Wakey Wakey Whacked Words

Ray brought to my attention the blog of Beni Johnson (the wife of Bill Johnson, Bethel Church in Redding CA, USA) Beni is doing a women’s conference this weekend – Girls Just Want to Have Fun – with Lili Crowder (wife of the heretic John Crowder, who, along with his apostate pal Benjamin Dunn formed Sons of Thunder, now in Santa Cruz, CA)  If you have kiddies keep them from these mad mystics! We can see how far off base Bethel is headed now.

From Ray-

Mkayla
Found this piece of profound insight on Beni Johnsons blog.I knew that Bill and co were off the mark, but it would appear that Beni is the one drinking from the weird well. Her comment about ” seers” reveals plenty of where her heart is.Wasn’t sure if this was the right place to post this , but it seems to fit here.
…………………………………………………………………………

Several years ago, I was talking with one of our seers. (A seer is one who has the ability or gift of seeing into the spirit realm.) We were talking about the prayer house. There had been some strange ungodly happenings going on around the house. She told me that there was an illegal communication line going into the prayer house. Obviously, this was something that was not legal and needed to be taken care of. I knew I needed to pray and get God’s solution to this intrusion. As I asked God, I felt like I was to take the shofar to the prayer house and blow it there. So I went early one morning with a friend, and when the sun came up, I blew the shofar. That is all I did. I didn’t pray. This was the first time I had ever used the shofar. I really have no idea why. I had never been a fan of blowing the shofar. Someone had given me one and I thought they were cool, but didn’t think I would use it for anything. But little did I know?. Because of the strange happenings going on and our prayer house being open 24/7, we had brought on security staff to watch over the place. So, after I blew the shofar that day, I waited a week and went to our security guy and asked him how the week had gone at the house. He did not know that we had blown the shofar the week before. His response to me was, “You know, the strangest thing happened this week. There was no weirdness. It all has left.” I was so excited and I knew that the sound of the shofar had released the sound of heaven that displaced the evil intent. Since then, we have used the shofar from time to time to release a sound into the atmosphere. Just like in the declarations that we pray, the same power that is released when we declare is the same power that is released in sound. God’s first language is not English, nor does he just use words to fulfill His will. That is the adventure of serving Him. Listen for His voice and be a releaser of the sounds of heaven!

From Me:

Ray,
Oh my! Blowing the shofar, huh? Wasn’t that done for a call to worship, a call to assemble and something holy?? As far as I know, women didn’t blow shofars. But listen, this new agey thing she is saying and this is certainly not new. But the sound that releases _______ into the atmosphere. We hear that same thing from so many – Kim Clement, Joanne McFatter, Chuck Pierce…many others.

Jesus is the New Covenant. When do we read the disciples blowing a shofar??? It is the old way, the old covenant and even then it didn’t have supernatural powers!

God’s first language is not English, nor does he just use words to fulfill His will. God’s first language does not have to be English, but it is the language many of us, including Beni speak when we speak to God. but that second part – He doesn’t just use words….meaning what, that God uses sound??? or??? Chapter and verse, please Beni! Can’t you just see the demons running around playing right along with these games? Even supposing the action was demonic we aren’t told to blow a shofar, but to pray. but then again, who can say what is meant when the “seer” (gag) told me that there was an illegal communication line going into the prayer house. What does that MEAN? More vain imaginations. She could have gotten the same effect by using a kazzoo.

I didn’t find this on her blog. (Can you send me the link?) But I did find some other things just as strange and misleading. Pied Piper.

WAKEY WAKEY

Angels are among us! They come for a lot of reasons. There are different kinds of angels: messenger angels, healing angels, fiery angels. Ok, Angels are messengers period. They do not bring healing. Does anyone know what a fiery angel is?  Maybe the one who brings the fire when they call out “Fire! Fire!” I think that they have been bored for a long time and are ready to be put to work.  So, the angels who were created by God have grown bored. Is she kidding with this? I thought angels did the work of God, not the work of man, not -especially- the work of Beni Johnson! They are here to help usher the Kingdom of God into our realm. As we begin to recognize that they are among us, we will begin to see more angelic activity as we pull heaven to earth. This is dominionism at it’s creepiest. They actually think they are creating an atmosphere different from the one God created. Is she suggesting that the work of the cross by Jesus Christ, the son of God did not usher in the kingdom of God here on earth? Sounds like it to me. Better watch out.

