disgusting they are beyond mention. If you want to watch them “toke the ghost” you can find them on youtube easily enough. I can’t get into it here as I find their videos to be nothing but an outright mockery of God.
Their women are teaming with Beni Johnson (Bethel) to do a women’s conference – Girls Just Want To Have Fun (wasn’t that a Madonna song? Oops nope. It’s Cyndi Lauper, but of course the most recent recording is Miley Cyrus! Who do you think these Crowder women are getting these messages from?)
Crowder says “its like girls gone wild in the glory”. Is that supposed to be some kind of compliment? Or maybe it’s telling of just what kind of spirit is behind this movement. Then there’s the list of women throughout history who have impacted revival. hmmm.. Whose revival?
Still don’t think Bethel is going contemplative? Crowder is. Listen to the description of his upcoming conferences toward the end of the vid. Birds of a feather…

When I saw IHOP, Bethel and John Arnott (Toronto Blessing) team together I thought that was it. No. Bethel teaming with the Crowder/Dunn gang is beyond it. But, I fear it is still only the beginning. So, if its ok to be drunk in the spirit, now they will be wasted in the spirit. What an outrage before our God! What vain imaginations!
They say that abortion is the ruination of America, God is judging. But, what about the outright mockery these people have made of Him? We may need to rethink exactly what it is God will judge us for. Lou Engle and all that hot air going out on abortion and his solemn assemblies…He’s right there in the mix.
These people claim faith in the Jesus Christ who died for their sins, the One who made it possible to connect them back into relationship with God the Father. Yet they deny Him with their words of false teaching and prophecy. They deny the true person of the Holy Spirit. What is left for them now? Their Savior has already come. Who is left to save them?

I can’t believe it either. I dismissed Crowder/Dunn as idiots and fools. You have to be to mock God that way. But now to see that those in such high places like Bethel to actually join up with them! I don’t know why I am surprised after Bill Johnson protected Todd Bentley the way he did. What a down hill slope they are all on. Yes, you are right. There already are lots of them deceived and taken in by this party atmosphere, but more will be lost. Why aren’t people seeing this?

Mkayla, in my opinion people aren’t seeing this because no one wants to believe that THEY are involved in a cult or a part of something that is pagan to the core. Because the name of God is mentioned, they assume it must be good and pure. Well “allah” is also called God so I don’t think that assumption holds any water. A major shift has happened in the world…a great deception…that has led people away from the “simplicity and purity of devotion to the Lord” and been replaced with the doctrines of demons.
I agree with you Truthspeaker. My jaw was literally gaping open when I watched a couple of their videos. How anyone can buy into that heresy and actually believe it is something that honors God just shocks me. Oh Lord, let those who have eyes to see truly see…and those with ears to hear, truly hear what YOU are saying.

I stand here today ..I’ve been on the phone with Rick Joyner and Bill Johnson. They have never seen anything like the coming of the glory. People are being delivered from additions during worship. Bob Jones is saying “this is the Third wave that I saw”. We’re learning to stand in the glory….and I don’t understand it but I felt like the Lord said “Don’t let your heart be offended” I want you to pray that it spreads and intensifies and out of KC we should not just stand aloof but we should pray that it intensifies. Father we say it’s the Latter rain…it’s signs of the glory that is on us…We believe for more and more and more. Bring it here to KC…intensify it nationwide until people are being delivered of every kind of demon, every kind of mental disease…God we call on you…Jesus what about doing good and healing all who are oppressed of the devil. Lord breakout with your goodness and mercy all across America…come to KC…come in the way you wan to come….but come send the Latter rain…take away our arrogance and any pride in our heart. Lord if we are somehow something different…oh God open the healing of our children….for every sickness and disease we are now calling on you. Thank you God. It’s already on us and we are believing for more….stadiums will be filled with signs and wonders…but your hand on Todd Bentley mightily….pour out in Lakeland….spread it around the whole nation. You should pray for the rain…in the time of the Latter Rain… at the Call in KC we began to pray that 2008 would be the beginning of the great awakening. I don’t want to miss it…what we been praying for..
Father a prayer reformation…that leads to the greatest awakening in the history of America…Lord rip through the nation…amend NBC and ABC…shock the news …shock the media with your glory…Oh Jesus we saying you’re the one…come and offend our pride,,,but come…come…come with the latter rain of glory…deliver us from our additions…deliver the men of America…they are groaning under their addictions…set them free God…come with a fast deliverance Jesus.
BTW…MANY in my church were afraid of Lakeland…after this endorsement they packed their bags and flew down there and got on board. It was a horrific thing to watch.

