Abomination.

I am sure this event comes as no surprise to anyone. I have known about it for quite a few years and that it was deviant, pagan, sick. This year I am in Nevada and had the opportunity to watch “burners” at Walmart purchasing copious amounts of water and supplies, rendering the shelves barren of stock. It was creepy, apocalyptic. as I watched, I couldn’t help but wonder how many  had no idea of the darkness they would encounter over the next week of their lives. The following article linked below has stunned even me.

A New Pope and a Pop For Ecumenism

I guess news reporting is not what it used to be. We get only a glimpse of the happening, hardly a mention of serious matters, with lots of time spent on things that do not matter, and lots of opinions. The fact that everyone has got one has gone a bit too real. But oh, well, it brings in ratings, pays the bills and someone up there gets rich. So, who cares if its the truth, right? Opinions also build blogs, don’t they?

If I wouldn’t have watched it with my own eyes I probably wouldn’t have believed it. You may not believe it either because I am not going to put up a bunch of links to prove what I am saying is true. I’m not going to go into long explanations of why this is all so strange, scary and wonderful at the same time. I am going to simply say what I witnessed along with much of the world via tv land, assuming anyone else out there was paying attention. I am saying it because it needs to be said and so far, no one else has.

It seems the world has gone and got itself a new pope, a new Holy Father, a pontiff, a vicar, one they can follow, or who can lead them into the next phase of their religion, whatever that may be. A man who has chosen the name of another who lived long ago, famed for his strange supernatural experiences, one who heard the voice of God thru a cross. One whose long ago pilgrimage is very popular among not only the Catholics, but also the well-evolved Christians who have sought after another way.

Did you ever think you would hear a call for ecumenism during a prime time news broadcast? I didn’t. But on such a stellar occasion, amidst the joy and excitement, the sign of hope through white smoke, the new pope, and  – pop – there it was on CNN. The crier, Erin Burnett.

I think Erin does a good job most of the time, but I don’t watch her all that often. So, it is nothing personal against her ability to do her job. It is however, largely personal that she publicly denied Christ and urged others to follow along with her. But somehow I doubt she understands the gravity of her words. And that is most unfortunate.

So on the evening of March 13, 2013, the filming of Out Front, Erin, standing in front of St. Peters’ had a short conversation with Roma Downey. They discuss the new pope and are both very excited and pleased that a decision has been made. Roma is a practicing Catholic, and Executive Producer of the doctrinally failed, yet very popular mini-series, The Bible. Roma who later referred to herself as Christian stated she was very excited that her series, bible stories as she related to it, had brought in more ratings than “the zombies“. I’m not so sure that is an accomplishment to brag about. There is more truth to be had from AMC’s The Walking Dead than there is her version of the bible. And I can have an opinion here, I’ve watched both.

Suddenly, Erin commented that she wished she had read the Qur’an. It was a disjointed comment, and it took me back, because it was so out of place. But for Erin, her personal beliefs and religious needs, her comment had a place, and you will see that. She then asked Roma how she felt about the Qur’an. Roma stated it was ok that others read the Qur’an, that “as Christians, we are called to love and to be tolerant”. Roma, like the faith she follows is only partly right. To love is something we can all agree on, even superficially.

Going forward, Erin brings on via satellite an ex-Catholic turned atheist, lesbian woman. How fitting considering the sexual sin by the Catholic church and the current battle over same sex marriage, huh? But remember, everyone has an opinion. This woman, whose name I do not know feels that if the Catholic church would just change it’s beliefs to accommodate what the people want, what is relevant for today, then more people would probably return to the church. So, a woman who claims she no longer believes in God is going to give spiritual and doctrinal advice? And this woman’s presence on camera is not political? And let me say, with all the horrendous things done in the name of God, I can see why this woman made the choices she did. I don’t say they are right, but I do understand the reasoning behind them.

