Prayer Needed

The following is a prayer request from Iraq. It is real. It is not news or a conspiracy theory. Children are dying at the hands of ISIS for their faith…this story has chilled me in a way nothing else has in my life. I don’t have an update, just please pray!

I received the following email from my brother-in-law this morning.

10/09/14 Thursday 6:39 P.M.

Prayer Request from Dan and Marilyn Wilson Missionaries who are in the areas that are being attacked by ISIS are asking to be showered in prayer. ISIS has taken over the town they are in today. He said ISIS is systematically going house to house to all the Christians and asking the children to denounce Jesus. He said so far not one child has. And so far all have consequently been killed. But not the parents. The UN has withdrawn and the missionaries are on their own. They are determined to stick it out for the sake of the families – even if it means their own deaths. They are very afraid, have no idea how to even begin ministering to these families who have had seen their children martyred. Yet he says he knows God…

  1. beheading the children…wow…we are definitely entering the time of the end…if the ezekiel 38 war happens, that’ll just be icing on the prophetic cake. I definitely said a prayer for them…

We find your site instructive and helpful and recommend it to others especially those becoming aware of the growing apostasy throughout the church which is widespread here in the United Kingdom.    Are you aware of the doubts surrounding the authenticity of this particular prayer request relating to Querabosh in Iraq  .A website alleges that a reputable  English newspaper reported this town overrun in mid-August  Another website says it seems that Dan and Marylyn Wilson are not known.    We have passed on the prayer request to several friends but already one has replied saying they received the same request about 5 weeks ago.     Are you able to reassure us about this email. Without doubt atrocities are being committed by isis  in Iraq and to children and suffering Christians must have our prayer and support.        Derek and Vivien   England

      ** Important Note – Recently emails have circulated soliciting urgent prayer for CRí. The information was originally sent as a text message, in early August, to a few close ministries for prayer as ISIS closed in our team. The text included reports from local pastors that children were being beheaded. This text that went viral was never meant for public distribution. However, we have confirmed through an official in Bagdad that 5 children in Tikrit were beheaded by ISIS, along with many other atrocities in the region. Please continue to pray that ISIS is stopped and the people in Iraq get the help they need!

      • Considering what we know about ISIS and the entire Muslim religion would we really trust SNOPES for the truth? Did anyone note that Mike, who posted this prayer request state he had PERSONAL conversation with CRI?? Stop your naysaying and pray. Yes, I am a bit angered here! Pray for the persecuted church–/!!! We will be IT one day!

  6. Definitely praying about this.
    As a side note: I also pray that people won’t be fooled by the “persecuted” Roman Catholics they keep showing on World News, that are claiming to be ISIS targeted Christians—–who keep kissing rosary beads and praying to Mother Mary, while being filmed.
    Because this is just another part of the great delusion.
    In reality Catholics are buddying up in ecumenical alliances with Islam.
    We must keep defending THE faith—-not the many “faiths” that continue to pose as persecuted Christians.
    And keep praying God will lead His sheep out of those false religions.
