Supernatural Encounters
God is supernatural and many unexplained supernatural events can occur. But we have become out of focus with “God can do anything”, and too much emphasis on the supernatural occurrences and an excess of angelic visitation, supernatural experiences and dreams and visions. Even the great prophets and disciples in the bible didn’t have THAT many. God never violates His own character or His word.
In the bible, every supernatural occurrence had a reason and an outcome. Current false teaching is just the opposite with those false teachers and prophets claiming trips to heaven and out of body experiences for no reason other than to just hang out and have a good time. They claim it is their “right” as a child of God. Really? I wasn’t aware we had rights to anything.

The emphasis on signs and wonders, or as Bill Johnson states it “signs that make you wonder” is not really about developing an intimate relationship with God as He reveals himself in the bible. It is a substitute really, thinking that one actually has a relationship with God because they are playing with this set of matches. In this generation raised on Harry Potter and the school of wizardry its not surprising Bethel’s “the School of Supernatural Ministry” plays into the desire for magic power. Distinguishing themselves as special based on spiritual gifts and feats such as random stranger healing isn’t about a relationship with God either. Its about making a name for oneself and having God as a genie in the bottle (quoting Jen Johnson’s description of the Holy Spirit) My personal genie performs at my command, right, that is real humility. I don’t see a reverence for God in any of it. Working up emotion is not worship, obedience, love and humility are, not something that is observed much in these New Apostolic ciricles

I agree w/ all you write & I love the truth! I have a question for you…what is your take on Rom. 1:11 re: the imparting of a spiritual gift. I see that Paul writes about faith in the following verse…perhaps he is talking about how we influence one another w/ the Spirit of God within us. I like this commentary on it…http://biblehub.com/commentaries/romans/1-11.htm “That I may impart unto you some spiritual gift.—Such gifts as would naturally flow to one Christian (or to many collectively) from the personal presence and warm sympathy of another; in St. Paul’s case, heightened in proportion to the wealth and elevation of his own spiritual consciousness and life. His head and his heart alike are full to overflowing, and he longs to disburthen himself and impart some of these riches to the Romans. Inasmuch as he regards all his own religious advancement and experience as the result of the Spirit working within him, he calls the fruits of that advancement and experience “spiritual gifts.” ” What say you?

In consideration of 1 Timothy 5:22 -Do not lay hands upon anyone [too] hastily and thereby share [responsibility for] the sins of others; keep yourself free from sin. In these things I warn about, there are many running around allowing anyone to lay hands on them for the impartation of this or that, having no mind for what they may be receiving or from whom. They seek after only what they might receive, some power, some bit of wisdom or “gift” with no regard to the warning given here. I do believe and we can see plain evidence that demonic transference abounds.

“that I may impart a spiritual gift” could potentially mean a few things in my opinion.
Firstly Paul was an apostle (a real one, not the phoney folks you get claiming the title these days) so could conceivably have had some authority over and above what people today have (in Acts 8 we see Peter, another apostle, laying hands on people who then received the Holy Spirit, at which point SImon the sorceror tried to buy the Holy Spirit).
It could also mean anything spiritual regardless of whether or not it related to the spiritual gifts Paul describes in Corinthians. Those are the gifts of the Spirit – there’s no reason why the “spiritual gift” Paul wanted to “impart” shouldn’t have been some new teachings, or even spending time with the people so they could learn from him.
In this latter regard you or I could conceivably “impart a spiritual gift” if we were to spend time with people who were hungry for the Word and teach them how to read the Bible and help them to understand its message. There needn’t be anything supernatural in it at all, just spending the time so they can learn and grow.

We have now here the apostolic wave through my county right now. Warning which I do on our/mine other website and far more less `in love’ sitting as this beautiful website here, because I come with the rod and this dear sister comes with a spirit of meekness. In both sits Gods love which is sitting hidden between those methods which Apostle Paul was describing. But that’s another thing.
Now another thing. Know that everything is in Gods Plan, which is a spiritual through out Gods Word standing plan. The bad and sad things in the Spirit is happening and it’s `good’ on itself, because that is Gods Plan and going the way of the Lord is Gods Plan as well. Although one thing that the bad side of the false teachings; prophecies and so on is not for the disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ and they will refuse that, but for the Christians; who are more the Sodomites (Ezek. 23:4, 29 and 31; Ezekiel 16:45-55; Ezekiel 27 where Satan is becoming called the King of Tyrus and his son (The Antichrist=The Prince of Tyrus). In 2.Cor. 12:2 Apostle Paul spoke about the third Heaven. There where the Believers Rest (Rom. 11:4-5) is or there where the disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ is and there where also the Gospel of the Kingdom (Matth. 24:14) is coming from and this is the Church of Philadelphia which we have seen in Rev. 3:7-21. Those are going through the narrow gate (Matth.7) to the third Heaven. The second Heaven is the territory of Satan where all the religions are sitting in. Even as well the Christianity. There are sitting the Christians as well. I am and Kayla as well are not Christians. But we are disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ and have the Gospel of the Kingdom in stead of being under the Christianity and calling our self Christians, because through the haziness to bring those two together we all are seeing and looking at this in a blurred way. Its not sharp anymore before our eyes. The Christianity is a by man made religion and the churches, which are the rebuilt temple or coming out the rebuilt temple which we see in Ezra and Nehemiah and it starts by the Roman Catholic Church (Ezekiel 23:29,31) and ends by the Baptist churches; the Evangelical and Pentecostal Churches and which kind of so called Christianity here in this world. The Christianity sit next to the Judaism and above the Judaism there is standing above Oholah which is Samaria and above her babysister (Oholibah) which is the old Jerusalem (Ezek. 23:4Gal. 4:25), but we are sitting in the House of Israel which is spiritual and we see as well that we are sitting in the New Jerusalem (Ezek.23:4, Gal. 4:26) which is in the 3rd Heaven by Christ on the right hand of God (Eph. 2:11-22) and than we see that the Salvation comes by Christ and that over the Jews and the Gentiles and that this is coming by the Gospel of the Kingdom which is coming from Christ and NOT from the Christianity with all the teachings and doctrines made by men which is not from the God of Abraham at all. Christianity is for the lukewarm people and not for the Elect. Here we see that after the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ the head from Satan was crushed and that God has the power to use him for the last Days. Now God is able to serve the lukewarm people under the Christianity with all kind of false doctrines as they want to becoming served with (2.Tim. 4:3-4) and as well we see that this is going to happen by the 2.Tim. 3:1-5 and now it is the time for it (1.Tim. 4:1). So the Elect sits under the Gospel of the Kingdom in the 3rd Heaven by Christ and the Christian sits under the spirit of the Antichrist in the 2nd Heaven and is pure satanic and the both meet each other under the 1st Heaven here on earth which means that this is the kingdom of men. Here you can see and the Elect and the Christians together and here we need to choose. Are we going with the Elect or with the Christians under the Christianity. The last fight that we should see is between the Christianity which is standing under the Spirit of the Antichrist in the Second Heaven or the Elect who are sitting by Christ in the Third heaven. For us who are sitting under the First Heaven the choice. Are we still sitting under the Christianity or do we become to sit under Christ by the Elect. It’s on us. May God bless you. Jan.
