Movies that Imitate Christianity, Blogtalk – Susan Puzio

I just had another blogtalk with Susan Puzio addressing some of the things I had previously been involved with. We also looked at the NRB Proclaim 16 conference that went on this past week, the speakers and contributors and the movies that are being released.

I see there is a mix of Christianity, Catholicism with influences of other beliefs, most of which will not be backed up in scripture. Have a listen, watch the movie trailers linked at Proclaim 16 on the footer that I spoke of and use the information to help others avoid these pitfalls. With all the information we have available it is easy to connect the dots. By using our bible as reference it is just as easy to recognize false doctrine coming from these movies.

We need to rid ourselves of emotions and think clearly and soberly at these deceptions which will grow stronger and more convincing as time goes on. There is a real coming together of religions forming as one. The media, entertainment sectors of our society, as well as our government are helping it take shape. Many are blind and need help to see.

Building the Sphere of Media Influence

1 John 2:15 Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world. 17 The world is passing away, and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God lives forever.

Upcoming next month, Proclaim 16

Proclaim 16, the NRB International Christian Media Convention, is a four-day, jam-packed event that connects, equips, and edifies thousands of Christian communicators – from broadcasters to producers, writers to publishers, managers to pastors, artists to consultants. This is a “must attend” event for Christian communicators. You will hear outstanding internationally known speakers and artists, have the opportunity to attend numerous networking events, and receive helpful industry insights.

If you’ve attended before, you know the Convention is only half of the attraction. Experience our award-winning Exposition, featuring approximately 200 companies. The booths of the exhibit floor make up an active marketplace of products and services that can expand and enhance your organization. From innovative ideas and endeavors to must-have tools and equipment to organizations that influence millions around the world, the Expo has it all!

This event is a coming together under what can only be described the NAR (New Apostolic Reformation) 7 Mountains, the sphere of Media/Entertainment. If you aren’t familiar with the 7 Mountains, it’s based on the premise that we, as believers, must take over the world for Christ. Until this is accomplished Christ cannot return, the belief which is commonly referred to as “dominionism”. There are believed to be 7 areas (spheres, mountains, etc.) of societal or cultural influence, being Religion, Family, Education, Government, Media, Arts/Entertainment, Business. The 7 Mountains came around years back when scripture from 2 Corinthians 10 was taken out of context and applied as  personal direction to a small group of Christian friends. Since that time, the concept has been popularized by many people – C Peter Wagner, Cindy Jacobs, Bill Johnson, Rick Joyner, etc., and the most well known teacher of this theory is Lance Wallnau. For more information, please refer to  7 Mountain – Dominion and New Apostolic Reformation Categories here on my blog.

As the quote above states  scheduled speakers, include Rick Warren, Roma Downey, and the Kindrick Brothers, combined with supporters such as TBN, CBN, Regent University. See here for a line up of speakers, and here for the detailed schedule.

We know from previous research that Rick Warren is heavily into supporting what he terms Chrislam, the combining of Christian beliefs with Islam. We are also aware of his peace plan which mirrors that of the United Nations and that his methods for promoting Christianity is far from scriptural as with everything else he does.

We know that Roma Downey is Catholic and her version of what she deems Christianity is much different from that of the bible. Yet she and her husband have made a name for themselves through the media and false teaching.

We know that the Kindrick Brothers create some great movies- but at the core they are based on emotionalism, which is of the flesh and their themes are grounded in word of faith teaching. Their last movie The War Room starred a woman who heavily promotes contemplative prayer, who isn’t even an actress. I will not discount the thought there is a deliberate connection between the two. Having been an “intercessor” with an organization which had a “war room” I can attest these ideas are rooted in pride. Yes, we are called to pray, but not in the way this movie and word of faith teaches. Please understand that there is a difference. Read a well-written and informative review of the movie here.

We know the organizations of Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) and Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN, 700 Club) both promote false prophets and teachers of charismania, word of faith, the supernatural of false dreams and visions, etc.

We know that we are warned in scripture to not do as the pagans or unbelievers and to not be like them and have discussed this point often in exposing false teachings and the practice of other religions as part of Christianity.

