The man, John Paul Jackson,who I once took my dream interpretation training from has passed away. The man was a proven false teacher and false prophet, and I am floored and grieved at this news. And unless he repented and found the truth, he stood before God in judgement, without Christ.

Unfortunately, his work in deceiving masses will continue. Please be aware of who you follow and test everything through the perfect teaching of the bible, which will never fail us.

        Hi at least initially there was question whether she was actually murdered rather than a suicide. It’s even darker than what the show appears to have showed. I havent seen the show yet but will look it up. Not only that but there was a question whether she was having sexual relations with several of the young men in a commune type of living situation. They were not directly with I Hop as I recall but there was a definite connection of some type. There are some articles online about it.
        
        I know it’s grisly but many supposed suicides are actually murders. This applies also to celebrities and many others.

The IHOP staff member who, (by Bickle’s own admission) rather coerced the confession from Micah Moore, (becasue a murder confession put blame on someone and fixed the issue IHOP explained) and is NOW at this time in the WITNESS PROTECTION program!! Her name is Shelley Hundley and you can google that info and read Boze Herrington’s blogs about it as well (He was the fellow also interviewed in 48 hours)…there are so many things not adding up to the police and others that it is only a matter of time before the house comes crashing to the ground. Which poses the dilemma for the rest of us…do we rather expose the heresies and dangers of this horrifically growing cult, and it’s many tenacles and associations such as YWAM, Aquire the Fire, etc etc., Or do we choose to remain in passive support (by not taking a stand against them) and continue riding it to the bottom. Your suspicion is correct….tell everyone you love to RUN!!! The Rolling Stone wrote 3 very good and more indepth articles about this whole mess (becasue they did not worry about judging a so called christian group…a spade is a spade is a spade).

        The organizations that are mentioned here – International House of Prayer, Youth With A Mission, Acquire the Fire, to that I will add The Call and Bethel – ANY organization that comes with the name of the Lord and claims that there is a special calling on the youth – BEWARE AND DO NOT LET YOUR CHILD CLOSE TO THEM. They are cults and seeking to destroy your relationship with you and your child. They will convince the child that they do not need the parent, that they will be parented and brought up to serve the Lord. My daughter was nearly a part of ATF and I was dumb enough to think they were right and holy before God. None of them are what they seem to be. God made parents for a reason and no one has the place to get in between that God ordained relationship.

I’ve been off line for a few days, but there it was…I have to wonder when all of these people who believe in absolute healing in the atonement will wake up and realize it’s just a lie that will take them to the grave? Name it and claim it word of faith healing does not come from God’s word. It comes from the occult. And these so called great faith healers die from disease and illness all the time. It’s simple to see when the blinders come off, so take them off – International Association of Healing – lies, lies…God’s people perish from lack of knowledge…and unfortunately they often choose to be blind to their own demise.

What happens when people stop taking meds that they need? They get worse. They die. This is wrong – period. Many meds are highly addictive. Side effects are often diagnosed as an illness. Doctors are in many cases like legal drug pushers. Are there times medications are truly needed and warranted?
      Yes. Definitely. However there are also many people being prescribed medications that are not safe. The tests done for the FDA are paid for by those who profit from the new medication sales. Often test results are skewed or
      not fully reported in medical journals. Tests are sometimes only 3 weeks and the long term effects not known until the people who take the drug develop serious and sometimes fatal effects.
      
      So it’s best not to be naive as we were told “the doctor will tell you when it’s safe to go off your medication” etc. Well the doctor may not know and is not always hearing from God. Be careful.

