Wellesley, Massachusetts Public School Students Learn to Pray to Allah

In late May of 2010, Wellesley, Massachusetts public middle school students took a field trip to the Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center – a controversial Saudi-funded mega-mosque run by the Muslim American Society of Bostn. There, the students were separated by gender and the boys were asked to join the Muslim adults in their prayer. Several of the public school boys took part.

Freedom to Worship Allah

Anyone interested in the instructions of the Qu’ran in relation to Islamic infidels and it’s commission to it’s followers on how to handle them, read it Hasan Simply Following The Koran -Ian Vincent.

Anyone continuing to believe this is a religion of peace, as George Bush told us shortly after 9/11,  needs to wake up. We see the evidence of it’s death and destruction here in America even as we see it on their own land. We have allowed this religion to come onto our country, and because of the twist in the true meaning of our constitution in regards to freedom of religion, we allowed them to practice their maniacal beliefs. Now, here we are seeing its effects in the murder of our own people!

From Fox News:

Hasan — a radical Muslim — reportedly shouted “Allahu akbar,” or “God is great” in Arabic, before unloading more than 100 rounds at soldiers preparing to ship off to Iraq and Afghanistan.

I seriously doubt this is anywhere near what the constitution means when it speaks of freedom, the right to bear arms and the freedom to worship. But, we have sat by in silence as we have watched time and again when the true meaning of those words erased by those governing in high places whose job it is to uphold the constitution, not to interpret it according their beliefs.

From the same article:

On Oct. 7, al-Khattab posted a message on the Web calling on Allah to carry out “wrath on the Jewish occupiers of Palestine & their supporters.”

“Please throw liquid drain cleaner in their faces,” he wrote. ” … burn their flammable sukkos while they sleep … Ya Allah (Oh God) answer my duaa (prayer).” (“Sukkos” refers to the Jewish holiday of Sukkot, during which Jews build and eat their meals in outdoor huts known as “sukkahs,” which represent the huts the Jews lived in during their exodus from Egypt.)

Al Khattab insists that his hatred is protected by the First Amendment. “If it was a threat, I’d be in jail,” the 41-year-old al-Khattab told FoxNews.com in October.  (emphasis mine)

Another article from Fox

Judge Andrew Napolitano, Fox News’ senior legal analyst said the posting is “absolutely protected” by the First Amendment.

“All innocuous speech is absolutely protected and all speech is innocuous when there is time for more speech to rebut or address it,” he told Foxnews.com. “So even if this Web site were to call on Muslim freedom fighters to kill Jews, as long as there is time for someone else to challenge this with words, then the originals words are lawful.” (emphasis mine)

What kind of madness, or better yet – evil – are we dealing with here when statements such as this are explained away as protected by our own constitution which was originally put into place to protect Americans? What about protection from enemies foreign and domestic? What about our friends and ally – Israel?  This coming from the same think tank that would condemn Christians from speaking the truth according to the teachings of the one true God – Jehovah- and classifying those teachings as “hate crimes”.  This is madness.

Any Christians out there who still believe it is SAFE to call Jehovah “Allah”?  See my article – Is Allah the Great I AM?.

Maybe I have missed it, but I have yet to hear much of anything from President Obama, who commended Muslims for their “contributions” to this country during Ramadan, but seems to have very little to say about a massacre against people comprising his army of which he is Commander and Chief.  Those very soldiers who died at the hands of a maniac in the name of Allah while making preparations to carry out his command of deployment.

Those set in place to guard America have failed!

Psalm 46

To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of the sons of Korah. A Song for Alamoth.

1 God is our refuge and strength,
A very present help in trouble.
2 Therefore we will not fear,
Even though the earth be removed,
And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
3 Though its waters roar and be troubled,
Though the mountains shake with its swelling.  Selah

4 There is a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God,
The holy place of the tabernacle of the Most High.
5 God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved;
God shall help her, just at the break of dawn.
6 The nations raged, the kingdoms were moved;
He uttered His voice, the earth melted.

7 The LORD of hosts is with us;
The God of Jacob is our refuge.  Selah

8 Come, behold the works of the LORD,
Who has made desolations in the earth.
9 He makes wars cease to the end of the earth;
He breaks the bow and cuts the spear in two;
He burns the chariot in the fire.

