The Iraq Dinar Revalues As Part of Kingdom Wealth!!!!

The following article was submitted by just1ofhis. It contains an interesting mix of New Age, Word of Faith prosperity promises, false prophecies and flat out lies. When we are not checking the bible to these kinds of claims or doing other research to find out the truth we become ensnared. This is one way the people of God perish or are destroyed from a lack of knowledge – Hosea 4:6.

The Iraq Dinar Revalues!!!!

Did that get your heart beating faster?  This is news that a large number of people following some very dangerous and deceiving self-declared “prophets” have been anxiously waiting for.  These deluded people are on a roller coaster ride from hell.

For years now, the dominionists have been speaking about a great wealth transfer about to take place in God’s Kingdom to bring the wealth of the rich into the hands of the poor.  Consider this “prophetic declaration” spoken by C. Peter Wagner before some 1500 followers at the Pentecost Celebration at Glory of Zion in Texas in June of 2006.  The conference was titled “From the Pit to the Palace.”

GOD’S KINGDOM WEALTH SHALL BE RELEASED! By C. Peter Wagner

I hereby take the apostolic authority that I have been given by God as an ambassador for the Kingdom of God. I make this decree on the foundation of the blood shed by Jesus Christ, God’s Son, at the cross of Calvary. I enunciate these words by the power of the infilling of the Third Person of the Trinity, the Holy Spirit of God.

(My note:  Gospel 101:  Then He took the cup, gave thanks and offered it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you.  This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many FOR THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS.” (Matt 26:27-28 NIV, emphasis mine).  Jesus did not shed His precious blood for any other reason than to cover your sins.)

In compliance with the sacred scriptures written in Ephesians 3:10, I, on behalf of the Church of Jesus Christ, make known the manifold wisdom of God to the principalities and powers in the Heavenly places. I say to you, evil spirits of darkness, that the reign you have usurped over the creation and over the nations of the world since the Garden of Eden is hereby coming to an end. The wisdom of God declares that His Kingdom is coming and that His will shall be done here on earth as it is in Heaven. Your dominion is coming to an end, replaced by the godly dominion of those who are born again children of the last Adam, Jesus Christ.

(My note:  Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth HAS BEEN GIVEN TO ME.”  (Matt 28:18 NIV, emphasis mine)  According to scripture, the authority already belongs to Jesus.  Exactly whose authority is Wagner trying to usurp?)

As a key part of bringing this about, God has declared through His prophets that the wealth of the wicked will be released to the Kingdom of God. Powers of darkness will diminish and powers of light will flourish. I declare this to the principalities and powers who have been agents of Satan to obstruct this transfer of wealth for too long: Your time is up! Your evil powers are broken! By the blood of Jesus Christ, I declare that your wicked powers are demolished! I take the apostolic authority that has been given me and I bind you! What is bound on earth will be bound in Heaven. Let go of the wealth of the nations! I loose this wealth for the Kingdom of God. What has been loosed on earth will be loosed in Heaven!

(My note:  Again, the devil took Him to a very high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor.  “All this I will give you,” he said, “if you will bow down and worship me.”  Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve Him only.” (Matt 4:8-10 NIV)

“No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other.  YOU CANNOT SERVE BOTH GOD AND MONEY.” (Matt 6: 24 NIV, emphasis mine)

I declare that this wealth will be distributed for the extension of the Kingdom of God by the apostles that God has set in the church. I consecrate these chosen apostles. Two days ago I completed the formation of an apostolic council of 48. These experienced men and women have passed the tests of giftedness, effectiveness, leadership, and exemplary character. I speak specifically to Mammon, you vile and destructive demonic principality, and I say you will keep your hands off these 48 chosen ones. Neither greed nor covetousness nor parsimony nor self-reliance will be able to influence God’s chosen and anointed ones. They, among many others like them, will be mighty agents of God for the transformation of society. They will lead the way in restoring the rightful dominion and stewardship over God’s creation that was lost by our forefather, the first Adam.

(My note:  This is from the prayer Jesus prayed for His disciples:  “I pray for them. I AM NOT PRAYING FOR THE WORLD,  but for those You have given me, for they are Yours.”(John 17:9 NIV, emphasis mine)  The idea that God is trying to transform society and take back creation is utterly false.  As Peter wrote in 2 Peter 3, this world is slated for destruction by fire.  The Bible makes clear that God has no desire to “fix” this earth, but to rescue souls from His Wrath through the blood of Jesus.  Jesus answered it most clearly in John 19 verse 36, “My kingdom is not of this world.”)