John Paul Jackson spent some time in my home town many years ago, maybe 22 years, at the conception of the Vineyard church here as part of it’s planting. I remember his eyes – you felt like they were boring a hole through your spirit, he was scary to me but I thought it was God – deception is strong and controlling. I spent years and years involved in this doctrine. God began showing me, I began intensely studying the Word of God, and found doctrines of demons were being taught. It grieved me very deeply, I went through a time of mourning and loss, followed by God moving me.
  The thing is, you think you are free, you think you know grace and mercy and you think you have more understanding, only to find out you are in death, bondage, and deception so huge the smartest people you know are deceived. I thank God he moved me, and more and more I thought was truth is shown to be false.   It took me two years of really seeking truth and discovering how flawed my doctrine was before I could make the move. I look at those who refuse to see, who still think laying on graves of dead saints will give them a stronger anointing, who run to Prophets to give them a word instead of running to the Word of God (which is faith, right? How much faith is it when you run the “Christian” equivalent of a physic? Why do we allow people to touch us and lay hands on us who are probably filled with demons? God gave us the Holy Spirit and the ability to talk to Him and hear his voice through the word of God, not be a chaser of signs and wonders which are almost always false, but oh, how good a job that Satan does in deceiving the very elect, who sadly, aren’t the elect when they put their faith in man instead of the Father.
  I am so sad that I spent 40 years there and for all my friends who refuse to see the lies. Only the spirit of God can reveal it, and only if you seek God and ask Him to show you. – you have to want truth more than you want to chase after miracles, signs, wonders and prophecies. I am glad that I have understanding of deception and God can use me to help someone “think” and seek truth and get out of the deception that has so many bound in chains.
  
  The Bible tells us the last days will be filled with signs and wonders. Strangely, God doesn’t use them to draw disciples to Himself, but rather to deceive those who reject His Word and chase the miracles (Rev. 13:13-14; 16:14; 19:20). Please read every word in this end times prophecy- carefully: God will use signs and wonders in the last days to deceive the world.
  Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth . . . (2 Thess. 2:9-12).
  Pray for those who are lost in their doctrines of demons, to be free long enough to see, so they too, can realize that they have been part of the great deception of the end times, and get back to the truth of the Word of God.

    How do you recommend hearing from God? I know whatever we hear has to agree with the Bible. I also have heard the modern Bible translations have many problems with them. Supposedly the authorized King James is more accurate but it is harder to understand.
    
    What is your belief about Bible translations and about hearing from God on personal issues?
    
    Finally (sorry this is long…limited time)….do you include word of faith in the overall apostacy? What is your stand on word of faith?
    
    I’m still trying to sort this out as objectively as I can. I know there are serious problems with word of faith (although that is not exactly the same “camp” as you are talking about….it appears the group you came out of is somewhat worse in error.

We went, found him and after service he walked up to me and as soon as he went to talk to me and my husband I dropped straight down and grabbed his cowboy boots moaning “get it off of me” he did intense business at that alter I’m crying I’m sure people were staring or gasping and when we were threw the next afternoon I was laying in bed and felt a presence lightly leave my gut area threw the top of my head ( a evil sprite being) and I have never been sick since or at least not like that. I would say many are just very deceived, swept along with error and somehow personally benefiting from the whole mess

  The Bible does say when the anticrhist comes he will come with power and miracles. I’m not sure if these are real miracles, but their source and origin is Satan (or the occult) rather than Jesus, or if it means the miracles are fake
  ones that look powerful. I tend to believe the former.
  
  Not everything supernatural is from God, obviously there are real supernatural things but they come from the occult, from satan, or from his realm.
  
  I remember a lady who wrote about her involvement in some time of spiritism where she saw real healing…..but they were NOT from God….The name of her book is “The Beautiful Side of Evil” and her name is Joanna Michaelson
  (sorry don’t know the correct spelling). You can find her giving talks on you tube.
  
  What I have gathered from my studies is that a miracle or sign can be
  satanic rather than from God, and this seems to tend to deceive many people because people love to feel or see something spectacular. I think the Toronto

  There is always the possibility of a mix……..some good…….or that the people are actually saved but they are deceived. I agree there are plants that are deliberately leading Christians astray….involving new age, and other issues.
  
  We definitely have the responsibility and right to examine and test everything with the Word of God. We may not know the heart of the person but we can see when the fruit and the teachings, etc are going wrong.
  
  The compromise right now is horrible, Look what has happened in the mainline denominations, the gay issue, and of course these other groups. It seems to be accelerating at an alarming rate right now.
  