10 Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth!

11 The LORD of hosts is with us;
The God of Jacob is our refuge.  Selah

Allah And The Unknown God

This is a continuation that began with my last article – Is Allah the Great I AM?. As I was reading a booklet on how to share the gospel with Muslims I found the following statement:

When we witness to Muslims, we may safely use the name “Allah” for God. It is the name Arab Christians use, and to use any other name would only bring confusion and be a disadvantage in our witness. The Muslim’s concept of Allah is incomplete. (emphasis mine)

Since the author either believes that Jehovah and Allah are one in the same, or that God is the English or universal name for Allah, he also believes the Muslim’s concept of Allah is incomplete. In this he refers to the “Unknown God”  Paul spoke of in the 17th Chapter of the book of Acts.

However, the issue here is not the fact that the Muslim’s concept of Allah is incomplete. That is silly in itself. Allah is not God. The problem is that they do not know Jehovah God and their knowledge of Him and the gospel of Jesus Christ is nonexistent. There is a difference. And as my previous article proved Jehovah and Allah have nothing in common, they are not one in the same.  It is far from safe to refer to Jehovah as Allah. It is downright blasphemous! He also stated that to use any other name would only bring confusion and be a disadvantage to our witness. Don’t we come in the name of Jesus Christ? Isn’t He the one who died for our sins? But, let’s not use His name, he says. I can’t get around this. I cannot.

It is God who brings the increase – I Corinthians 2:7; the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him – I Corinthians 2:14; the Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin – John 16:9.

Paul found that the city was filled with idols and was provoked in his spirit. He reasoned in the synagogue with both Jews and Gentiles and in the marketplace. He preached Jesus!  The men knew he was speaking strange things, and they wanted to know what he meant by them. That is when he noticed an altar built to an unknown god. So, Paul proclaimed Him, the one they did not know, the only true God, the creator, one to be worshiped without things made by human hands. He explained to them that God put them right where they were at so that they would seek Him, grope for Him and find Him. And he proclaimed, for in Him we live and move and have our being!

Some mocked Paul. Some became believers. But, there was only the truth, pure and simple. Paul did not encourage or even suggest that they call on God by using a name of an idol god. In all my reading lately of Paul, I can’t see anywhere he would suggest such a thing.

If we are to be effective in once again becoming powerful witnesses of Christ, we need to move from silly notions that appease man. Trickery cannot lead to salvation. It cannot.

Is Allah The Great “I AM”?

Last night I was reading a booklet on how to share the gospel with Muslims. The booklet stated this:

When we witness to Muslims, we may safely use the name “Allah” for God. It is the name Arab Christians use, and to use any other name would only bring confusion and be a disadvantage in our witness. The Muslim’s concept of Allah is incomplete.  (emphasis mine)

Kinda stops you right in your tracks, doesn’t it? It did me.

Names are more than just a better way of calling out “hey you!” Names have significant meanings as to the attributes and character of the person to whom they are given. This is something forgotten in our day, but it is very important. We see this throughout the bible.  More importantly we see this as a way to know and understand the very character of God.

Exodus 2:13 Then Moses said to God, “indeed when I come to the children of Israel and say to them, The God of your fathers has sent me to you, and they say to me, What is His name? what shall I say to them?”

14 And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.”  And He said “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, “I AM has sent me to you.”

15 Moreover God said to Moses, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel” The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Issac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you.  This is My name forever, and this is My memorial to all generations. (NASB states ..”this is My memorial-name to all generations.”)

Allah can never make these claims. He is not the I AM. He is not the God of Abraham, Issac or Jacob.  Thus his name and the claims behind it could never be a memorial-name to all generations.

Allah may be known in the Qu’ran as the Supreme One, but He is not the I AM. Nor is he truly supreme either, but that’s the ego of satan who got kicked out of heaven for believing he would ascend the throne of the Most High – Isaiah 14:14. See a similarity in the claims here?

