Sneeze The Wrong Way: Meet The New Mommy

Is there a push lately to make us afraid of germs, afraid of each other? I think so!

If we don’t get it together and learn to sneeze correctly the next thing we will be guilty of is a hate crime by way of deliberately spreading germs, namely the H1N1!

Someone please explain to  me how I will blow my nose after sneezing if my nose is tucked into my elbow.

From ABC News:

At a briefing just now, NBC’s Chuck Todd just sneezed into his hand, rather than his arm, prompting the joking disapproval of Health Secretary Sebelius and press secretary Robert Gibbs.

Reporter Sneezes The Wrong Way

Public humiliation! Absolutely ridiculous! Sebelius should apologize to Chuck Todd publicly!

From WH – It’s time for a reality check

I received “It’s time for a reality check” in my e-mail just a few moments ago. I am assuming this is a response to the letter I sent to Pres Obama last week in which I voiced my concern of his request for “snitchery” and of his health care reform proposal I’m sharing  the response written by David Axelrod with you, unread, unresearched by me,  just for the information.

On another note, after sending my same concerns to the governor, 3 senators and 2 reps, and the GOP, I did receive one very nice response from one senator, which assured me the change is for the better. The letter did not specifically address any of my concerns. I got a pat on the back, so to speak from the GOP and an invite to sign up with a user name and password!  I’m going to leave my cynical responses out of this, being that I am more disappointed in the chairman of the GOP than I am the senator!

The problem is not what they are saying now, it’s in what has already been said!!! When the WH is able to put into words that it is not their intention now or in the future to invoke laws the public is now screaming about, those the government call “myths”, then, and only then will their explanations have true weight. That is my reality check for them.

(Sorry, about the formatting – I’m trying to make it better. :))

The White House, Washington

Dear Friend,
Anyone that’s watched the news in the past few days knows that health insurance reform is a hot topic — and that rumors and scare tactics have only increased as more people engage with the issue. Given a lot of the outrageous claims floating around, it’s time to make sure everyone knows the facts about the security and stability you get with health insurance reform. That’s why we’ve launched a new online resource — WhiteHouse.gov/RealityCheck — to help you separate fact from fiction and share the truth about health insurance reform. Here’s a few of the reality check videos you can find on the site:

There’s more information and a number of online tools you can use to spread the truth among your family, friends and other social networks. Take a look:

Health Insurance Reform Reality Check

We knew going into this effort that accomplishing comprehensive health insurance reform wasn’t going to be easy. Achieving real change never is. The entrenched interests that benefit from the status quo always use their influence in Washington to try and keep things just as they are.

But don’t be misled. We know the status quo is unsustainable. If we do nothing, millions more Americans will be denied insurance because of pre-existing conditions, or see their coverage suddenly dropped if they become seriously ill. Out-of-pocket expenses will continue to soar, and more and more families and businesses will be forced to deal with health insurance costs they can’t afford.

That’s the reality.

Americans deserve better. You deserve a health care system that works as well for you as it does for the status quo; one you can depend on — that won’t deny you coverage when you need it most or charge you crippling out-of-pocket co-pays. Health insurance reform means guaranteeing the health care security and stability you deserve.

President Barack Obama promised he’d bring change to Washington and fix our broken, unsustainable health insurance system. You can help deliver that change. Visit WhiteHouse.gov/RealityCheck, get the facts and spread the truth. The stakes are just too high to do nothing.

Thank you,
David

Eliminate Private Payer Insurance is the Future

From Breibart.tv  uncoverd video brings to light older clips of Obama and others speaking about the future of single or private payer health care.  Seems the truth can be found!

Here is the link to the video:

Obama Health Care Will Eliminate Private Insurance!!!

A Snitch’s Letter to Mr. Obama

This is a letter I submitted by way of e-mail to the White House. I plan to send many more to other officials.  I snitched on myself. haha

Dear Mr. Obama,

I will save my fellow Americans the trouble of bowing to a White House request for snitchery on those who speak or write against your health care reform.  I will do it for them as I have nothing to hide.

I am against this current health care bill because I do not believe it serves the best interests in the health or welfare of the American public.

I am against taxing an already overtaxed and underpaid society who is on the brink of complete financial ruin.

I am against a government imposed tax to those who do not selecthealth care, or for those who do not go along with the status quo, and for those small businesses who simply cannot afford to do what the rich government thinks it should. Employer- provided medical benefits is an option – and a great one – a benefit, not a requirement of law.  We believe in and support free enterprise.

I am against any kind of assisted suicide, whether of, or by the elderly or of the unborn regardless of the fancy wording and reasoning attached to it.

I am against providing illegal aliens with free heath care who should not be on our soil to begin with.

I am against a plan that will allow the government the choice of whether or not I receive medical treatment, prescription meds and whether or not  I live or die based on my age, medical condition and prognosis.

I am against any government plan to take away freedom and the right of life in whatever form it comes as these things were given freely by God Almighty, not man or government.

There is more, but this will suffice for now.

What is the motivation behind your plea for snitchery?  What will you plan to do with this information once it is obtained?  Do you realize what you request is a violation of our right to speech, right to privacy and our right to protest and to ask questions of our government officials?

We have and will continue to fight against any move of government that is considered to be wrong in whatever form it comes knowing that we will be branded as conspiracy theorists, the uniformed, crazy with too much time on our hands, and so on.

The current administration, regardless of its beliefs does not have the option to impede on our freedom.

The Senate should not be persuaded to vote on this bill until it has been fully read, reviewed, discussed and argued – and most importantly made public for all eyes to see. You expect us to pay, we want to see the product beforehand. You promised transparency, so where is it?

Thank you for your time.

Healthcare Reform – Val Lee

Wow.  I just popped into to Val Lee’s Weblog and found the following article:

Healthcare Reform Page by Page

Thanks Val for your great work getting this out!

I knew this so called health care reform was bad and I could barely read through all of her article.  I am shocked and sickened  that this is nothing more than a way to eliminate “unwanted” people and make the government lots of money gaining complete control over our lives and the lives of our families and children.  This is not what America is about!

This is what we have come to. This is what has been cooking on the back burner  while we have been hard at work at our jobs, taking care of our families, doing the right things, paying taxes and being good citizens and voting for those “like minded Americans” in office who should have our best interests at heart.  They do not have our best interests at heart at all and here is the truth!  I keep thinking  this cannot be true, but, it is true.  And something tells me this has gone too far to turn it back, stalled in the Senate or not.  This is not something out of Obama’s back pocket.  It has taken more than one man to do this much damage and to push this thing as far as it has gone.

We are talking more than health care here.  We are talking about government controlled people who no longer will have a say in anything they do.  It may start with the health issue, but it will not end there.  How can it when the government will decide who dies and when? It will not end until the government owns every one of us and makes all of our decisions – who we are, where we live and work, and where our money goes, and what we can and can’t believe in or worship. Everything we have come to enjoy in America in our freedom and liberty, everything that has been worked for in legislature, those who have given their lives for our freedom, on and on for generations –  it will be over very soon, all of that work will be nothing but history and probably will be erased from the history school books.

I hope I am wrong. But, I think we are in for it.