  If anyone here can recommend any solid ministries or churches I’d love to hear it.

That jogs my memory of when a fellow member of that cult I was in, kept having a recurring dream of dead babies laying all over the church floor.
One of the false prophets “interpreted” the dream to mean that many where being born into the kingdom, but losing their salvation due to a lack of discipleship.
This was about 5-6 years ago.
Since then that man and his wife started their own cult called the River and have had multiple miscarriages.
About a month ago, I watched a video of a black woman coming out of a crowd speaking in tongues with an interpretation. She said her gift of tongues came from the devil and whenever she spoke in that tongue and laid her hands on a pregnant woman she would miscarry.
I also distinctly remember another pregnant woman in that cultic church who had tongue speakers to lay hands on her stomach. Just a week or so later, she miscarried.

All this truly makes one wonder.

I will be happy to provide more information and to answer questions of why I believe the way I do regarding his teaching. I’ve already pointed out that I was under his teachings in my original post so there is your first clue that I am not just throwing accusations out there.

Many false teachers have come in the name of the Lord and they do much damage. We are told this in 2 Peter 2. Jesus said this would be a sign of his coming in Matthew 24, and often warned that we are to see to it that no one deceives us. He said that many times so it is worth paying attention to.

This is what we are up against now. And it is time to take these teachings to the bible to prove if they are right or if they are wrong. I was once a part of it all, and God in his great mercy and love pulled me out of it. This is why I blog – to help others see the truth and to escape or avoid the same error that I made. Just because someone comes in the name of the Lord and seems to know things, does not make that person a true believer. Thinking this was so was my first mistake. Don’t make it.

Test all things.

I quoted Scripture after Scripture, trying to convince her to no avail that people would mistake the church members for psychics. In that ninety minutes, I was also told that people didn’t need to believe in Christ; believing in an unnamed god was good enough. No Scripture could convince her otherwise. I decided then to leave permanently.

Looking back, I should have left when I noticed things like the unreasonable emphasis on dreams being taught to small children or the sermon when the pastor expounded on the idea that the real cause of sexual sin (and all sin) wasn’t lust but low self-esteem. My Bible told me the opposite. I suppose I stayed because I really wanted to believe I was at a Christian church, not a cult. I knew that prophecy was still a gift, so I ignored all the warning signs. The emotional and physical healing I experienced while there was also a big factor in not using the discernment I had.

Several friends have also left the church but most are still there, being wooed by false teachings from false teachers and prophets. The last I knew, a church is being constructed on land formerly used by Satanists in an attempt to “take back” the land for God. I recall going halfway up that dirt road once before turning around since I didn’t understand the reasoning for building a church there. It seemed that to me that demonic spirits were still fully entrenched on that land.

If this is what some call a modern movement of the great I AM, then my Bible is a book of lies.

DANIEL: (Daniel 1:17) “As for these four young men, God gave them knowledge and skill in all literature and wisdom; and Daniel had UNDERSTANDING in all VISIONS and DREAMS.” Prophetic dream and interpretation in Daniel 2, and other places. God gave this ability to Daniel. It’s something God wants people to understand, but due to some flakes in the world (JP NOT being one of them) some people throw up a wall as soon as the topic comes up — to their own loss of a beautiful gift of God.

(Daniel 5:12) “Inasmuch as an excellent spirit, knowledge, understanding, INTERPRETING DREAMS, solving riddles, and explaining enigmas were found in this Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar, now let Daniel be called, and he will give the interpretation.”

If God gives a gift (such as Daniel re: understanding dreams), we should not consider it wrong if that person tries to help others partake of the same understanding they have. That’s called being a good steward of the gift of God, and is indeed God’s vision for all ministers of the Gospel — to share what God has given them for the equipping of all believers (see Eph. 4:11-12).

(Acts 2:17-19) ‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God,
That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh;
Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
Your young men shall see VISIONS,
Your old men shall dream DREAMS.
18 And on My menservants and on My maidservants
I will pour out My Spirit in those days;
And they shall prophesy.
19 I will show WONDERS in heaven above
And signs in the earth beneath:
Blood and fire and vapor of smoke.