After the final commercial break, Erin, standing alone, facing the camera ends her show with a personal call for ecumenism. By her own words that is what she believes in. She too is an ex-Catholic, and although she doesn’t practice any more, she is excited that the church has a new pope. She states that the church does a lot of good for a lot of people.  But for her, all we need is ecumenism. She’s beautiful. She’s smiling. She is convincing. In the excitement and emotion of such a momentous occasion, in a place where so many have gathered together, who wouldn’t want to be included in the next great thing?

Ecumenism. A fancy word that basically means unity. Ahh-ha. Now the seemingly odd and out of place Qur’an question from earlier makes a bit more sense. As do the ideas and suggestions of the displaced atheist. Unity in what, Erin?  A god who condones homosexuality? Or reading of the Qur’an alongside the Bible, or reading any book for that matter, or maybe no book at all? Or maybe we will just chuck the bible and watch Roma’s newly produced bible stories, entertaining as they are. Unity, meaning we all believe in something, some god with whatever name we are to give him, or give her for that matter,  a higher power, a force, with doctrine based on whatever whim feels right at the moment, one that we can change when we become too bored?  Isn’t that what we call agnostic? Universalism? Don’t we call that emergent?

We do not by orthodoxy call that “Christian”. And Erin, you have not been the first to think of it.

This, my friends is the beginning of a one world religious system. This is wonderful bible prophecy unfolding before our very eyes. And it all happened right there, after the election of the new pope, on CNN.

I am still shaking my head.

Olympic Ceremonies

Not long ago, I had a conversation with some other people regarding the opening ceremony of the Olympic games. Not being a fan, I didn’t watch it on TV but became quite concerned after seeing bits and pieces of it on the internet.

After a good search and a plea for assistance we found there was no stream available to be watched.  Yeah, we can stream The Closer, but not the opening ceremony of the oh-so-important Olympic competition the masses flock to be a part of. Hmm…

I was able to see some of the still photos on the web along segments of home video. The symbolism was quite shocking, dark and sinister, but no relation at will with the games, or the athletes. Don’t you find that strange?

A much trusted researcher, whose knowledge and insight I am thankful for, has taken the time to put it all together. You will see these ceremonies have nothing to do with “the games” at all. I find that quite odd and quite disturbing.

So what is that message?

An in-depth look at the symbolism behind the Olympic Ceremonies

And as a side note, and because I think there is a very strong connection, we should also consider the symbolism presented during the 2012 Superbowl halftime show.

Are we entertained yet?

Wearable Circuit Boards – Woe

The things we used to watch as kids, labeled as sci-fi entertainment and probably impossible have become today’s realities.  I believe some things are worth looking into.

Revelation 13:16  And he causes all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free men and the slaves to be given a mark on their right hand, or on their forehead, 17 and he provides that no one should be able to buy or to sell except the one who has the mark, either the name of the beast or the number of his name. 18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for the number is that of a man; and his number is six hundred and sixty six.

If you still think the prophesied mark of the beast and it’s warnings is from an old dusty book written for crazies, you may want to rethink that. There is a system setting up which has always been, one that is great and against God, against His Son and all things Holy. This is why our society has become so self-absorbed, more and more are against Christians, keeping prayer out of the schools and bible reading out of the workplace. This is why so many politicians come in the name of Christ, yet do unGodly things. Our world is becoming Godless, and America who was once known as a Christian nation no longer is. We see its preachers trading the truth of the gospel for fame and fortune, more willing to be well known by the masses than to be known by the name of Christ. America is so star-struck that the followers of these pastors don’t even see it right before their own eyes.

People laugh and think it’s no big deal to mark, tattoo and pierce the body, but the growth in popularity and its acceptance is a desensitizing process taking place. We are moving toward a cashless society at a great pace and one day it will not be so hard to accept an implant or a tattoo, or even a circuit board for ease in making purchases. We’ve already seen the technology of digital tattoos for healthcare. (see below) Consider Leviticus 19:28 You shall not make any cuts in your body for the dead, nor make any tattoo marks on yourselves; I am the Lord. When He said “I am the Lord” it brings an implication that this practice involves worship or dedication of the self to another god. That was His warning. With a little research, this can be proved as we see so many other cultures doing this very thing. After all, that pierced nose with the ring through it originated from somewhere. You may laugh and say it does not matter that your tattoo is not to another god. Well, the Lord did not give you room for reason, He already said that’s what you would be doing.