I decree that vast amounts of wealth will be released supernaturally, even from godless and pagan sources. I decree that large numbers of God’s chosen people will be empowered in fresh and creative ways to gain wealth according to Deuteronomy 8:18. New inventions will multiply. Disruptive technologies will change the life patterns of the whole human race. The earth will disgorge vast riches of hidden resources. These will be entrusted to God’s agents. Profits will increase exponentially.

(My note:  The “godless and pagan sources” Wagner speaks of have, in the past few years, centered on a prophesied “revaluation of the Iraq dinar”.    When Jesus needed money to pay the temple tax, He sent Peter out to catch a fish.  In the mouth of that fish, Jesus told Peter he would find a four drachma coin to pay for both their taxes.  (see Matthew 17)  The obvious point here is that the Bible shows that God meets the needs of His people.  Jesus could have produced a million drachmas from the mouth of the fish.  He didn’t.  The desire for great wealth for any purpose is idolatry.)

The enemy’s camp will be plundered. The forces of darkness will be in disarray, and they will retreat. Jesus will be exalted in nation after nation. Righteousness and justice will sweep the earth as a tsunami. Resistance will be impossible. Jesus will put all things under His feet. He will deliver the Kingdom to God the Father. The prayer that Jesus taught us will be answered. “Your Kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven!”

It is spoken. So may it come to pass! Amen and amen!

A few years ago, I began hearing “word” from a “prophetic” church in our area about this great investment in the Iraq Dinar and how God was going to “fund His Kingdom” through it.  Many people followed the pastor’s advice and purchased the dinar.  The promise was oh-so-enticing.  I heard boasting of expected returns from a 100% to 1000%.

I was told that “everyone” was investing in this, that I better hurry so that I didn’t miss out, and that the “prophesies” about the Iraq Dinar were coming from the highest rungs of the church!

When I questioned the church’s leadership, I was scoffed at.  “The dinar is the only hope these people have” was the response.  My only hope is in Jesus Christ and Him crucified.  If your only “hope” is the foreign currency of a third world country, I pray for you.

A bit of explanation of the Iraq Dinar:

The Iraq Dinar is “pegged” to the US dollar and has been for years.  It trades around 1,170 dinars per $1.00 US.  Following is a 5 year chart of the dinar to the US dollar taken of Yahoo Finance:

This means that the dinar moves directly with the dollar.  The Iraq Dinar is not a market traded currency.  In other words, you must directly purchase dinar for US dollars from a trader to own them.  Traders take up to 20% off the top of the investment to make this trade.  It works like this:

You give the trader $1,000 US dollars. He gives you $800 US dollars worth of dinar. (Today, 10/4/12, they are trading for 1,165…so you would receive 932,000 dinar.  You are almost a “dinar”ionare!  Of course, you have an asset that you can’t sell in the market and is only worth $800 US).  The trader has made $200.  You receive a wallet full of dinar.

If you want to sell the dinar, you only have $800 US worth of them to sell.  You go back to the trader who will happily make this transaction, for a fee.  You end up with something less than $800 US).  But, hey, you got to carry around wads of Iraqi money to impress your friends.

Scam artists claim that the Dinar is going to be “unpegged” from the dollar and revalued.  They will tell you that the Iraq government will set the value of the dinar close to the value of a dollar, making your 932,000 dinars worth $932,000 US.  Now you are almost a millionaire! The fact that this appeals to anyone is telling in and of itself.

The state of Utah warned about the Iraq Dinar Revaluation as a scam in 2006:

Of course, false prophets are put here for no other reason than to deceive and lead astray.  Consider the first paragraph of prophecy from April 28, 2012, from Kim Clement:

4/28/2012
From The Den

April 28, 2012 – From The Den

Elijah saw the cloud the size of a man’s hand. This is what happened, and it’s important for all of you watching, for your own prosperity in the next seven years, starting almost immediately, that you listen and be patient. Remember what I taught you the other day; I said by patience you must possess your soul. In other words, don’t let your soul get disrupted when something doesn’t happen when you want it to happen. We heard about Firepointe; we heard about Ford – we heard about lots of things and some people are getting impatient (the Iraqi denar). These things happen in time. Obviously, there are moments where God says this is going to be released now, but this is what happened with Elijah. Elijah heard the sound of abundance. There were no clouds; there was no sign of abundance. He heard the sound; then he said to his servant, “Go and look until you see it.” Here comes the optical fusion. The servant went looking six times. You know he could have come back the fifth time and Elijah could have said just forget it! Six times he ran back and forth, and Elijah said, “Go back.” On the seventh – and you can take a little sign from this. I’m a little crafty sometimes, but I have to do it because I can’t tell you directly because the law prohibits me from doing it on this show. Seven times; the seventh time he saw a cloud the size of a man’s hand. (emphasis mine)

