Movies that Imitate Christianity, Blogtalk – Susan Puzio

I just had another blogtalk with Susan Puzio addressing some of the things I had previously been involved with. We also looked at the NRB Proclaim 16 conference that went on this past week, the speakers and contributors and the movies that are being released.

I see there is a mix of Christianity, Catholicism with influences of other beliefs, most of which will not be backed up in scripture. Have a listen, watch the movie trailers linked at Proclaim 16 on the footer that I spoke of and use the information to help others avoid these pitfalls. With all the information we have available it is easy to connect the dots. By using our bible as reference it is just as easy to recognize false doctrine coming from these movies.

We need to rid ourselves of emotions and think clearly and soberly at these deceptions which will grow stronger and more convincing as time goes on. There is a real coming together of religions forming as one. The media, entertainment sectors of our society, as well as our government are helping it take shape. Many are blind and need help to see.

More on C Peter Wagner’s Now Infamous Letter

In a recent letter, C Peter Wagner did a bit of lying about his own organization and its  heavy connection with American politics. After posting the letter I received some great comments (see the link above), and I put the matter aside (what’s new with this, nothing changes) but realized I was wrong in that wimpy thinking.

The following work is not my own, but I am bringing it to your attention because it needs to get out there as many times as we can get it out. Maybe someone caught up in the NAR/Self-Appointed Apostolic/False Prophetic/Imagined Strategic Spiritual Warfare/having the same power as God ~ manifesting false signs and wonders ~~that is Latter Rain/Dominion/Kingdom Now/7 Mountains from where we will rule America and the world will see the truth; maybe even Peter Wagner himself.

I am amazed at the work done by Orrel Steinkemp. I have found that in reading his articles I learn from his footnotes too! Here is a bit from a 2001 article of his debunking Wagner’s recent lie the NAR has no membership, and a little laying out of his plan 10 years ago to form the NAR!~

The Apostles Are Coming To Your City, Ready or Not
by Orell Steinkamp, The Plumbline, Vol. 6, No. 2, March/April 2001

In a previous issue of PLUMBLINE, I described the efforts of C. Peter Wagner to create a New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) which he predicts will be even greater in scope and significance than the Protestant Reformation of the 1500’s.  The centerpiece of the movement is the purported restoration, by God, of the NT office-gift of “Apostle’ to the end-time church.

Now Wagner and his apostolic buddies are attempting to move from vision to reality.  In an article titled, APOSTOLIC REFORMATION on his Website http://www.globalharvestministries.org he reveals moves that are currently underway, to implement his apostolic reformation.  In this article he restates the goals and also the preliminary means to implement them.

Goal:

Wagner asserts: NAR is an extra-ordinary work of God at the close of the 20th century that to a significant extent is changing the shape of Protestant Christianity around the world.  For almost 500 years Christian churches have largely functioned with traditional denominational structures of one kind or another.  Within this reformation, Wagner sees a growing recognition of present day apostolic ministries who are giving birth to their own family of leaders and churches to whom they have a relational commitment.  Within New Apostolic Christianity, this governmental authority is being exercised in the local church by the pastor and on a translocal level by apostles who operate with a relational authority.  Wagner sees what is happening in the NAR as key to world harvest.

Wagner sees apostles as being at the peak of their (own) networks and the people in their networks as accountable to them.  It is here in the article that the accountability of the apostles is addressed and Wagner begins to refer to the means of implementing the apostolic structure.

Implementation:

The New Apostolic Roundtable:

Wagner is personally involved in an accountability structure called the “New Apostolic Roundtable.” Twenty-five apostles were invited to join as members and they plan to meet together annually, the week after Easter.  Eventually, the names of the roundtable will be made public.

The International Coalition of Apostles:

Because this movement is growing so rapidly around the world, Wagner also sees a need for a larger kind of structure.  As a result he and a number of others have formed what they call the International Coalition of Apostles.  They have sent out their first invitations in January of this year and have just passed one hundred and fifty
members.  Wagner expects that they will ultimately attract from five hundred to one thousand members (solicited by invitation
only). They plan to hold an annual meeting along with occasional regional summits across America and around the world.

