Connecting…

A new project. Please consider joining –

We had the same idea, my friend and I, the same conclusion, at the same time. I was in need of someone local to reach out to a woman half way across the country who I had been working with via phone and text. I needed a live person to go to her, encourage her and pray with her – face to face. There was no one who would be that person. There was no one who felt “equipped”, and therefore the things that she needed from human-Christian contact was lost.

  1. I have had an enquiry from someone who is looking for fellowship “outside the camp”. At the moment I cannot connect her with anyone nearby, but she has asked me to let her know if anyone in her area gets in touch and wants to connect in the future. God bless.

  2. I have recently came out of false teachings and dealing with the enemy coming at me. I’m having a very hard time coming out of this, the attacks are unbearable. I could really use some guidance from anyone who has experienced this.

    • Hi Lynn,

Esther and myself have been serving the Lord, for the past 41 years now and most of that was in church’s where they were not preaching the entire Word of God. We currently are not attending a phsical church building, but are connected with others that have been hurt from today’s church leaders and deceptive teachings. Let us know if we could be of some support. Thanks!

    • LynnW,
In the beginning of this journey, I spent about 10 months nonstop reading, listening, praying, repenting, relearning; I found M’Kayla’s blog, too. I dialogued with her about everything really. It helped me to know that I wasn’t alone, and you’re not! It also helped me to know that I wasn’t crazy. Others were experiencing the same things. I spent nearly 25 years in bad teaching/charismania. The shame and guilt that I experienced was almost life-threatening. Please believe me when I say that it will get better. Keep praying, reading your Bible, and seeking out people like M’Kayla. I’m here to help you, too.

  3. Hi,
I too have finally left all “church attending”.
Just presently reading blogs & websites of others worldwide in similar situations.
Am just praying & waiting on the Lord.
I can be contacted via my own new blog now though.
    Thanks for this blog.
    Blessings in Christ,
    Helen

  4. I don’t go to church. There is something really wrong with the church set up. Is it even scriptural? Was listening to the history of the church by Sean Finnegan. So revealing – hard to listen to some of it because some of the names the church tosses around as being church fathers were so cruel I get why Christ thought the world was so bad. I do too now and am actually afraid of people who call themselves believers but want to force people into believing exactly the way they do. Thank goodness they don’t have enough power to do that or we would probably all be in camps. In many cases their distortion of Christianity makes them scarier than some non believers. Like the religious leaders in Christ’s day. They were the ones that wanted Christ crucified. Non – believers in most cases are blinded by the enemy. I have been told by 3 pastors that I corresponded with, that I wasn’t a Christian because I was not voting for their candidate. Many years ago, Crossley who was on t.v. said the same thing to me because I was not voting for the same person he was. He was later indicted for trying to hire a hit man to kill his girlfriend’s husband. This false Christianity is bad. It is hard to get your mind back to normal if you get taken by it. But we must not mistake it for the real thing which is sometimes hard to do as it is so prevalent. We initially wonder who’s wrong – them or us. They seem wrong because they are so selfish and money oriented and hypocritical and we are so few. But trust Christ, they are wrong even though we are the few. ajc

  5. I have been searching for help for years but no one could help me. Especially to sit down and teach you. It’s glad you help others and meet with them. I wish I could find someone to help me too.