You can read the rest of the prophesy here:

http://kimclementvault.com/prophecyread.asp?num=535

Some people are getting impatient.   The dinar hasn’t revalued yet!   Some of these people have been waiting for years.  I have heard stories of homes lost and lives disrupted.  I pray that these folks repent of this madness and come back to the Truth of the Word of God.  If you have a pastor who has pushed this nonsense…RUN FOR THE DOOR AND DON’T LOOK BACK.

In the book of Revelation chapter 16 speaks of evil spirits that look like frogs:

The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up to prepare the way for the kings from the East.  THEN I SAW THREE EVIL SPIRITS THAT LOOKED LIKE FROGS; they came out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet.  They are spirits of demons performing miraculous signs, and they go out to the kings of the whole world, to gather them for the battle on the great day of God Almighty. (Rev 16:12-14 NIV, my emphasis)

This is Ch’an Chu, the Lucky Money Frog with three legs.  “Idols” like this have been used in China for thousands of years in hopes of good health and prosperity.

It is an image of the health and wealth gospel.  It is the garbage coming out of the mouths of people like C. Peter Wagner and Kim Clement, just as the Bible says it would.

The Lucky Money Frog has many meanings for the Chinese. Symbolically speaking, it is the embodiment of the yin concept, the immortal moon goddess. The moon goddess is what gives Ch’an Chu its form, and the lunar symbols such as the gems on his back (which resemble the dipper) and his three legs (which represent three lunar phases). And according to tradition, during a full moon the king money frog will appear near houses in which good news will soon be received. The ancient round I-Ching coins are also an important part of this tradition, and Anjian Australia Feng-Shui experts claim that the “ancient Chinese coins have been used for centuries as amulets to ward off evil and disease.”

Beware of sin that so easily entangles and resist those who peddle it:

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.  Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.  Consider Him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. (Heb 12:1-3 NIV)

  1. I will be watching this. I know some people who are into the prophetic that Wagner is into. Ray Hughes was in our area just this last weekend and he spoke about a new sound that is going to set people free. It’s always something new isn’t it?

  2. Thanks for sharing these insights. Strange things are happening in the Body of Messiah. We need to stay true to the Scriptures.

  3. This is exactly why I don’t listen to any more prophetic bull honky. Jesus said “I have told you this in advance” so I don’t need anyone else telling me something different that doesn’t line up with God’s word. John Paul Jackson’s ‘perfect storm’ is being revved up. blah blah blah, all the while, his followers haven’t questioned him as to why the so called things God showed him haven’t come to pass….like the riots in 2012 that are supposed to be worse than RWANDA! well, i suppose we have 2 in a half more months to wait on that.

Not exactly the same thing and since scripture interprets itself – we do not build a doctrine or belief on one verse – please expound on how the claims of proven false prophets could be biblical. Since Jesus and his disciples owned little to nothing while here on this earth, how is it WE deserve more? C’mon, wake-up.

    IRAQI DINAR RV SUDDENLY!!!

    FEBRUARY 3, 2012

A friend of mine, John Y. sent me this info below this morning. We get lots of info daily but this info seemed to resonate with me, especially the phrase that he highlighted. In the translation from Arabic to English is a word the Spirit seemed to emphasize to me, “Suddenly.” We are saying nothing more than confirming what the Spirit is saying. We are watching and expecting.

January 9, 2012 we announced by the Spirit “NO MORE DELAY!!” as we were able to interpret the news events of the day prophetically. It had been announce that White House Chief of Staff – William Deley was resigning and would be out by the end of the month. I immediately saw and heard in the Spirit, “NO MORE DELAY!!”. We posted the prophetic word. Here are a few excerpts from what Eye saw and heard the Spirit was saying January 9, 2012:

“The restrictions have been removed, the delays have ended; by the end of the month there will be a major shift in finances. All the hindrances and Delays are gone. Removing Daley is a sign in the political world of what I AM doing on every level.