One of our students came to our Supernatural School of Ministry from Wales. Before she moved here, she had a major encounter with God. She was woken in the middle of the night because the presence of God was so strong in her room. She could see a visible cloud in her room, (remember this is what Todd Bentley refers to as “the Glory”) and she waited on God to see what He was saying. Then God said to her, “I want you to go to Moriah Chapel and say ‘wakey wakey.'” She thought, “You want me to do what?! I’m sorry God, but I’m not doing that!”  Good idea to question this directive! Then He said to her again, “I want you to go to Moriah Chapel and say ‘wakey wakey.'” Ok. Do any of you reading this actually believe that our Almighty God uses words like wakey wakey? At that point, she knew that if she didn’t do it, she would regret it for the rest of her life. The next day when she got to the chapel, there were a lot of people outside. She said normally the chapel was empty. She asked God why there were so many people there and He said to her, “Because I had to tell you twice.” And had she not gone she would have avoided the humiliation completely! She stood outside of the chapel and whispered “wakey wakey” because she did not want anyone to hear her. God then said to her, “Is that how much you want revival in Wales?” She then stood there that day and yelled at the top of her lungs, “WAKEY WAKEY”!!!  This must be the new summons for the revival genie.

Nothing happened for about five minutes, so she turned around to cross the road to go over to a shop. time to shop! As she turned around, she felt the ground begin to shake and heard this huge yawn. Dig it! A YAWN! She looked back at the chapel, and a huge angel stepped out. All she could see were his feet because he was that large. A huge angel so large this person could only see his feet, yet he walked out of a chapel. I’m assuming the door. So, what, did he suddenly grow as he passed through the door frame?  I am thinking Hulk here. She asked him who he was, and he turned to her and said, “I am the angel from the 1904 revival and you just woke me up.” Isn’t it amazing and astonishingly prophetic that these guys always hear from revival angels of the past?  1904 – does that make him the Azusa angel? But the most intriguing part is that he was ASLEEP! She asked him, “Why have you been asleep?” The angel answered and said, “Because no one has been calling out for revival anymore.” What crap. True revival is on the hearts and lips of all believers as they utter their prayers for such to God! But hear the repetitive message that no one is doing what they should be  – over and over we hear this! She then asked him if he was the angel that was going to bring the next revival. He told her no because the next revival would bring in many more souls for the Kingdom. Who knows what that means as it makes no sense to me. Since the angel has awoken, he has been seen by many others around Wales. Let’s get this ironed out. Ok, assuming this story is even true —The angel was awakened from his sleep by the summons Wakey Wakey to bring revival, ordered by God, only to say that he would not be bringing revival? Are these people on lsd or what? Do they read this stuff before it goes to print?

I don’t know about you, but that would really get me excited! Having a visitation like that would really shake you up. I like angels. When you talk about them, they like to show up! And when they come, they bring the presence of God. They do? I never realized God needed angels to bring His presence. Being the Almighty Creator and existing before any of us including the angels, I would think He would have that worked out.  My!  The implication of her words!

In the last couple of months, I personally have become more aware of the angelic activity in this realm. One of those times was when we were on a prayer trip to Arizona. A group of us had decided that it was time for us to take a prayer trip down to Sedona to release more of God’s Kingdom. In doing so, we rented an RV and drove from Redding, California, (where we live) all the way down to Sedona, Arizona. Along the way, we would stop and pray if we felt impressed to do so. Of course, Sedona where all the new agers and witches congregate!