I seem to remember this.
They act as tho God has put all this together, yet something tells me this gathering between IHOP, Bethel and Arnott has been planned by them all. It’s just a little too convenient the way they are all ganged together along with Lou Engle now too. But, where is Todd Bentley? Where is Bob Jones who has been so instrumental in these get togethers for decades! It’s so odd they are not with them.
So Bill Johnson thinks he has a word from God – I felt like the Lord said “Don’t let your heart be offended” How much more effective that it comes from the mouth of God! How deceitful this man is! And this comment – We’re learning to stand in the glory as tho they are achieving a higher spirituality than what anyone has had in the past!!! I thought the word said that God did not SHARE His glory with anyone! And why are they praying for Jesus to come?? He already has!
Oh, so much wrong here. But people get caught up in the excitement, and do not listen to what is being said. I keep thinking of Sodom and Gomorrah with what I see going on now.

Yes, and instead of standing there with egg on their faces they just go on with the same junk, even after Todd Bentley was exposed as the fake and immoral fraud that he was. Don’t forget that Johnson and Arnott and Joyner were on his “restoration” team.

But I will tell you why all this goes on, very simply…. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ Big bucks in the revival business!!

I’d viewed Bickle and IHOP with an amber light (for caution) until he endorsed Arnott and Johnson. Now it’s a red light (for danger) – the latter two are major-league heretics and deceivers, and if Bickle is prepared to join with them, then he’s just as corrupt. Equally, Beni Johnson’s involvement with Crowder and Dunn shows where her true colors lie. Avoid the lot of them!

M’Kayla, I got a message from someone who was a former IHOP intern who questioned IHOP and was kicked out…. he said that he went to one the meetings a few weeks ago and was extremely greived. He said it was like Israel dancing around the golden calf. So, that being said, there is nothing new under the sun!

I am so glad to see so many stories of the truth being told. The “golden calf” is exactly how my husband describes charismania. They got tired of waiting for God or Moses, so they build their own. Anytime these people say “God” told me, they are speaking of their own self made god, not the one true. Just like in the vid, Arnott said they should pray for gold teeth! Gold ones! Most dentists don’t even like gold in the mouth! That shows exactly who their god is! Right – there is nothing new under the sun.

“Spiritual Drunkenness”
Before I deployed to Iraq, 2004, I had taped a program that ran an expose on “Spiritual Drunkenness.” It happened to be a morning service at the Oral Roberts University Chapel with Rodney Howard-Browne ministering. During all the debauchery taking place, a man stands up and with all the mannerisms of a drunkard, (can you picture Otis of the Andy Griffin Show) and parades up and down the isle. At this same service, the camera pans the people and focuses on Richard Roberts. He is laughing up a storm while at the same time, his head is lying on a woman’s breast that is seated next to him. What a slap to God’s face to attribute the above goings on to God’s Holy Spirit.

I’m actually somewhat glad the Bethel crew is joining up with Crowder et al because it is so in your face I’m hopeful it will wake up some people I know who are enamored of Bethel teachings.

Good point Ruth. While they got drunk at Toronto, Crowder and his crew are getting stoned by “tokin’ the ghost”. To me this obivious deception is an no-brainer but many people are caught up in this deception.

You know, I am constantly amazed at how people can just jump on the bandwagon of these people as if they have a special hotline to heaven or something. They remind me of Obamanites, truly they do. The same spirit of just willing to believe a lie. It is a very subtle New Agey spirit at work here. the three rivers have to come together??? What is that all about, other than man inventing a bunch of junk for the sheeple to follow?

I know it’s hard to believe, but I know that otherwise “normal” :o), level-headed, loving, Christian people have set their sights on Bethel – my sister (who has recently taken a job at the church) and her family, and my parents to a lesser degree. The people at Bethel are nice, and care and pray for one another, and are deeply sincere in their “faith”. Pray for them that the Holy Spirit will open their eyes to the ungodliness that reigns there and give them a love for God and his Word that will overcome their earthly attachments.
For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths. II Tim. 4:3-4

Yes, not only are they unwilling to endure the sound teaching, but many no longer can tell the difference between sound and unsound. They are caught up in the feeling and see what they consider to be good fruit and so are convinced it is the work of God. It is sad, it is scary. They definitely need prayer. I am so sorry for this news of your sister and family. God is bringing many out, He can do the same. Maybe it is a good thing she is working at the church because maybe it will give her an inside glimpse.

The Spirit of drunkeness is from a poisoned well-I’ve been in churches where they have promoted this stuff and you can almost cut the air with a knife-there is a heaviness/ “presence” there for sure but whatever it is-its nooo good! This delusion is very enchanting that’s why so many people are getting sucked into it-it’s like an very strong current when you walk across a riverbedthere’s an undertow- a thing tugging at you-it pulls you in and you either have to fight hard to keep clear/walk through it or it gradually pulls people into it-then even worse they get pulled down under and are totally submerged in it. Please Stay away!!!

Apparently, many of the videos that expose what has really gone on have been taken down. I doubt that there has been a change of heart, just a decision to hide who and what they truly are.