Personally, prepare and position yourself spiritually, emotionally, mentally and as much possible financially over the next (3) months. 2012 will seem like a great paradox. The transitioning from the old order to the new order will present a challenge for many, while a blessing for others. Resources and finances that have been tied up or delayed can now be released. No More Delay!! The Financial and Banking system is due for a major overhaul that shall appear to happen suddenly.

Eye am hearing the word ‘Suddenly’ again and again. This will be the year of ‘Sudden Moments,’ ‘Sudden Changes.’ William Daley has been removed and he will be out by the end of the month. Does this signal that there is NO MORE DELAY for the ReValue (RV), Global Settlements, Prosperity Packages…?”

Prophet Mohammed’s Birthday is celebrated on February 4, 2012 by the Sunni Muslims and February 9, 2012 by the Shia (Shiite) Muslims. Could these days be significant?

    • I just want to add here, that the basis of these false prophesies in the areas of blessings, prosperity, break-through, suddenlies, repositioning, transitioning, shift, atmosphere, and many other buzz words are not new ones. These thoughts and ideas have been around a long time and are only being regurgitated because they (the spewers) have run out of new ideas.

On another note, I for one can attest to similar prophecies from Kim Clement when I “followed him” several years ago. I was on the man’s stage, face to face, eye to eye. He is a very convincing false prophet, and I will tell you one thing further. There are times when his personal “words” are right on target. This does NOT mean he is hearing from God, but from a familiar spirit who is a demon.

  7. If a prophet, or one who foretells by dreams, appears among you and announces to you a miraculous sign or wonder, and if the sign or wonder of which he has spoken takes place, and he says, “Let us follow other gods” (gods you have not known) “and let us worship them”, you must not listen to the words of that prophet or dreamer. The LORD your God is testing you to find out whether you love Him with all your heart and with all your soul. It is the LORD your God you must follow, and Him you must revere. (Det 13:1-4)

“gods you have not known”…like familiar spirits who are demons maybe, or foreign currencies of third world countries (“go dinar”?), or false prophets who like the spotlight.

My experience with false prophets is that, at least 90% of the time, they tell you exactly what you WANT to hear with just enough detail mixed in to make it convincing. That is a major test of a person’s heart and very deceptive, indeed. I have a friend who is very deceived by Kim Clement right now, and how I pray that God open her eyes.

    • That was the same scripture I had in mind last night but was far too tired to look it up.

The bottom line to all of this is not whether or not wealth is to be found in these investment plans. Who are you putting your trust IN? Money, the economy, the next election or the great sounding promises of a well known “prophet” (not). Christians, followers, disciples of Christ put their hope in the Lord, not in the word of man or in riches to come. Our lives should be laid down, grounded in Him for He alone rules, whatever the outcome.

  9. 20 He who walks with wise men will be wise,
But the companion of fools will suffer harm.
    21 Adversity pursues sinners,

And the wealth of the sinner is stored up for the righteous.
23 Abundant food is in the fallow ground of the poor,
But it is swept away by injustice. Proverbs 13

There is no biblical reason to think that verse 22 has anything to do with an end time global transfer of wealth to Christians. The book of proverbs are observations about what the writer has seen. Yes, he indicates the faithfulness of God to meet the righteous person’s needs, just as he indicates wise things to do and foolish things to do. They are not promises. They are the observations of a wise person.

If they are promises, is God promising that the poor will be swept away by injustice, or is the writer sharing his observations about the world around him?

  10. How about, “Give us this day our DAILY BREAD”?

We live in one of the richest countries ever to exist on the planet. When the “prophets” speak of “wealth transfer”, do they consider this? The poorest people in both America and the Western economies live vastly better lives than the majority of people anywhere else. The kind of people who have money to invest in a 3rd world currency are not wondering where their “daily bread” is coming from.

“But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that. People who want to get rich FALL INTO TEMPTATION AND A TRAP and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.” (1 Tim 6:6-10)

You cannot square the prosperity gospel in all its many forms with the gospel.

Proverbs 13:11 has another little gem that hits directly at this:

“Dishonest money dwindles away, but he who gathers money little by little makes it grow.”

This speaks to prudently saving and not being wasteful with what you’ve been given. It certainly speaks against some great “end time” windfall. Its so important that we get the full counsel of God in interpreting scripture, isn’t it?

Daystar’s 24/7 webcam pointed at the Mount of Olives to catch the return of Jesus. Well, I guess now Jesus can return!