We know that in the end times there will be a joining together of religions and this is the main concern I have with these types of gatherings. As with this event we can clearly see this taking place. Many of us are already aware because of the deception going on inside churches and para-church organizations as we have witnessed our churches becoming something other than what they once were and our warnings to wake up go unheeded.

Aside from that is also the fact that this method of spreading the gospel is based on man-made effort of the world and not on the reliance of the Holy Spirit and spiritual gifts, the things that set us apart from the world.

Instead, we see some of the most well known and influential people deemed as Christians joining forces with the Hollywood movie and film industry. We should seriously stop and think about that last point because most everything coming out of Hollywood shows a vehement hate for God and Christianity as a whole. Do I also need to point out the horror stories of forced sex, rape and molestation that goes along with Hollywood careers of wanna-be and established actors and actresses?

So why do these “movers and shakers” of Christianity join forces with them? I believe we have already had that answer given to us which we should take great heed to understand – Matthew 24. I would find it safe, though very sad to say that most of the speakers and exhibitors listed in the links above no longer stand for Jesus Christ. This is why our care and concern is needed when one claims to come in the name of Jesus and offers to teach others. And yes, they will often give the basics of the gospel correctly, but it is what they do and say after those words that will tell whether they are truly of God. It is also defined in who they join forces with. These are areas that we need to pay close attention to. It is not enough that someone uses the name of Jesus.

What is the fruit? Is it money? Is it fame and fortune? I believe this to be the case for Proclaim 16, as I see it as a set up for what is coming on the earth. Jesus said His kingdom is not of this world (John 8:36 )! Why are they trying to make it as though it is?

Have nothing to do with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. Ephesians 5:11

America’s Pastor, and Another Move for One World Religion

Nearly 4 years ago, Rick Warren posed  – yes – posed the inaugural prayer for Obama. At the end of his words he stated “in the name of Isa”. Is there NOW any wonder left for us as to why he said such a thing, being famed as “America’s Pastor”?

One world religion, anyone?

Adding a new article to this listing found here – Rick Warren and…

Warren openly attempts to unite Christians and Muslims –

The Rev. Rick Warren, pastor of Saddleback Church in Lake Forest and one of America’s most influential Christian leaders, has embarked on an effort to heal divisions between evangelical Christians and Muslims by partnering with Southern California mosques and proposing a set of theological principles that includes acknowledging that Christians and Muslims worship the same God.  read more

could be an uprising…

There is enough connection between the upcoming Awakening 2011, the Purpose Driven ~everything~, the P.E.A.C.E. plan, ObamaCare, the Daniel Diet, Rick Warren together with Tony Blair and the upcoming presidential election to know these are not simply ships passing in the night.

This is an uprising.

American.

Antichrist.

Maybe both.

Twenty years ago who of us would have thought we would see this coming together under the guise of Christianity?

I considered there had to be a connection between Mike Huckabee and Rick Warren, then I came across this article written by James Sundquist. It’s another piece of the puzzle.

Mike Huckabee: Purpose-Driven President 2012? His Church is!

I am a conservative Christian and at first was interested in supporting Mike Huckabee for President, after hearing him stand up for Creation and oppose Evolution on the CNN Republican Presidential Debate.

However, upon researching his biography, other statements he has made, and the teachings promoted by his church, I discovered the following, so I can tell you now why I am not supporting Mike Huckabee for President.

Just when I thought maybe when we had a good prospect running for President….Well I wish I had good news for you!

I think you and your people should know where Republican President Candidate Mike Huckabee stands on Rick Warren.

Huckabee says,

“Our church in Little Rock is very similar to Rick Warren’s. We’ve gone from 25 members to about 5,000 in eight years. Our focus has been to minister to people who were otherwise neglected. We built a ministry center before we even had a sanctuary. We held our services in warehouses until a year or two ago.” The center contains a range of faith-based initiatives: welfare to work, job training, programs for recovering alcoholics and drug addicts, a food bank. “We are a multicultural, multiracial congregation, with rich and poor,” Huckabee says. “I play the bass in the Praise band.” SOURCE: http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,1599708,00.html

It is a lot like Rick Warren’s church all right. Here is his church’s website:

http://www.churchatrockcreek.org/

which promotes Warren’s Celebrate Recovery,

won Warren’s Church Health Award:

“Since 1999, Purpose-Driven ministries have honored four to six churches each year that have shown excellence in adapting the Purpose-Driven paradigm to their congregation. With thousands of churches having participated in the “40 Days of Purpose” discipleship program in recent months, Purpose-Driven decided to honor 79 churches this year. Each church received a check for $1,000.