A note regarding the scripture referenced above from the NASB states – The phrase “I AM: in Hebrew is closely related to God’s personal name (Ex 6:3 Jehovah or Yahweh or YHWH) which occurs more than 6,000 times in the O.T.  Though the meaning is not completely clear to scholars, it seems to suggest the timelessness of God, the very foundation of all existence.  Perhaps there is a hint to this in Rev. 1:4 “from Him who is, and who was, and who is to come.” Jesus probably alluded to this in John 8:58 “Before Abraham was born, I AM.” Christ is the same yesterday and today, yes and forever (Heb. 13:8).

From Isaiah:

7:14″Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.”  (The literal meaning God with us)  See also Matthew 1:23

9:6 And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace…”,

God is known by many other names that tell us who He is – El Elyon, the Most High; El Shaddai, Almighty God or God, all powerful and all sufficient; Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who sees, or the Lord will see to it; Jehovah Rophi, the Lord who heals; Jehovah Makkeh, the Lord who smites, Jehovah Tsebaioth, the Lord of Hosts.  (Information taken from Knowing God by Name, David Wilkerson).

Jesus, highly exalted, the name above all names – Philippians 2:9; Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved – Acts 4:10-12.

As you can see and probably already are aware, God has many, many names. None of them being Allah. The names of God tell us who He is.  In the same manner we can see who Allah is by the Qu’ran in which he commissions his people to kill all non-believers. He has no love for Jews or Christians whatsoever. We can see it in the news as nearly everyday someone is murdered at the hands of the followers of Allah who claim him to be great.

God does not command that His people kill unbelievers, but that we love them and show them the way to salvation through Jesus Christ. God is one of love and compassion. Allah is one of hatred, death and utter destruction. There can be no confusing the two. “God” is not the English equivalent of Allah.

I am sure whoever wrote this booklet did so with good intentions. Maybe the author was taking information from another source and hadn’t bothered to check it for himself. I certainly know what it is like to take someone who is trusted at their word. But, this author is completely mistaken. The claim that we may safely call Jehovah Allah is a pretty scary idea that should make any Christian shudder in unbelief! Someone needs to warn Arab Christians calling Jehovah God “Allah” is nothing short of blasphemy. He is not the great I AM. He is not the God of their salvation.

A Call

You may first want to read the previous article Rallying To Be Heard as it prefaced what I am getting into now.

Yesterday I received an e-mail for a call to prayer sent by Lou Engle. If you aren’t familiar with him or his ministry you can find his website here  – TheCall.  I don’t receive e-mails from him directly, but this one was forwarded to me from someone else. (Someone who probably now wishes they hadn’t.)

Lou’s message bothered me on several counts. First of all, he came out of Promise Keepers and felt a “call” to begin setting up prayer rallies involving people, especially teenagers and young adults to fast and pray and then join together at these all day prayer rallies held all over the country. These seem more like the old testament way of a solemn assembly than they do a joining of new testament believers.

The previous article address the biblical reasons why I disagree with these ideas so I won’t rehash them. But to those issues I will add that it bothers me kids are always pulled into these things. Don’t get me wrong, I do believe they should be taught to fast and pray among other things – train up a child – however, I see this more as the responsibly of the parents, namely the fathers, than their children. It always seems men with agendas are after the youth, good or bad. Jesus called grown men to follow and to teach, not the kiddies. He didn’t call the women because we just naturally follow after Him, huh ladies?  Ok, kidding, kidding!

There is another issue I had with that e-mailed request. I do not understand why these people always seem to associate an event with a prophetic sign.  I did not understand that even when I was one of them. They believe every thing has a meaning and are very quick to find one and call it prophetic. How do they know, how can any of us know that what they say is the sign, truly is the sign. Blind faith in them?

Islamic Unity on Capitol Hill

Islamic Unity on Capitol Hill

Yes, on September 25 the dreaded Muslim, Islamic, “Jummah” day of prayer at the Capitol. We didn’t get our day of prayer, the National Day of Prayer, set aside and practiced by all presidents for decades past but this one! Just this one, Obama, who claims he is a Christian, who claims he prayed in private that day, who claims to go to a church, location private, who recognizes Muslim contributions  – and more – to our society – that president.

Our president, who had Rick Warren, “America’s Pastor” and claimed “Christian” pray at his Inauguration to   – Isa –  in the name of Isa of the Muslim religion, not the Christian Savior of the world. Now we have prayer Muslim prayer at the Capitol. Of course we do. (I’ve heard this is not the first time but I will agree that the Muslim influence seems to be growing in our country!)