One morning as we were driving up over Tehachapi Pass and coming down into the Mojave Desert, I began to feel angels. The closer we got, the stronger the impression felt. I could see them everywhere! Whenever there are angels present, I get very animated and excited, (Funny, that in the bible when grown men saw angels they were filled with fear and had to be reassured they were ok! But Beni and her gang are special.) knowing that God is up to something big. I announced this to the group and said, “We have got to stop! We have to stop somewhere.” (potty stop) We found an exit, took it and drove into this little town. We didn’t really know what to do or where to go. We just knew that something was going on and we needed to find out what. As we drove around a corner I said, “I think that we are going to wake up some angels here.” No sooner had I said that than we drove past a hotel to our left and, no joke, the name of the store was Mariah Country Inn. When I saw that sign, we immediately remembered the wakey wakey story from Wales. Moriah and Mariah are not the same names. But what the heck, it’s only off by one little ol letter, right? We knew we were to turn around, get out of the RV and wake up the angels. I wish I could convey to you the energy and the quickness of how God was working. Yeah, this is something that was failed to be mentioned in the bible. We are so glad we have you to fill us in tho on how these things really work. We jumped out of the RV, I blew the shofar and rang the bell, (wait – rang the bell? the bell? now I’m hysterical – every time a bell rings an angel gets his wings! I guess that’s what she was doing then, huh?) and we yelled “WAKEY WAKEY.” We got back into the RV and drove off. As we drove off, hilarious laughter broke out! like hysteria We were stunned at the speed at which this all took place and were spinning from the adventure and the angelic activity. What in the world had just happened?! Heaven collided with earth. Woo hoo!! Something collided all right but I very much doubt that heaven and earth collided seeing as we are all still alive. So at the end of the day what did God do here, exactly! After all the excitement and showfar blowing and bell ringing, decreeing, giggling girl style, what exactly happened?? Oh, Nothing!

Since that time, there has been a stirring in me to awaken the angels for use in this Kingdom reign that is upon us here on earth. I have shared these two stories in other places and have done a prophetic act of waking up the angels: having everybody cry out, “WAKEY WAKEY!” I know it is strange but it is very effective.

Where do these people get this stuff?  They just run around all over the country doing these strange things in the name of God with no biblical basis whatsoever. Guess who’s funding all this fun? Again, I am reminded of the false prophetic word John Kilpatrick was given – RESURRECTION (go here). Kinda close.

One more story: yippie! We were having a conference here at the church. Randy Clark was our speaker along with Bill. Yes, Randy and Bill often “minister” together. Randy had lost his Bible somewhere at the church. We couldn’t find it anywhere. One of our gals who enjoys God’s angels  – yippie – and gets pretty wacked when they are around, was standing next to a friend of mine. She announced that there was an angel right by her. He had been helping us look for Randy’s Bible. He said to her, “Then why don’t you ask the angel where Randy’s Bible is.” She did. When she did, she turned and walked towards our administration building. She walked right into Bill’s office, got down on the floor, looked between the couch and table and there was his Bible. Angel is another name for a spirit guide or as the bible calls them familiar spirits. Not the same as the angels who are in heaven, but more of the fallen type that took sides with Lucifer…you know the story…

Angels are here and they are among us. Be ready to use them when you are supposed to. We do not worship angels, nor do we command them around, but we should not be ignoring them either. How exactly can we “use” angels especially since she says we cannot command them. Isn’t wakey wakey commanding them to awaken?  Hello? They are here to carry out God’s Kingdom. We have noticed that they also like having fun and being among us. They have been sent to assist us, and we need all the help we can get. I, for one, am ready and willing and God is releasing more! So get ready. They will come at times when you least expect it!  I am sure the “angels” that gather around Beni and her gang have a great time. I am sure the upcoming stoopid, drunk, tokin the ghost party will be a blast.   Too bad it won’t be so much of a party to find out who was behind all this fun at the end of days.

WAKEY WAKEY!!

Someone really needs to wake up but it isn’t the angels.

