I’m feeling a little dramatic…
Years ago my daughter Jessica used to be in a mime/drama group called Christ in Action along with a very dear friend’s daughter. Together they reenacted this dramatic piece of Carman’s, A Witch’s Invitation.
This video brings back those happy moments which now seem more like another lifetime than they do memories of this one.
In honor of her passing 9 years ago (April 27), and in the hope that I will see for myself her name written in the Lamb’s Book of Life…
and as a testament that Satan is not the victor in her passing…
nor in the passing of the daughter’s mother that same year…
what else can I add, but the most important factor – Christ’s meaning from the cross “It is Finished!!!”…
indulge me a moment – –
and then give a shout. He is victorious in all things!
(and I really hope that burns the devil’s butt tonight!)
For all who need comfort this morning –
1 In You, O Lord, I put my trust; Let me never be put to shame.
2 Deliver me in Your righteousness, and cause me to escape; Incline Your ear to me, and save me.
3 Be my strong refuge, To which I may resort continually; You have given the commandment to save me, For You are my rock and my fortress.
4 Deliver me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, Out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man.
5 For You are my hope, O Lord God; You are my trust from my youth.
6 By You I have been upheld from birth; You are He who took me out of my mother’s womb. My praise shall be continually of You.
7 I have become as a wonder to many, But You are my strong refuge.
8 Let my mouth be filled with Your praise And with Your glory all the day.
9 Do not cast me off in the time of old age; Do not forsake me when my strength fails.
10 For my enemies speak against me; And those who lie in wait for my life take counsel together,
11 Saying, “God has forsaken him; Pursue and take him, for there is none to deliver him.”
12 O God, do not be far from me; O my God, make haste to help me!
13 Let them be confounded and consumed Who are adversaries of my life; Let them be covered with reproach and dishonor Who seek my hurt.
14 But I will hope continually, And will praise You yet more and more.
15 My mouth shall tell of Your righteousness And Your salvation all the day, For I do not know their limits.
16 I will go in the strength of the Lord God; I will make mention of Your righteousness, of Yours only.
17 O God, You have taught me from my youth; And to this day I declare Your wondrous works.
18 Now also when I am old and grayheaded, O God, do not forsake me, Until I declare Your strength to this generation, Your power to everyone who is to come.
19 Also Your righteousness, O God, is very high, You who have done great things; O God, who is like You?
20 You, who have shown me great and severe troubles, Shall revive me again, And bring me up again from the depths of the earth.
21 You shall increase my greatness, And comfort me on every side.
22 Also with the lute I will praise you– And Your faithfulness, O my God! To You I will sing with the harp, O Holy One of Israel.
23 My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing to You, And my soul, which You have redeemed.
24 My tongue also shall talk of Your righteousness all the day long; For they are confounded, For they are brought to shame Who seek my hurt.
A friend sent this to me. It is beautiful.

Recently I had a woman contact me who I had given a “prophetic” word to a couple of years ago while at a women’s conference. We have been e-mailing back and forth since that day she contacted me, and I have been giving her some information to show her why the spirit that I had been operating under was not that of the Holy Spirit.
Our God does indeed work miracles today because this woman is able to see the truth. I am so grateful that the Lord is bringing her out of the false teaching and am very encouraged by this news. I know I have talked with many others here who at one point or another were also involved. Some of you I have talked with on the phone and through e-mailing. It has been an honor to help you, to hear your stories and to share in your lives. And in return I have been helped by many of you through your experiences, your faith and your wisdom – and your prayers! Blessed be the name of the Lord. For it is only through Him that we are able to find the truth!
I know so many of us have been affected and even altered spiritually because of all the false teaching from Word of Faith, Bethel, the supernatural and the false prophetic and the many teachers and prophets who bring these heresies. We continue to see our God in His great mercy and love work in our lives and in the lives of those we pray for. This truly is the justice of the Lord! And so we continue to wage war against these lies of the enemy remaining confident that our Lord will see us through to the very end and we will stand with Him on that day. Please continue to pray for the deceived as well as the lost. There is hope – here is the testimony! Thank you Jesus! And thanks to all of you who take the risk to speak the truth the Lord has sown into your hearts and the truth of His word. We have this evidence that each of us had a part in this great testimony – and there will be more. BELIEVE it. 🙂
I am reminded of these verses – 1 Corinthians 3:7-9 So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase. 8 Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor. 9 For we are Gods’ fellow workers; you are God’s field, you are God’s building.
Thank you for upholding the One who died for your sins – the one and only true Messiah Jesus Christ!
Yesterday we received more earth shattering news regarding a family member. No one died, but I won’t go into details because the details is not the point I wish to make.
I have been struck by the realization of the simplicity of Jesus and the cross and it as though I am seeing it for the first time. I am amazed that we have made it into something so hard to understand, so hard to accept. It’s really very simple. I am also amazed that we chase around in all of our busy time and energy -stealing schedules, in fruitless effort to concoct for ourselves – life – when it has already been freely offered for our taking. It is not the life that we have hoped to create on our own, and sadly, because of the blindness we miss it altogether.
