Ok. So I’m reading Revelation 17 and when I came on verse 9 I was struck with a strange connection in the wording, wondering if there is indeed a connection to have a closer look at. See what you think here –
Rev. 17:9 Here is the mind which has wisdom: The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits.
Remember now, Chuck Pierce, C Peter Wagner, Lance Wallnau, Bill Johnson, Cal Pierce, Cindy Jacobs, Dutch Sheets and gads more support this idea via thier claim of a prophetic word of the seven mountains of influence in which “believers” are to take over society using their “god-given” gifts in these seven areas – Government, Business, Education, Media, Family, Religion, Entertainment. Guess they didn’t read that part in the bible when Jesus stated His kingdom is NOT of this world, huh? But then again, these people of the NAR who are false prophets and false teachers don’t really read the bible, do they? But they sure can coax a crowd to their gatherings. Tickling messages.
I’ve often wondered what will happen when those of us who oppose these false teachers, clinging to the word of God for our truth rather than their bizarre claims of knowledge and supernatural experiences. I think it is worth taking some time to consider that those of the NAR who claim all these crazy things will indeed be the ones to persecute those of the true faith. Heaven help them -really- because the end result of them will be worse than anything they can conjure toward us.
Revelation 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues.”
So could it be that the “seven mountains of influence” delusion was actually foretold in Revelation 17:9?