And here is a quote from Huckabee’s teaching pastor Greg Kirskey’s sermon entitled Fire Extinguisher…available on the church website:

“No human emotion poses a greater threat to our health and happiness than fear.”
And this is posted by Huckabee’s Senior Pastor Mark Evans:

” Mark Evans is the founder and Senior Pastor of The Church at Rock Creek. Understanding that many people don’t go to church because it is boring and irrelevant, Mark began Rock Creek in 1995. Believing that people really do matter to God, Rock Creek has grown from 25 people to over 5,000 attending the weekend services. Rock Creek was featured in Church Growth magazine’s list of “The 100 Fastest Growing Churches in America.”
&

The community-focused ministries at Rock Creek – a hands on computer lab, an employment training agency, a food bank, and a car repair ministry – led President Bush to select The Church at Rock Creek as the backdrop for a discussion about the role faith-based organizations play in changing the landscape of America.
And of course, RIck Warren’s PEACE Plan and Discovery Classes:

DISCOVER YOUR MISSION

The Hall of Fame Class is the fourth class in Rock Creek’s Life Development Process. In this class you will learn how to connect other people to God by using your story of how He has worked in your life. You will also be introduced to the P.E.A.C.E. Plan, a radical missions approach that is a key part of how Rock Creek does missions. In addition, we will help you develop and execute your own personal mission statement.

THE P.E.A.C.E. PLAN

Rock Creek does missions through a radical new strategy called the P.E.A.C.E. Plan. Through P.E.A.C.E. your small group will become equipped to address the world’s five global giants: spiritual lostness, corrupt leadership, poverty, disease and lack of education.

The P.E.A.C.E. plan is designed to mobilize ordinary church members to do normal tasks that can change the world. Everyone can participate through personal, local, and global P.E.A.C.E. projects. God can and will use you and our missions team is here to help you get started.

If you are not ready to go overseas, there are personal and local dimensions to this strategy that do not require any travel at all. Rock Creek’s Hall of Fame Class prepares you to live out the P.E.A.C.E. Plan.

And of course Warren’s baseball diamond: http://www.churchatrockcreek.org/lifedevelopment.htm

And like Warren, Huckabee is a graduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Any questions?

Therefore, you have to ask your self, do you want a sold-out Warrenite to be your next President?

I am afraid to even ask him what his position is on Israel!

Saddleback Criticized!!!

2 Corinthians 6:14-15 Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? 15 And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever?

Apparently, Rick Warren “pastor” of Saddleback has received a bit of criticism in response to his “Daniel Plan” and subsequent teaching given by the three experts – Oz, Hymen, and Amen.

Imagine that!

Lighthouse Trails has produced an informative article exposing exactly why this practice should be avoided and all that it entails.

Saddleback’s Response to Criticism Over Daniel Plan– An Unscriptural Paradox!

Peace in a Globalized Society

Hi Guys!

I haven’t listened to all of this video, but wanted to put the link up so that you can become more aware of what was discussed.

The place of faith in the transformation of societies in North Africa was a key area of the conversation. Tony Blair said:

“All over the region, as their societies become more open, they will have people of different faiths. It is essential to begin that dialogue. If we can also establish a faith dialogue and partnership, that in itself will be of major importance. It is far more likely that democratic systems will take root and will deliver prosperity and opportunity if there is an open and respectful attitude, according dignity to those of another faith. Whilst being completely true to their tradition and religion, people can be open also to others of a different religion.”

Tony Blair and Rick Warren also took head on the misconception that engaging with those of other faiths means a dilution of one’s own religious beliefs.

Pastor Rick stated: “Interfaith dialogue doesn’t mean compromising your faith; it means understanding somebody else’s and not watering it down. We’re not trying to find the lowest common denominator we’re saying, ‘But how can we get along?'”