So God can revalue the iraqi dinar, make all His followers rich, descend down the Mount of Olives while the world watches from a PC, and rule the world that His followers have wrestled away from satan for Him. Not to be outdone,TBN has purchased land at the foot of the Mount of Olives to broadcast this big event. Elijah’s list has a big announcement about it today!!!! They even quoted the LA Times!

(Jerusalem, Israel)—According to news reports, America’s two biggest Christian broadcasters have positioned themselves to catch any Messianic action on the Mount of Olives, such as is described in the Bible of Jesus’ return. (Edmund Sanders, Los Angeles Times / October 1, 2012)

    http://www.breakingchristiannews.com/articles/display_art.html?ID=10630

Have a feeling we are getting closer to the man of perdition?

When Jesus returns, it will be on the clouds with an army of angels, such that the entire world can witness it….not just those with an internet connection.

“At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory. And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.” (Mat 24:30-31)

Anything less than that, and we will be looking at the final anti-christ.

  12. For Woody Bailey and anyone else wanting to keep an eye out for this:

My experience is that church leadership is being very careful with how they talk about the dinar. You will hear a lot of “prophecy” about a “great end-time wealth transfer” and other such silliness, but these people know only too well that they could be held legally liable for outright recommendation of the “dinar” as an investment. In America, we have laws which would prohibit someone in an “official” capacity or leadership roll making investment advice without certain liscensing.

I know someone who confronted a “prophetic” pastor over the dinar. This person was asked whether the advice to purchase the dinar was given by the pastor in his “offical capacity” (i.e,. while he was on stage “pastoring”) or not? In other words, she was told that as long as the advice was given “off-stage” so-to-speak, that it couldn’t be taken as an “offical prophecy” but just as his personal opinion. (Tell that to the people who lost their home.) This man claims to be a prophet and an end-time “apostle”. Does the “gift” of prophecy end when the music stops, the speaker system is turned off, and the house lights go on?

You are far more likely to hear the words “revalue” or “RV” or the old standby “wealth transfer”. People who leave these churches are, for the most part, terrified to speak out against the “anointed” pastor even once they leave the church.

My personal belief (and this is just my “off-stage” opinion), is that there are a handful of pastors who have taken a cut off the investment in return for funneling people to certain “traders”. That said, I believe most people are just greedy for money and deceived.

In either case, God will have the last word on this and all things. I’m just hoping for some folks to repent and get away from it.

  13. In Luke 10:30-37, Jesus tells us the often-repeated story of the Good Samaritan. Most of the time, I think we interpret this in terms of helping those in need physically…food, clothing, etc. But, those souls the LORD is calling out of the swamp of false teaching are just like the man who fell into the hands of robbers on his way from Jerusalem to Jericho. They have been stripped of their clothes (righteousness in Jesus), beaten and left half dead.

Jesus tells us that the priest sees this beaten, naked man and simply passes by on the other side. The Levite, likewise, does the same. It takes a Samaritan, rejected by the Jews as something of a half-breed, to help this poor man.

“But a Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him. He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, took him to an inn and took care of him.” (Luke 10: 33-34)

I heard this story repeated last night and was reminded that the only true healing a person can ever receive will come through the gospel of Jesus Christ and Him crucified. It is a simple message that cuts all of this false teaching to the heart. It is fresh linen for wounds, oil and wine; and it is free. How amazing is that!

  14. I beleive that our heavenly father has given insight into a future event concerning the dinar. its happening on the other side of the world not just in America.
Money isnt evil and the ” church” needs provisioning. I have had very specific dreams about this well before I knew about the Dinar. It is not for everyone so just leave to those who are willing and leave it alone.
A word of caution to those of you who are bagging the prophetic- If the word you are criticising is from the lord then you are showing substantial disrespect to the lord you serve and frustrating the kingdom. You have to be very careful with this. You must know by the spirit that it is not of God before opening your mouth and causing trouble. Otherwise you may be an unwitting tool of the enemy. many have done this throughout the years. Pharisees comes to mind.
To those who say a prophetic person has a familiar demonic spirit then you had better be right about that otherwise you are accusing the Holy spirit of being Satan. You will not go un – judged for that especially if it hinders the work of the Holy spirit in building the kingdom. Be careful you arm chair preachers who criticize and judge . It is Gods job to judge not ours. Be part of the solution not the problem.

    • Grant, I, and many of my readers here know first hand there is a demonic spirit in operation and that demon is referred to as the Holy Spirit. The church is in a great deal of danger because they enjoy the words and claim of men and women rather than the truth of the bible. If you want to know how the Holy Spirit operates in the lives of a believer, read the words of Jesus in John 14, 15, 16. You will not find anything closely resembling what goes on in “charismania”.