The scriptures are full of dreams, visions, and explanations of the same. I’ve listed just a few sample scriptures, but hopefully it’s enough for the readers of this blog to understand — we should not consider a believer “out of it” because he teaches on the topic of understanding dreams and visions. If God gives someone a dream, he obviously wants the individual to understand the meaning. John Paul Jackson helped people in that area, because very few other people were able to do this as well as He did, by the help of the Holy Spirit.

I know enough of John Paul to know he has a heart that loves Jesus as seen by the fruit of the Spirit, and the consequent fruit of his life … as seen within the lives of many who had the privilege to sit under his teaching.

No, I do not necessarily agree with everything he taught on some things (actually I can only think of one thing), nor am I familiar with every topic he taught on, but his teachings on understanding dreams and visions I have found very Biblical, and very helpful (with Godly fruit as a result) … His love for Christ and the body of Christ was clearly evident to me. His teaching on understanding dreams and visions was cherished and helpful to many, and resulted in many people delving deeper into a relationship with Christ as a result. I’d say that’s good fruit.

I was not going to bother replying, but I felt this is important to share. Go slowly before judging; meaning, before classifying someone as a false prophet. Yes, there are many false prophets out there — but from what I’ve seen of John Paul, he was a real prophet, not a false one.

I’m not exalting a man — I’m just observing what God has done in a man, and what he can do through others as well.

  Again…which sin is bigger, NOT exposing a person who has dangerous errors in his teaching causing the sheep to be confused, starved for truth and scattered, or calling out a teacher (whom his followershave assumed is anointed), because of his false doctrine and his practice of fleecing the flock? Read the story of Jonah as Christ Himself suggested and the rest of the prophets of the old testament, I assure you the answer is there in plain sight! 🙂

But JPJ held a conference at my church and at a certain point there was a time for prayer ministry. So as expected, he went out to lay hands on folks and prophecy. He came up to me specifically, grabbed my stomach without invitation and announced loudly in front of everyone that I should be healed of my eating disorder.

Problem was, I have never had an eating disorder. I have always been very thin, but extremely healthy with a fast metabolism. Always I have been able to eat whatever I want and have never had body image issues or serious health problems. My doctors have always found me to be very healthy (But it is common in my experience that people think a skinny girl must be anorexic or something, but it is not true).

Anyway, right when JPJ pronounced that I should be healed of my eating disorder, I said to him directly and firmly, “But I don’t have an eating disorder.” He looked at me stunned and froze a bit, but then he just turned and walked away to prophesy over someone else. He didn’t apologize, or ask questions, or SAY ANYTHING even to seek to clarify the situation. He just tried to pretend like it never happened.

Anyway, I knew after then that something was wrong with this guy – not just by the bold, and potentially hurtful, false public declaration he had made over me. Good thing I’m not insecure, or it would have been even more upsetting than it was. But the fact he was not even willing to talk to me about his pronouncement was a huge red flag. I never took him seriously after that.

But JPJ’s influence on my church remained strong for years (among other influences) and ultimately this particular church fell apart altogether and exists no more.

Even Jesus says that he didn’t trust himself to men because he knew what was in men(John 2:24-25). Instead, we should all fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him, endured the cross, scorning it’s shame and sat down at the right hand of God the Father. That is certainly enough for me.

lets examine what has been said here in this site, is it in line with the scripture?

do you know that we can murder people with our tongues, by assasinating their character. We need to look at ourselves first and see what our purpose and agendas are for every word that comes out of our mouths.

4 The one who despises those who are utterly wicked,
but who honors the one who fears the LORD,
who keeps his word even when it hurts and does not change,

when you see something that you feel is not correct or right, use that as a prayer point and pray to God our heavenly father to change them, to bring His glorious light into their lives.

God is love and God loves everyone, that’s why he sent his only son Jesus to die for us, as all have fallen short and all of us are in need of Jesus.

There is more to believers than a call to pray for others, there is also the command to search scriptures for truth, to warn others, to run from false teachers…have you not read these verses? How can you not? If you read the bible the word is full of them practically since the beginning. This is not slander!