Back to my point with Lou Engle who believes that the lack of support on our National Day and the support for the Islamic Day have some significance in what God is trying to bring to our country, and that the sign is a young, run-away teenager.

Here is a clip from the e-mail –

However, I believe in this moment of divine providence God has raised up on the stage of history a little “Esther” that if we pray and fast for her she could be a major voice to expose the dark under-belly of Islam and radiate a bright hope for a day of salvation for Muslims in America.

Oh, the last “Esther” we had, only last year, was Sarah Palin. Here’s the new one Rifqa Bary, a young 17-year-old woman

woman?

Jesus was the one raised up and that He is our hope! Not a person  – and I don’t care who says otherwise, he is wrong!

This convergence, I believe, is urgently summoning us in the midst of the rising tide of Islamic influence in America to recognize that our God is above every god and that if we return to Him with all of our hearts and call upon Him with fasting and prayer then God could use what the enemy meant for evil to bring about a great day of salvation for Muslims in America, of which Rifqa is but a major sign.

On Friday, September 25th, the Muslim Day of Prayer, we are calling the Church of America to fast and pray that Muslims would be moved by the Holy Spirit, convicted by the testimony of Christ, and even be visited by Jesus in dreams. We must pray that God would restrain the spiritual powers behind Islam and grant us the great awakening that we desperately need for America. Let us hear the call to prayer and not miss this moment.

Islam is here in America because we allow freedom of religion in this country.

Now, whatever that meant early on  – and most of us agree it was the freedom to practice Christianity – is not what it means today. We allowed people with different religions to come here in America and we have allowed them to practice those religions under what we claim is the freedom to do so. That is the reason we find ourselves in this situation. Not because we are in a catalyst moment due of the plight and the life of a young woman.

It is not enough that they themselves are elitists, but they will drag unsuspecting people right in there with them, give them a biblical name and mission to go right along with it.  And they always use the old testament and I find that so strange that they come in the name of the Lord, yet they leave out the emphasis of the new covenant in Jesus! And this, the wonderful story of Ester, they have twisted around to fit their purpose! If you read it, you will see what I am talking about.

(I totally sympathize with Rifqa’s situation and I will get to that in a different article. No one has the right to kill anyone else no matter who they call their “god”.) – <<UPDATE – See my comment #4>>

And, “great awakening” is again, the dominionist/kingdom now idea that there will be a great revival to come on the earth. The bible says there will be a great falling away.

But, there is more and this one really bothers me.  He said this –

and even be visited by Jesus in dreams

It sounds nice, even possible. After all, our God can do anything He wants, can’t He? He can make anything happen because He is God. But, does He?  Is this how He brings unbelievers to repentance by dream visits? Or when believers fast and pray because doing so removes the evil presence of the demonic hold (more dominionism). Because I thought salvation came through hearing the word (Romans 10:17) and by revelation and conviction of the Holy Spirit (John 16:8-9). I thought this was the reason we were told to preach the gospel (Luke 24:47, 2 Timothy 4:2). Speak it with words, not ask for dreams to do it for us.

I know from experience that it is very dangerous to ask or to expect God to work in a way that He has not designed. I know that this opens us to the demonic. This is why I am so upset at this kind of thing! We need to be very careful in what we teach others and what we ask or expect of God!

One more thing that I find interesting in all of this is the similarities between Rick Warren’s in the name of “Isa” prayer and the claims of dreams from the muslims of the man in white. When I first heard about these dreams some years ago I thought it was wonderful that Jesus was revealing Himself in dreams to these people. But, now, I know better. And just because it is a man in white, does not make him the Messiah. Remember, satan disguises himself as an angel of light!

Please, please, it is so easy to get all fired up and excited. But let’s be careful and make every effort to uphold Christ and the true ways taught in the bible over our emotional responses and fleshy expectations! Let’s be sober-minded!

And, yes, let’s do pray that the gospel of our Lord is preached to every muslim person in our country and that they would see the truth and repent. And maybe that means that we will be required to share our faith face to face with a muslim nearby. Let’s be ready!

Jesus is Lord!