From here, and not for the first time, I highly recommend the many articles offered by Herescope. This is a good one in the series to start with – C Peter Wagner Spins the NAR.

Colossians 2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

Mike Huckabee Another Wannabee

Forced at gunpoint, huh? Not biblical, not American. I can’t believe this has come out of a man who used to preach the truth. (Assuming what he preached was the truth!)

Now he’s just rubbin’ elbows and doin’ the good – ol’ – buddy punch with those who will help him get to where he wants. It is a sad day when preachers swap the pulpit for a shot at the White House. It’s even worse when they manipulate their way up.

I’m thinking NAR….7 Mountains…

Pull the trig, I won’t listen.

The Alignment of Political America and the NAR

I’ve been watching and writing about the heretical teachings of the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) for a few months, not being sure why it seemed to be so important to do so. I don’t have a lot of experience with them because I never really “got” Chuck Pierce at all. However, there are some other prophets and apostles in this madhouse that I did follow (Cal Pierce, Cindy Jacobs, Dutch Sheets) and I guess that was enough for the Lord to impress on me the need for exposure.

Last night I began to come across some very good information offered by organizations who have researched the NAR much longer than I have. I am stunned to see the newly formed connection between political America and the demonic agenda of the NAR. No longer can it be confined only to a strange few. Follow the links I posted below – read and listen with great care. Yes, it will take some time as there is a lot of information. But, so important. You will see the connection between C Peter Wagner’s NAR and some of our government officials under the guise of patriotism and Godly values. It is time for great concern for those who will not join this movement, this building of a whole new “kingdom”.  Suddenly I understand the comments I read by those who were greatly concerned about Wilderness Outcry. What will this lead to? Are we ready to stand?

Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, to God our Savior Who alone is wise, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever. Amen. Jude 24-25

Apprising Ministries -Mayday and the New Apostolic Reformation

In response to the May Day event held this past Saturday at the Lincoln Memorial, Ingrid (Schlueter) and Sarah (Leslie) brought to listener attention a movement known as the New Apostolic Reformation. This title was coined by C. Peter Wagner during the 1990’s.

Featuring teachers such as Dutch Sheets, Cindy Jacobs and false prophetess Stacy Campbell, the New Apostolic Reformation is centered around a theology of dominionism. It teaches that Christians can take down demonic spirits in order to take back territories and institutions for Christ. The movement is post-millennial believing that Jesus will not return until Christians take over the 7 Mountains.

These “mountains” are institutions like the media, entertainment, the economy, etc. In other words, their eschatology requires that instead of reaching people with the gospel one heart at a time, they believe they are to conquer the earth one demonic spirit at a time and make the earth perfect so that Jesus can return. Right Wing Watch – Mayday on the Mall

May Day 2010 has been organized around the “Seven Mountains” theology, which advocates the complete takeover of every aspect of contemporary culture by modern day “apostles” of Christ. The theology is rooted in the belief that Christians are meant to have dominion over literally everything and is focused on spiritually “invading” seven specific facets of modern life in order to wrest control away from Satan and his demonic spirits so that Christians can put them to use in bringing about God’s kingdom on Earth: (1) Business; (2) Government; (3) Media; (4) Arts and Entertainment; (5) Education; (6) Family; and (7) Religion.

The Coalescing of the Christian Right with Apostolic Dominion

The American political landscape has suddenly changed. A tumult is appearing in the land with the passage of health care reform. The Christian Right, with its years of courting political influence, is now poised to merge with the new Tea Party Movement. In times of crisis, natural or caused, things seem to happen faster and opportunities, that would take years, seem to happen in months. There is the scent of rebellion in the air.

R&R Revival and Revolt

Initially The Tea Party was populist, libertarian, limited government, anti-socialism and lower taxes, etc. But the first ever National Tea Party Conference in Nashville in February revealed that there has always been an overlap with Christian Right social issues. The Tea Party movement is in danger of being co-opted by the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) and its radical agenda. Do the Tea Party folks realize what they are getting into?