Beni’s blog    (just in case you think I’m kiddin’. And you will see this wakey wakey thing is a part of her life now. Impartation coming soon to a city near you.)

There is no fear of God  – none.   He has been reduced to their “pal”,  a god of their own understanding and making, therefore they are free to do as they please. Yes, I am making fun of her in this article. Her actions and teachings are so stupid that I can’t believe she has put them in print, much less on the internet! But what these people do to the name of Christ is not funny. Being a 5th generation pastor as Bill is so quick to point out, he is without excuse to allow this mess to go on.  And one day this woman will no longer be laughing as she is now. Where is the humor in maligning the word of God and the work of angels?  These claims she has made are not in the bible, not one of them.
If you run with Bethel, run the other way. It’s time. I have already shown you the false teaching behind the healing rooms in which Johnson is a part of. We’ve seen them join forces with and protect Todd Bentley and we know where that went. We have seen them come together just recently with IHOP and the hosts of the Toronto Blessing.  We know they follow the direction of the false prophet Bob Jones. This is the next step of darkness.  Their joining with Crowder is a really bad move but it does show us who they really are. The love of the truth is not in them.

  1. I’m really shocked that B. Johnson is attending this. They (Bethel) seem to have made an attempt to distance themselves from this group. I had a chance recently to have lunch with the Crowders and the Dunns before they did a “meeting” in my area.

To be honest, the lunch was far from the public characters. I just don’t get these guys. I’ve tried. Even the “mystic” history is off. I haven’t pushed the heresy button yet, but maybe a time-out is in order.

  2. This is plain stupidity – Its hard to believe this is what people are doing. I was on Moriel Ministries suite – Click onto read sermons Jacob Prash go down to Why three years of Toronto and Still No Revival read the article It’s Roots and it’s Fruits – there you will see what Kenneth Copeland believes about the cross – I know he is a false teacher but, when I read that I phoned my sister to tell here it just blows me away. So I know these articles you put in are for real it is so hard to believe this is the stupidness of people’s talk and beliefs.

    • Sorry, it is not a joke. Beni actually told a portion of this in the write up by CBN I posted about a week ago.

      Angelic Encounter

Johnson also shared a story told by a Welsh student at Bethel’s School of Supernatural Ministry. A woman from Wales described a wild encounter she had with an angel at the chapel where the great 1904 Welsh Revival began.

“She turned around and she saw a huge, huge angel. She said the foot of the angel was as large as the chapel. It was that big,” Johnson recalled. “And she actually had the nerve to talk to this angel, and said, ‘Are you the angel of this next Great Awakening?’ And he said, ‘No, I’m the angel of the 1904 Awakening. But there is another one coming. And it is bigger and it is greater.’”

The last three lines are not the same as the telling of it on her blog. Oh – details! Who really cares, huh?

  4. I had the same reaction: “This has got to be a joke” It’s hard to stifle an incredulous laugh. It points out Bethel leadership’s lack of discernment at the least. Until this, it was hard to point to anything that their followers should easily see as false. I think the veneer of respectability is falling.

  5. Unbelievable! I notice that she doesn’t allow comments on her blog page. Too bad. Did you read her blog entry on “Heaven…Sounds from Heaven”? She actually admits to consulting with a seer. Between that and the wakey nonsense, I wonder if she’s becoming mentally unstable.

    • Seers are very important to these “ministries”. They are the ones who let them know what is going on in the spirit realm so they can take up their game-playing as we are seeing – whether it be commands spoken to angels or blowing the shofar, or ringing the bell, (does anyone get that??) or even the act of breaking arrows of the enemy off another…you name it, it can be done! Whatever is done in the natural has an effect in the spiritual. Not really, but they think so. Ken Copeland believes, as does his wife, Gloria, that they have the power to control the weather. I’ve heard them both tell stories of speaking into tornadoes to dispel them, ordering them to “get back up into those clouds!”. uh-huh…

  6. Oh, M’Kayla, I do not know whether to laugh or cry right now. Although I did laugh at your comments. You are so funny, and you help this swill go down a little less painlessly. “I blew the shofar and rang the bell, (wait – rang the bell? the bell? now I’m hysterical – every time a bell rings an angel gets his wings! I guess that’s what she was doing then, huh?) and we yelled “WAKEY WAKEY.” We got back into the RV and drove off. As we drove off, hilarious laughter broke out!