  15. Grant,
I don’t doubt that you have had dreams regarding the dinar, but we are admonished in scripture to test everything. If you test them, you will discover that they do not line up with the truth of scripture.

Those causing trouble are those who are spreading false prophesies in the name of Jesus. We hold up these lies to the truth of scripture, in the hopes that other people will not be deceived by them.

What “provisioning” did the church ever need? The apostles collected money and distributed it to fellow brothers and sisters in Christ who were in need. The earth and everything in it already belong to the Sovereign LORD. He does not need us to fund His church. We are blessed that He allows us to reach out to others in His Name and share in His harvest, the work of a heart changed by Christ Jesus.

I know people who have been “waiting” on this “prophecy” for nearly 3 years, strung along weekly and monthly with false messages that it will occur any time now. I know of several families who have lost their homes while they invested their money in the dinar. Does that sound like God to you?

    Like

    • I wouldn’t imagine God asking anyone to string themselves out like that, they did it themselves. Cant blame God for that. They probably just went too far thats all.
Regarding waiting for the event – The incorrect speculation of others doesn’t make the investing in Dinar or the event outcome evil. Its just simply buying another currency of a country that is being be re built. This takes time. People get impatient. Most countries that go through war devalue then re appreciate later on as they rebuild. It isnt rocket science.
Dont read too much into all this. Iraq is not the Babylon in revelation.

Regarding provision. Of course the kingdom needs provisioning. It has always needed provisioning. Bills have to be paid, we are not supposed to be bludgers but blessed. The head not the tail.
Where did the money come from to be distributed in the new testament? From traders, workers, anyone really. They had to get it somehow, they didn’t have social welfare. No hand outs for the givers but blessings in their activities to be able to give. The poor got the handouts God helps us in this in many different ways. We are not supposed to sit around with our arms folded.
Your statement sounds like a social welfare system at work. The money has to be earned or gathered before it is given to the church for distribution. Do you think that The Lord leaves that bit out and dosent help us in this?

  16. Grant,
This is NOT an ordinary investment when the prophet is telling the people in his charge that God is going to “fund His Kingdom” through it and encouraging even the poorest in his church to buy whatever they can. You, yourself, claim to have received revelation through dreams regarding the dinar.

You are dancing around a golden calf of the church’s making.

In the church I know they are praying about the dinar. One man even pulls out a huge pile of dinar in church and runs around showing it off to people and telling them how God is going to make him rich off of it. (all so he can help others, of course)

Btw, I don’t blame God for any of it; but I understand that the church is filled with false prophets spewing out lies to people who do not know enough to test anything. I pray that God open their eyes before it is too late, as I do for you also.

    • Well if the Dinar goes up like some expect it wont be an ordinary investment but at the moment its relatively ordinary. Although it has improved in value a fair bit since the introduction of new notes following the US lead invasion some years back. Started at 4000 IQD :1 USD and is now sitting at around 1170 IQD :1 USD. So it has been rising quietly over the years.

The hype is being generated by people who do unfortunately behave inappropriately. In This I will absolutely agree. It can be very vulgar. The evil in this is the deception by dealers etc and gloating by those that strive after the easy riches. This has nothing to do with the increase in value of a countries currency. The Demonic can climb all over this because of peoples weaknesses and so expose chinks in their amour which you are observing.

If the Lord wants to give some people a heads up on something then thats fine and is his business. That should not attract attention as it is private. I know plenty of people who are helped by the Holy Spirit every day in many different areas. I also know some very good honest people who have heard directly from the Lord about this for specific reasons. The matter has been well tested by many witnesses to determine the source and accuracy.

The problem arises when people talk out of turn and blah blah and vomit stuff out of their mouth about it when they shouldnt as you rightly suggested. I agree with that. However in respect to The Lord helping his people with investments or any aspect of life then that has validity which others have no right to challenge. I have pages and pages of prophetic insight into this investment for me and how to go about it. The information I have is not for others but for me. The Lord is not going out there and advertsing this. People are doing that inappropriately.