We see a great unrest in the middle east, one that we have not seen before. Our world has great problems of hunger and disease, debt, terrorism – situations that cannot be solved through mankind. But there is a ruler coming that will claim ability to end all these things and he will be given the ability to bring about a peace for a time – 3 1/2 years. During that time the public will become so grateful to him they will actually worship and bow down to him. It will become a required practice and those who do not will be put to death. Taking the mark bearing his name will also be required of all people throughout the world- talk about loss of freedom. And those who take it will forever commit themselves to him. Those who do not will be put to death. Many will mistake him early on for Christ because they did not bother to learn the scriptures but remained proud in their lives and in their sin and did not repent of it. They chose to not listen to the warnings.

The real King is coming and He is Christ, the Messiah who laid down His life in place of yours. He is the one who will overthrow this coming world ruler who is all things false, an imposter of the real God.

Revelation 22:13 Behold I am coming quickly and My reward is with me, to render to every man according to what he has done. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.

Listen to the warnings and the next time you see something like this on the news or the next time a character in a movie is given an implant, it may strike you differently, and be a little less cool.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.

did the serpent wink?

Proverbs 16:24-26

24 Pleasant words are like a honeycomb,
Sweetness to the soul and health to the bones.
25 There is a way that seems right to a man,
But its end is the way of death.
26 The person who labors, labors for himself,
For his hungry mouth drives him on.

“The Good Book: A Humanist Bible,” subtitled “A Secular Bible” in the United Kingdom, was published this month (Source article and video from CNN, partly quoted below)

The question arose early in British academic A.C. Grayling’s career: What if those ancient compilers who’d made Bibles, the collected religious texts that were translated, edited, arranged and published en masse, had focused instead on assembling the non-religious teachings of civilization’s greatest thinkers?

What if the book that billions have turned to for ethical guidance wasn’t tied to commandments from God or any one particular tradition but instead included the writings of Aristotle, the reflections of Confucius, the poetry of Baudelaire? What would that book look like, and what would it mean?

“Humanist ethics didn’t claim to be derived from a deity,” he says. “(They) tended to start from a sympathetic understanding of human nature…”

Had he considered instead Jesus Christ who is God incarnate, our High Priest who suffered the death of the cross for our sin, and can sympathize with  our weakness, being tempted as we so are, he would have found the true meaning of human sympathizers! Hebrews 3:14-15 What better form of sympathy could there found be if not in Him? Have these so-called great thinkers of mankind gone as far as that? Have they come even close? I think not.

And I am reminded again to not be cheated or deceived through philosophy and the traditions of men which have nothing in Christ (Colossians 2:8), yet is a high thing set to exalt itself against the knowledge of God (2 Corinthians 10:5)

Such is the way of humanistic thinking and to ask “what if?” as though mankind has found a better way.

It is also found in the thinking of Eugene Peterson (The Message) who believes the best way to understand God is through “lectio divina”.

Or as we have come to understand the Charismatic Movement is to experience God through supernatural dreams and visions, trances, ecstatic dance and song, soaking prayer and prophetic words.

As William P Young has written The Shack, “Where Tragedy Confronts Eternity” whose story is as make-believe as his universalism three-part goddess-man thing.

Christianity has become a sort of free for all where anything goes, not anymore so far removed from the world it was told to guard itself from. When self-reason replaces the clear teaching of scripture, what else is left for us but a deeper deception? Will a man outthink God?

We as a civilized society can no longer accept the fact that our sin will condemn us and in our finite thinking and limited wisdom we have thrown out the only one who can save for a seemed better way to satisfy our empty souls, until the moment comes and those souls will be required of us.

Mr. Grayling stated  “No intention to offend -”

I wonder, did the serpent wink as he shared the forbidden fruit?