I am astonished at the foolishness of this woman. I am astonished that she cannot discern the hilarious laughter is most likely the demonic spirits who have been mocking her and the Welsh girl all along, all of them laughing, laughing, laughing. It breaks my heart that many of the women from my former church will probably be there, and my former pastor’s wife, who was my good friend, right in the front, maybe holding a mic. Oh, oh, oh! How I love these deluded people.

And I do think I will do some crying. And then maybe, just maybe I can go down there this time and crash this party. If I can find a girl to go have fun with–my husband won’t let me go alone, and he is absolutely right to want to protect me this way.

Thank God for my husband’s protection and wisdom! I am clueless, really. Read my comment on http://thenface2face.wordpress.com/2010/01/06/a-conversation-after-eden/ to see how you helped bring a great insight into my heart. Maybe a breakthrough. No Angel needed there–God works His best ways through His body. Wise and humble words through good friends. Thank you.

    • Karen, really this was very hard and I am finding it harder to do all the time. I wonder if I should, but then remember when I needed the truth and seeing it right in front of my eyes through the work of others was such a great revelation.

Maybe some of my humor comes from the fact that I used to do this stuff too. In the false prophetic everything has a meaning, their proof being that God does not waste anything. So, I guess women who hear the song “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” more than likely believe the Holy Spirit is telling them to go to this conference! This how it works. It can also be very powerful and very convincing. And when you have friends who operate the same way, you just bounce off each other in it. And you become more and more disillusioned as the days go by. I have some stories of my own something like this one. But -but- but!!! And But– again! The truth is found in the word. So if I think I am in the presence of an angel because I feel all—excited, or tingly, or I fall – – I can go to the word and find experiences of others where were in the presence of an angel. There is the difference smack in the face! K-pow! And Yay God for His truth!

But this woman in her deceived vain imaginings has taken this story with her wherever she goes. She retells it on her blog, at her conferences and has it on dvd in their store. So, if the lie is so readily available then the truth must be too.

Now, I seem to remember you were wanting to make a trip out the the Crowder’s street preaching and take them some cinnamon rolls! If I were in the area, I would go with you. It’s a little bit of a drive from WA!

I saw your comment on your blog this morning. It is touching! Thanks for sharing your beautiful gift.

Kinda reminds me (again) of Wendy Alec and her Chronicle of Brothers, written by her, the self proclaimed prophet about a true, but not so true story of the fall of Lucifer. True because she says it’s so, not so true because it cannot be found in the bible. There’s angels in her story too. Wendy’s story is a series, I wonder if Wakey Wakey will be too.

“The truth is found in the word.”

Unfortunately people are only interested in PARTS OF the word – because they can use selected parts to justify anything that they want to justify.
Also having a “prophetic” or “mystical” focus will convince these people that they are privy to the deeper meanings of scripture so they no longer need to heed the plain and simple, straight forward meaning written on the page.

However, the group being highlighted in this thread are not the only ones taking this very selective and subjective approach to scripture. It is the common factor behind most if not all of the false teaching affecting the church. This group is merely a modern manifestation of an age-old phenomenon that comes in multiple forms. This one is very demonstrative while others are far more staid and “respectable”. They may even appear to be total opposites – but their root is the same: the abuse and misuse of scripture to support man’s corrupt “theological” imagination and ambitions.