Jesus Christ having always existed as the creator of life, who, knowing all things about every person who would ever live, knowing every event that would take place on earth, being in full knowledge of the mind of mankind, that is sinful and futile in its attempts to be good – –
God by His own choosing stepped out of heaven, lived and worked here on earth among sinners, adulterers and thieves in the form of a man. Then, choosing a most hideous death, the sinless Man between two thieves, died for a crime a He did not commit, being completely without fault, sin or guilt. In so doing He took the sin of all those people upon His innocent and loving shoulders offering life to those who would follow His ways, the ways of the Father, the ways of love.
Because He loves us – everyone of us. Regardless of who we are or what we do. If we live in the gutter or in the greatest mansion we are the same in His eyes. And He did this so that we might realize His true and unwavering love and in return for such a great gift we would love Him back. In doing so, we would be taught to love one another. If we could get ourselves around that simple but great truth! We would love, and would stop murdering one another with our words and deeds. We would stop chanting me! me! me and begin seeing with new eyes. We would shake off the inner covering of pride that makes us the worthless self centered beings that we are and come to the realization of why God created us in the first place – for fellowship with Him and with one another – to love, support, encourage, and to weep with those who weep and dance with those who are joyful!
John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
What a world it would be.
It astounds me, that most of the world’s most talented and gifted people cannot give honor to the
God who died for them, the one who gave them their abilities to do what they do. They flat out deny Him, speaking their ignorance to the world of things they do not know, becoming a model for others to follow.
People don’t understand why I have a hard time listening to secular music. I believe writing, whether it is the music or the lyrics comes from within a person from the very soul. I believe it is a part of who a person is and epitomizes what they believe. This one believes Jesus, the Messiah was a gay man. I have nothing in common with that man’s soul belief therefore his music has nothing to offer me.
For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Matthew 6:21
The famous Elton John and his comment about Jesus being a compassionate, gay man told by NY Daily News.
“Religion promotes hatred and spite against gays,” the openly gay performer told the Observer’s Music Monthly magazine in 2006. “From my point of view, I would ban religion completely.
“”I think Jesus was a compassionate, super-intelligent gay man who understood human problems,” he tells Parade. “On the cross, he forgave the people who crucified him.”
He said, “let me clarify. I’m not saying to everyone that he definitely was gay; that’s just how I see him from MY point of view as a compassionate gay person. I see him as a compassionate person who forgave people. That’s how “I” see him. Everyone’s individual faith is their own business.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled. Matthew 5:6
Elton John is partially right. Jesus was compassionate – Matthew 9:36. He did forgive those who crucified him – Luke 23:34.
But there is more –
Jesus is the promised Messiah -John 4:25 The woman said to Him, “I know that Messiah is coming” (who is called Christ). “When He comes, He will tell us all things”. 26 Jesus said to her “I who speak to you am He.”
He is God incarnate – John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
Homosexuality is a sin – Leviticus 19:22 You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination.
Sin brings death – John 8:24″ Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.”
Freedom from the sin of death – John 8:34 “Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. 35 And a slave does not abide in the house forever. 36 Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.”
Revelation 21:7 – He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son. 8 But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.
How sad this man cannot see the connection that in Jesus Christ we are free from sin, free to live eternally with the God who created us! What can the world and its lusts offer us in comparison? Nothing is as glorious!
We can make whatever conclusion we would like to, build whatever kind of belief system or religion that suits our own needs to allow us to continue to live the way we choose. But the truth remains the truth, and at the end of life we will all give an account for our choices. Those who love and practice a lie – Revelation 22:15 -will not enter in the kingdom of God. Revelation 21:27 But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of life.
He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.” Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus! Revelation 22:20.
A couple of days ago I found out some information about someone who has been a great influence in my life. The information shocked me, as it was hard to believe. I was angry for a time, confused and a little desperate.
This morning I found the joy and peace of the Lord very unexpectedly on another blog. And when I read the words written there this scripture came to my mind.
The moment profoundly impacted me and I was again reminded of the great unfailing love and perseverance of our Lord so often found in unsuspected places in His own people.
Here is the scripture. May it remind you, as it did me, the blessing of good news and bring renewed hope to you as one who brings peace and glad tidings of good things.
How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news,
Who proclaims peace,
Who brings glad tidings of good things,
Who proclaims salvation,
Who says to Zion,
“Your God reigns!”
Your watchmen shall lift up thier voices,
With thier voices they shall sing together;
for they shall see eye to eye
When the Lord brings back Zion.
Break forth in joy, sing together,
You waste places of Jerusalem!
For the Lord has comforted His people,
He has redeemed Jerusalem.
The Lord has made bare His holy arm
In they eyes of all the nations;
And all the ends of the earth shall see
The salvation of our God. Isaiah 52:7-10