I dont know how you live or outwork your faith or how you hear from The Lord but I say this with respect, it is not for you to decide who is hearing and if they are hearing correctly unless you have a very specific and direct word of knowledge about it from the Holy Spirit. The Word of God ( Holy Bible) cannot tell you this information unless it directly and clearly contravenes the Word. The accuracy required to further investigate needs to come from The Holy Spirit directly. And then it is He who informs the person what to do about it if anything.
There is demonic activity everywhere in this world and I agree with you in this, so we do have to be careful when we weigh up a matter so we do not get it wrong. Its very important that we dont get it wrong and throw out the baby with the bath water. For your own sake be careful.
The Lord makes it very plain not to judge and not to harbor un-forgiveness.

And for the record I understand your position and might otherwise be inclined to side with you somewhat as one looking at it from the outside as it has unfortunately being tainted by the actions of others, but I have tested this matter and for a number of years and sit comfortably that I have done my best and in faith. And I am happy for you to pray for me to have my eyes opened so I can see more clearly. I need this like the next man. As Paul said we currently see through a glass dimly.

God bless you and I apologise to you if I seemed a bit harsh in prior conversations.

      • If we are called to test and judge all things, and we are, how is it one tests a prophetic word related to financial investments and find it to be true through the use of the word of God? What scriptures do we refer to? This sounds a bit Pat Robertson-ish to me. Any time a well known false prophet jumps on something it is a huge warning sign. This is where Kim Clement steps in and he is known to jump in on many pressing issues. I used to follow him and believe him to be a valid prophet. He is not. Many people claim the Lord speaks to them and I believe there are times this can be true. But His speaking will always resound in the word of God – theology, our doctrine, and I just don’t know of any investment type scriptures. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. 17. Just a reflection, as this nation is mourning a tragedy that is so utterly unthinkable….
My heart just breaks into a thousand pieces, and I wish there was something more than praying that I could do.

Jesus taught us not to be concerned with the things of this world, be they clothes or food or whatever. Our Heavenly Father knows what we need. We are to seek first His Kingdom and His Righteousness; and He will provide for us. I am grateful that my family has food and clothes and a roof over our head. On this night, in particular, I am so very grateful that my 6 year old is safe here with me and I can hug him and tuck him in bed. And I ache unbelievably for those who have lost this.

I know that God is hearing every single prayer lifted up to him for these families in Conneticut, and all of those around the world who are hurting. To those who are praying over things like the dinar, do you understand how quickly the LORD is going to vomit that out of His mouth. It is a stench in the church.

To ANYONE who wants to defend dinar prophesies, I implore you to look around for just a moment at a dying world. I challenge you to stop taking any consideration for your pocketbook and your future wealth; and start crying out from the heart for all those who are suffering, first and foremost that they would hear the gospel of truth and be kept safely in it.

  18. The dinar has been sitting at 1170 per dollar for years.

The “prophesies” regarding it have been stringing people along for at least 3 years that I am aware of. Two years ago, I sat in the home of a friend whose mother is deeply into this and has been encouraging others as “it is from the LORD” and “everyone is doing it” and “God is going to fund His Kingdom” and “you don’t want to miss this”. Blah, blah, blah. The dinar was at 1170 two years ago and it hasn’t moved an iota, so-to-speak. She informed me that the “top” rungs of the “prophetic” church were sending messages out about this and that it was going to come very soon, like any day now (that was 2 years ago). I informed her that their were people within the church who were profiting from the 15-20% charge that a person pays to buy the dinar, which is not a market traded currency. I was attacked and shunned (and continue to be to this day) for taking a stand against it.

God could have answered the “any day now” bit two years ago and validated the words of the “prophet”. He didn’t. He chose to leave the dinar where it was at; and allow several people to go through some very difficult times. Some of those people have left that church. In that, I thank God for the dinar and all the false “prophesies” about it; and in that, I see His Hand.

If God wants to prosper you financially through the dinar, then He will. If he wants to drive you away from lies and greed through it, then He will. My hope is for the second.

  19. Someone in the crowd said to him, “Teacher, tell my brother to divide the inheritance with me.” (Luke 12:13)

That sounds reasonable, right? This man had a greedy brother, and he was taking everything and leaving nothing for his brother. The man wasn’t asking for everything, after all, just a fair portion. Wouldn’t that make you angry?

But Jesus was having NOTHING to do with it.

Jesus replied, “Man, who appointed me a judge or an arbiter between you?” Then he said to them, “Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; a man’s life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.” (Luke 12: 14-15)

The same Jesus who rebuked the man for asking for a share of the inheritance, is the same Jesus who is telling each and every one of us to be on our guard against greed.

Who does a prophecy about a great investment scheme appeal to?