I am not at all saying that you guys aren’t Christians, or that you’re horrible people. I’m just saying wow. Look at how much laughter was derived from making fun of and labeling people who Jesus loves. Jesus loves and laid down His life for every single person in that Church…we need to be loving them because He does. If they give a word contrary to His, then judge that word…not them. When we judge others, God uses that measure and in turn we will be judged. I don’t say these things to fight, I really think you have great things to say and are very encouraging, but this particular topic…doesn’t sound like our loving Father

    • In the context of this (false) prophetic word which B Johnson named “wakey wakey” I see no problem with making fun of it. It is absolutely ridiculous! I don’t know that I believe God loves false prophets and teachers! I am not so much judging them as I am in what they are teaching others and don’t for one minute believe that God is going to judge me for speaking the truth, other than I have done what the bible teaches, to mark, expose and have nothing to do with those who preach a different gospel. I am far too tired of wimpy Christians who won’t be bothered to speak the truth against false teachers, warning others to stay away, and instead pull out the “love” card. There is more to our Father than love, there is truth and judgement and we are called to judge prophets.

Romans 16:17 Now I urge you, brethren, keep your eye on those who cause dissensions and hindrances contrary to the teaching which you learned, and turn away from them. 18For such men are slaves, not of our Lord Christ but of their own appetites; and by their smooth and flattering speech they deceive the hearts of the unsuspecting

Galatians 1:9As we have said before, so I say again now, if any man is preaching to you a gospel contrary to what you received, he is to be accursed!
10For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a bond-servant of Christ.

  23. It is completely biblical to judge a prophetic word, we are instructed to test it. What I am saying is that they claim the name of Jesus and they love Him. So we need to just test the word and get on with loving them.

“But what does it matter? The important thing is that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is preached. And because of this I rejoice.”
    -Philippians 1:18

“May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else, just as ours does for you.”
    -1Thessalonians 3:12

And yes, God does love them. Regardless of whether their word was good or not, they do strive to know Him and to love Him.

” For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
    Romans 8:38-39

  24. M’Kayla, I was wondering about that reference to Phil. 1:18 about Christ still being preached. I am completely in agreement with your position of this. I was just wondering your take on this because I was reading that in December of last year and thought that maybe I should just let those who believe in the non sense do so since people are being “saved,” right? Anyway, that particular scripture still is a mystery to me regarding this topic. I am curious on your understanding on this scripture. IMO, and you may correct me in this please if I am off base, but if these groups are not preaching the real Jesus then this scripture would not apply and instead the ones concerning the treatment of false teachers/prophets applies. IMO, we have as much of a responsibility to witness the truth to these people and expose the error as we do to those of all false religions, regardless if they proclaim to “love Jesus.” I have a friend on facebook who goes to what I’d call a sister church of Bethel and in their “kingdom training school of supernatural ministry” (still conflicted on if I should unfriend her or not as I did most of my friends from my past church but that’s a different topic I suppose), and even though there is this feeling of love and adoration for Jesus, what I often see is, like at my past church, self love and self worship. It’s all about how God is giving her words all the time, and all these gifts He’s bestowing, and she even gets in slumps when she hasn’t received a “word” in a two week period. IMO, if you want a word, open THE WORD and let the Holy Spirit speak to you. They also use the terms “pre Christian” and ever since the introduced The Shack into their school curriculum, ummmm, huh?, she ALWAYS refers to God as Papa (although sometimes she’ll say Papa God). I’m curious if our Holy, Sovereign, Creator of all things enjoys and loves those who refer to Him by a name written in a book encouraging universalism and having many unbiblical principles? Anyway, I digress. Sorry, kinda went on a rabbit trail, lol! There’s just so much going on there, and all throughout the “church” that just really makes my head spin.

    • Philippians 1:14 and that most of the brethren, trusting in the Lord because of my imprisonment, have far more courage to speak the word of God without fear. 15Some, to be sure, are preaching Christ even from envy and strife, but some also from good will; 16the latter do it out of love, knowing that I am appointed for the defense of the gospel; 17the former proclaim Christ out of selfish ambition rather than from pure motives, thinking to cause me distress in my imprisonment. 18What then? Only that in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is proclaimed; and in this I rejoice.
Yes, and I will rejoice, 19for I know that this will turn out for my deliverance through your prayers and the provision of the Spirit of Jesus Christ, 20according to my earnest expectation and hope, that I will not be put to shame in anything, but that with all boldness, Christ will even now, as always, be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death.