  Death of the Man of God
  11 Now an old prophet dwelt in Bethel, and his sons came and told him all the works that the man of God had done that day in Bethel; they also told their father the words which he had spoken to the king. 12 And their father said to them, “Which way did he go?” For his sons had seen[a] which way the man of God went who came from Judah. 13 Then he said to his sons, “Saddle the donkey for me.” So they saddled the donkey for him; and he rode on it, 14 and went after the man of God, and found him sitting under an oak. Then he said to him, “Are you the man of God who came from Judah?”
  
  And he said, “I am.”
  
  15 Then he said to him, “Come home with me and eat bread.”
  
  16 And he said, “I cannot return with you nor go in with you; neither can I eat bread nor drink water with you in this place. 17 For I have been told by the word of the Lord, ‘You shall not eat bread nor drink water there, nor return by going the way you came.’”
  
  18 He said to him, “I too am a prophet as you are, and an angel spoke to me by the word of the Lord, saying, ‘Bring him back with you to your house, that he may eat bread and drink water.’” (He was lying to him.)
  
  19 So he went back with him, and ate bread in his house, and drank water.
  
  20 Now it happened, as they sat at the table, that the word of the Lord came to the prophet who had brought him back; 21 and he cried out to the man of God who came from Judah, saying, “Thus says the Lord: ‘Because you have disobeyed the word of the Lord, and have not kept the commandment which the Lord your God commanded you, 22 but you came back, ate bread, and drank water in the place of which the Lord said to you, “Eat no bread and drink no water,” your corpse shall not come to the tomb of your fathers.’”
  
  23 So it was, after he had eaten bread and after he had drunk, that he saddled the donkey for him, the prophet whom he had brought back. 24 When he was gone, a lion met him on the road and killed him. And his corpse was thrown on the road, and the donkey stood by it. Now I will mentioned briefly some of the “fruit” I saw that came from his teachings/presence and the influence he had on my church.

To be fair, my church also was influenced by the Toronto Blessing etcetera, and everyone locally involved who had whatever role to play bears responsibility for what transpired overall in this congregation’s latter history.

Here goes:

First, a woman in our church who was trained under JPJ and had a local reputation of being highly prophetic once gave me the most accurate “Word of Knowledge” I had ever received – up until that point. Today, I would definitely classify what she told me as a ‘cold reading’, compared to more clearly biblical and purposeful Words of Knowledge/Exhortation/Prophecy that I have received (the quality is demonstrably different, I believe). Anyway, not long after my experience knowing this woman, she committed suicide. Needless to say, this stunned the entire congregation. The reason given was that a prophecy given to her about her own life had failed to come true, and she utterly despaired. I have always been disturbed by the combination of her “accuracy “as a “prophetess” and her suicide.

Second, many “prophetic” words were given about the future and purpose of this church – much of course was grandiose and ego-feeding. As a result, this affected the church budget. Church funds were spent self-indulgently toward the end of these prophecies, and the church bankrupted itself altogether. A major part of the reason it no longer exists.

  LP, that’s chilling to read. People put so much importance on these “prophetic words”. And you are right, they are cold readings. There’s no such thing as personal words of prophecy in the bible, which speak of the person, not of Christ. Not many are listening here, as you can see.

JPJ was a wonderful man. I loved him. There may have been excesses in his career? When I began to listen to him I believe he had made corrections and was a tremendous blessing to me.
His “Perfect Storm: video clip on youtube is a strong warning of things to come. All this slanderous talk on JPJ, IHOP and such is and will be noted on judgment day. Keep it up big mouths. I am aware of the abuses. Eat the hay and spit out the sticks.

I suggest maybe instead of name calling, threatening and making suggestions in judgement (yes, SURPRISE.. all of it is judgement 🙂 ) that we first truly educate ourselves as to what the Bible tells us about a person (prophet or not) whom speaks and teaches heresy. Then, try and prove M’Kayla wrong….using the Bible of course, not testimony to some good works, as we all have them from time to time LOL……GO! 😉
