Recently I had a woman contact me who I had given a “prophetic” word to a couple of years ago while at a women’s conference. We have been e-mailing back and forth since that day she contacted me, and I have been giving her some information to show her why the spirit that I had been operating under was not that of the Holy Spirit.
Our God does indeed work miracles today because this woman is able to see the truth. I am so grateful that the Lord is bringing her out of the false teaching and am very encouraged by this news. I know I have talked with many others here who at one point or another were also involved. Some of you I have talked with on the phone and through e-mailing. It has been an honor to help you, to hear your stories and to share in your lives.Ā And in return I have been helped by many of you through your experiences, your faith and your wisdom – and your prayers! Blessed be the name of the Lord. For it is only through Him that we are able to find the truth!
I know so many of us have been affected and even altered spiritually because of all the false teaching from Word of Faith, Bethel, the supernatural and the false prophetic and the many teachers and prophets who bring these heresies. We continue to see our God in His great mercy and love work in our lives and in the lives of those we pray for. This truly is the justice of the Lord! And so we continue to wage war against these lies of the enemy remaining confident that our Lord will see us through to the very end and we will stand with Him on that day. Please continue to pray for the deceived as well as the lost. There is hope – here is the testimony! Thank you Jesus! And thanks to all of you who take the risk to speak the truth the Lord has sown into your hearts and the truth of His word. We have this evidence that each of us had a part in this great testimony –Ā and there will be more.Ā BELIEVE it. š
I am reminded of these verses – 1 Corinthians 3:7-9Ā So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase. 8 Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor. 9 For we are Gods’ fellow workers; you are God’s field, you are God’s building.
Thank you for upholding the One who died for your sins – the one and only true Messiah Jesus Christ!

Hi im from the UK and was sent this article from another sister ,myself and family were deceived for 15yrs we were not soundly saved to begin with and there for believed what we were taught,god tv sadly played a big part in the deception.we partner with WOF and B/hinn.we sold our home to move to a mega church we were there for 5yrs,it was only the grace of God that open my eyes firstly to the gospel through Way of the Master min(Ray Comfort)which showed me,about my sin,rightousness,Judgment to come the Lord saved me and led us out of our purpose driven/sighns an wonders church 3yrs ago now.we lost those friends we loved and thought loved us,htey just wont listen to what the word of God says,it breaks my heart.we used to hold house group in our home but my “friend” led it sadly she is into IHOP,Kansas city,Todd B,etc we dont see them because the stopped visiting when we left fase stuff,but have emailed truth from sites with no response.but will continue to pray for them.love this site Mkayla, thanks for your honesty and encouragment.may the Lord bless you.

It took me YEARS to get the Word of Faith teachings out of my head and heart.
I honestly believed you could SPEAK GOD’S WORD OVER (whatever) AND WHATEVER YOU SPOKE OVER IT HAD TO HAPPEN!
Man, does that ever take the humility out of the Christian walk and does it ever put someone other than the Lord Jesus in control of ALL the thoughts and actions.
Here I am, 30 years later, totally repentant. I thank Him for His grace and mercy.

I find myself every so often thinking along those lines too, like a knee jerk reaction to some situation I don’t like or don’t want in my life. Speak it out! Might as well burp, it’s just as effective. hehe.

Thanks, I needed that. I have spoken of you to my friends, forwarded your blog to them, and am so grateful for you and the work you perservere in. Many would say, well, now why don’t you just get on with your life. Why keep dwelling on this – you know its false. Now just be grateful you’re out of it and move on. If God chooses to show those still deceived, He will. Its not up to you (I heard these very words yesterday). But the Lord allows us to go through things for a reason. And just as my testimony of how I came to Christ matters, this matters, for those who are perishing. I am constrained. So much of our “job” is to bear witness, to testify to the truth. It is love of the highest order. It is so good to see that you know that, and your personal commitment speaks volumes of your love for His body. Let us move forward, remembering especially the end of this letter, v20-25 (below):

OOH! THAT! She did this a few years ago on another highway that was deemed holy. They called it a Highway to Holiness. After all the so called prayer and hoopla going on there a bridge fell down. Do you remember that? It might be still on her site somewhere. I thought it was pretty scary that after all that declaring and decreeing holiness the thing fell and people were injured and some probably lost their lives. Where do these false prophets get thier ideas? One guess. Cindy has become a scary lady – very militant and we saw her join forces recently with Joyner.

The verse in Jude that was quoted above, verse 3, that speaks of the faith that was “once given” or “once for all given” to the saints, depending on which translation you read, is one of the main Scriptures that helped me to see the error of all of this.
So much of the prophetic and NAR revolves around the idea that, “God is doing a new thing.”
According to Jude, we were give a “once for all” faith, not one that is constantly being added too because God decided to do something new in our time! It seems to be a very strong contrast to me.