The context of this scripture speaks of Paul’s imprisonment and the motives of others preaching Christ. It is not a look at false teaching, but poor motives. See also 2 Corinthians 2:17. There is a clear distinction made in scripture between the two, and we are to avoid any resemblance of false teachers/ings and prophets. But here in these two scriptures we see bad motives.

I don’t know that I agree people are actually being saved, because salvation is a matter of REPENTANCE and then discipleship, laying down our lives to follow Christ. These are not being preached in charismania! The focus is on the person, their gifting, destiny, passion, blah, blah, leaving the need of the cross out of the picture. This cannot be done. Without the cross, without repentance a person will remain lost. Assumed passion, love or desire is not enough! They are teaching the “other jesus” we have been warned about, see 2 Corinthians 11:4. They are using the name of Christ and some basic truths, but are far from the true gospel. Remember, there always has to be a element of truth for the lie to take hold, and here we see it! We are told to warn of false teachings and then get away from them. Warn them once, then a second time and then you are finished! See this – -https://mkayla.wordpress.com/2012/01/31/pearls-to-pigs-and-them-dogs/

Anytime you are looking at scripture and can’t get hold of the meaning, spend some time in prayer, consider the surrounding verses and other scriptures that support the message in what you are trying to understand. It will become clearer to you!

Thanks for commenting Ashley. I enjoyed sharing this with you! 🙂

  25. wow people.. when was the last time you read the bible..you would have probably freaked out when Peter shared his experiences…. Where would you have been standing if you were there during the book of acts? Outside the upper room? Wondering what you missed out on?

I used to question all these things, but I don’t care how crazy or even silly it may look, there are counterfeits out there. You see them all the time. Drugs, Alcohol.. mediums…. What do you think the demonic is counterfeiting?…. yet you criticize an outpouring that is biblical and a holy spirit infilling of wonderful apostolic leaders like Beni, Heidi Baker who are doing so much for the kingdom.

    Just a thought.

Why waste your time on here hurting other christians… don’t you know this race we run is not against each other but for ourselves and why waste your time breaking down the church body further?

If its from Heaven I want it. I don’t want to miss out on anything God gives. It makes me sad that I found this looking for the poem shared at that conference… I expect this from non believers… but from what looks to be like fellow christians… just breaks my heart.

    • josy, if you believe the goings on at Bethel are biblically based you are in for some great trouble. Just because something with power happens does not mean it is from God. Please show me in the scripture (for starters) where we are told to wake up angels or that angels sleep to begin with. The simple fact that you will not find it is your first clue something is very wrong. Pay attention.

  26. Josy said, “wow people.. when was the last time you read the bible..you would have probably freaked out when Peter shared his experiences”

Peter’s experiences were always in line with the Word of God and produced fruit in his life consistent with the work of the Holy Spirit, including “gentleness” and “self-control” (see Galatians 5:22-23). Peter gave stern warnings to fellow believers, among them:

“The end of all things is near. Therefore be clear minded and self-controlled so that you can pray.” (1 Peter 4:7)

“Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.” (1 Peter 5:8)

You cannot square Peter’s words with behaviors that include rolling around on the floor in a “drunken” stuper, shaking uncontrollably, getting “high” on “god”, uncontrollable fits of laughter or any of the other excesses promoted by Bethel. If you truly love the Word of God who is Jesus Christ in the flesh, then you will recognize this and stay away from it.

  27. We can test everything as scripture admonishes us, or we can blindly follow the blind and fall into the pit they have set for themselves. What are the fruits in this video? Gentleness, patience, self-control? NOPE. I see vultures gathering around a dead body….