It appeals to the same sort who are moved by the wof falsehood of tything so that God will prosper you. God, who knows and tests the heart, gets the difference between giving in love and giving to “get more” from Him.

What do frogs do? They eat flies. Satan is the Lord of the Flies (Be’ezelbub). (Rev 16:13)

“Then I saw three evil spirits that looked like frogs; they came out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. They are the spirits of demons performing miraculous signs, and they go out to the kings of the whole world, to gather them for the battle on the great day of God Almighty.” (Rev16: 13-14)

  20. Grant said, “The matter has been well tested by many witnesses to determine the source and accuracy.”

One third of the angels of heaven gave witness that satan was going to rise above the Most High and defeat God. Those “many witnesses” are held in gloomy dungeons until the day of Judgment when they will be thrown into the eternal fire. “Many witnesses” is absolutely no comfort to me. The Word of God made flesh is my Comfort.

You also said, “The Lord makes it very plain not to judge and not to harbor un-forgiveness.”

We are admonished in scripture to test everything. When we test something, and discover that it doesn’t hold up to scripture; then we are to contend for the faith, once and for all delivered to the saints. We are to point out false teachers and false gospels and false prophecy in the hopes that others will not stumble into their pits.

The LORD makes it plain not to judge hypocritically; if I was invested in the dinar or believing Kim Clement to be a prophet (or if I believed God was telling me what stocks to pick), then I would be a hypocrite to say anything to anyone else. BUT, if we see others heading for the snake pits unaware and cry out in warning to them; we are acting in love. Judgment simply watches them fall in and thinks that they had it coming.

As far as forgiveness, I agree with you wholeheartedly.

    • Former TCU star center, 67-year-old Eldon Gresham Jr., pleads guilty to swindling investors out of $15.8 million

That clip at right comes from The Dallas Morning News‘ May 16, 1968, edition — back when Eldon Gresham Jr. was a star center for the TCU Horned Frogs. Now, he’s an admitted felon looking at prison time, a quarter-million fine and $15.8 million in restitution.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office sends word that Gresham, now 67, pleaded guilty in a Dallas federal courtroom at the end of last week to a single count of mail fraud that cost investors many millions of dollars. According to court documents, from January 2004 through June ’09, Gresham rounded up people in Texas and California and Georgia and Kentucky and Tennessee — most of them quite elderly — who were interested in investing in a foreign currency exchange business called The Gresham Company, appropriately, which was based out of Peachtree City, Georgia.

Initially, he “had no intent to defraud or deceive any investor,” according to the factual resume accompanying the plea agreement. But the longer it went, the worse it got, and “rather than truthfully disclose the lack of investment profits to investors,” say court documents, “Gresham falsely represented inflated profits to investors.”

And on and on it went, till he’d built himself quite the Ponzi scheme. Even worse, say the feds today:

Gresham specifically targeted members of the Christian faith as potential investors, knowing that many of these Christian investors were elderly and particularly vulnerable to his scheme. He induced Christians to give him funds for investment by telling them that his success in currency trading was a blessing and gift from God, which Gresham considered to be “his ministry.” He also persuaded Christian investors to give him funds by telling them that the investors could later use investment profits to further God’s works.

Now his fate’s in the hands of U.S. District Judge Jorge A. Solis. A sentencing date has not been set.

Gresham, incidentally, chose to represent himself, which was allowed following a competency hearing. Because Gresham insisted he didn’t do anything wrong, telling the Star-Telegram, “I awakened from a bad dream. I just didn’t fully realize what had taken place, and I kept thinking it’s going to come back around. I thought I was going to make up all the losses.”

      ******
I had the same thoughts of a swindler when I saw the 700 Club come on the tv the other day at the gym. It just goes on and on.

  21. Wow! As I read his “declaration” I almost had to laugh, mostly at myself. I never really followed him but I could see my old “pastor” saying these things. I cannot believe I used to believe this stuff. It’s just too weird for words. It may even be more strange than the New Age junk I used to believe. However, it’s worse in that the Word of God is perverted. My their eyes be opened, they repent of their sin and turn to the Truth and be reconciled.

Remember, “God” was going to “fund his kingdom” through the “Iraqi dinar”.

Praying for Christians in Iraq…that God would protect them and keep them safely in His Word this season and always.

    • Terry, overall, it is believed that the entire monetary system in the US and in the world will cease to exist. One day we will be required to take a mark either on the forehead or on the right hand to buy or sell. Without that mark commerce will cease, public and private. It will be a dangerous time, a time warned of in the bible.