  28. What a disgraced group of Counterfeit Believers! All the more, we need to be armed with The Gospel. I visited Bethel in Redding. I was raised there. Watching several thousand worshiping and chanting, hands raised, bare feet and smiles everywhere. But, something was missing! Somebody was missing! And that Someone was in my heart and Spirit saying “get out, and stay out”. Jesus does not mix his Gospel. Speaking the truth in love is biblical, and if you think your committed to accepting any Gospel and any Church at the expense of not hurting feelings, or being critical and self righteous, then how will you feel about thousands of deceived people spending eternity in hell, forever, and ever! And as worse, you yourselves for supporting this lying deceptive cult, all in the name of God. What God? Which one? Jesus said ” I am the way the truth and the life, NO man cometh to the Father but by ME. If you are, or even thinking about dabbling into this movement, just remember. There are 3 kinds of deception. 1) people deceiving us 2) us deceiving others and 3) the most dangerous of ALL Self-deception. A little leaven, leaveneth the whole lump. If you are a part of this movement, and you lost your life tomorrow, where will you spend eternity?

  29. This is all very reminiscent of when I was in the open, honest and upfront titled “new age ‘christian’ church”. Back in the day when Bethel was just a glimmer in satan’s eye. We too visited the graveyards and set the demons free all over the world. We did mighty works and did an amazing amount of what appeared to be ‘good works’, there were many miracles, signs and wonders. I witnessed cancer, hiv and unexplained illnesses cured. The majority of these were a temporary healing, since none of those we cast demons from actually repented of sin and turned their lives over to Jesus Christ. The demon was cast out and many more came back with it, to the empty house. We (just like Bethelites) embraced the assistance of demons and considered it to be great fun. Those demons who masquerade as angels were more than willing to help find lost articles and give a word in an itchy ear. Honestly, some of those demons are quite ugly and smell horrible, just sayin’, that is when you see them in their true form.
All of this also brings to mind a quote I ran across recently from John G. Lake: His Life His Sermons, His Boldness of Faith, Kenneth Copeland Publications, 1995, p13: “It is not honoring to Jesus Christ that sickness should possess us. We do not want disease. We want to be gods”
Yep, those silly new agers in denial are being taught very seductively that they too are gods. Which has been the satanic agenda ever since the real God threw that wanna be rascal right out of heaven. Unfortunately, Bethel simply denies their new age title and has become a leading force in the worship of a false jesus, also known as an antichrist.
I praise Yah many, many times a day for rescuing me and saving me from certain damnation. I was one messed up pup for years after the new age, who didn’t want to listen to reason from those regular Christians, who read the Bible faithfully and studied The Word. (It was pounded into my head that the Bible could not be trusted as the actual Word of God, since it was written and rewritten many times over by mere humans) When I came to my senses, via an ‘enlightenment’ and walked away from that nacc, my family fell under massive attack from the forces of evil. I was pushed down the stairs twice, in the dark sides effort to shut me up and keep me from talking. The last time was just a little over a year ago when I began speaking out in my word of faith/charismatic church concerning the similarities of what I walked out of years ago and what I was witnessing in the church through the teachings of Randy Clark and Bill Johnson (supernatural schools). However, today I shout hallelujah, for my God is faithful. It has been a very long journey of healing, which at this point God has turned to his highest good by delivering to me ample time to read and study His Word. I am so grateful that my Father has lovingly guided me into His truth, which abides in Scripture.
If the people that are seeing and interacting with these so-called angels would test the spirits as written in 1John 4, and become brutally honest with themselves they just might be blessed with seeing exactly who is the driving force behind these teachings that are leading them in the direction of the wide gate. (I would advise here to be very careful what you ask for, you might just get it). Today, I find that I truly feel sorry for the Johnson’s, and the Clark’s (as well as many others) who have been lead astray. Especially though, I pray that my ‘sisters’ would become bold enough to ask in the name of Jesus Christ that they be shown God’s Absolute Truth of the signs and wonders they are chasing. The Lord must have had a really great plan, until they fell into the trap. And yes, it truly is a trap of massive proportions.
Sorry for the length, got carried away. Lol.