Rick Warren and Tony Blair  – Saddleback Civil Forum

We live, work and play in a world that is made up of many religions. As Christians we are called to love and to preach the gospel to everyone. We are not called to promote peace in a “globalized society”.  We are not called to find a “common good” between people so that we can all get along together. (We already do that!) There is no good in any of us.  Nor should we be manipulated by rulers or apostates to follow them in finding methods to share the faith separate from what has been laid out for us in scripture.

There will be no true peace until Jesus Christ returns and sets up His own kingdom. We cannot begin that process without Him and He will be the only one to initialize it. Until then all efforts are futile. Watch who you walk after.

Isaiah 9:6-8

6 For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
7 Of the increase of His government and peace
There will be no end,
Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom,
To order it and establish it with judgment and justice
From that time forward, even forever.
The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.

Matthew 16:26

26 For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?

Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?

Pastor’s Convention Aim to Plant More Churches

We don’t need another conference or more sermons…but what we need is a fresh awakening, a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit that would begin something that would literally change the world, said Pitman, who is also the lead pastor of Hope Baptist Church in Las Vegas, Nev.

This convention is the Aspire Conference linked in the first article The quoted comment sounds just like those involved in charismania who constantly look for the next move, the next outpouring as though God needs to do something more for us than He already has. The true message is one of repentance. It is our responsibility to respond to God in heeding the message already laid out. Planting churches is a great goal if there is proper need. But in looking at the big picture, these men are no longer bringing a gospel message, but one mixed with many other focuses. When the message of the cross has become “Jesus and” it is no longer the true gospel. It has become heretical.

Chuck Colson Breakpoint:

Video Series by Chuck Colson and Rick Warren -Christian leaders Chuck Colson and Rick Warren have joined together to produce a stimulating study called Wide Angle: Framing Your Worldview.

Keep in mind the previous push for signatures on the Manhattan Declaration. Is it a wonder Chuck Colson has also teamed up with Warren being they are both “purpose driven”? When I hear the word “worldview” it makes me think dominionism or one world religion/government. I know some who use this word do not have that in their view or teaching, but many others do and we will see that connection between those who have evil intent.

“What influenced the choices were their accomplishments in 2010, polling data and frequency of mention in the press.”1 What the article does not say though is that all three of these “leaders” in Christianity are contemplative proponents, which means that in view of this huge influence, thousands and thousands are being influenced toward contemplative spirituality (a belief system that ultimately leads to New Age thinking).

Lighthouse Trails has some very good reference material regarding the New Age and false christs. I highly recommend these books and teachings!

Warren Visits Bethany for Conference

He (Warren) said he has trained more than 400,000 people in the 40-day, “Purpose Driven” program in 164 foreign nations, and some of those people have told him, “The uprisings are not religious or political; everybody is working together.”

In introducing Warren to the conference audience, the Rev. Larry Stockstill, senior pastor at Bethany, said Warren has “an apostolic calling on a worldwide scale.”

“A mantle that Billy Graham has been carrying is falling upon him,” Stockstill said. Warren’s “greatest desire is to see the American pastor and pastors across this globe develop a purity of lifestyle that shines like stars in the firmament.”

On Rick Warren’s Health Seminar

I was very happy to find a testimony from someone who had first hand knowledge of the goings on at this seminar. It is so important to the church that we get the truth out there. Please pay attention if you still think Warren is a Christian. This is only one thing he has his hand in. There are others and he is proving to be quite dangerous.

The following is written by a LighthouseTrails reader and researcher who attended Rick Warren’s health seminar on January 15, 2011

Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness…. Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!” Isaiah 5:20-21

I first arrived to Saddleback’s campus only to be told that “all parking lots were full.” I drove across the street to see if there were any spots available in the business lots, and they were full too. I ended up parking in a housing tract and walked a mile or two back to Saddleback’s campus. As I arrived, I overheard a parking lot attendant say they estimated about 6,000 people had come to the seminar.I was a little late, so I was grateful to my nephew who went online and began to relay what was being said in the opening comments, as I didn’t want to miss what was to be the foundation of the talks that day. I was a little taken aback when my nephew told me the first speaker, Dr. Amen, made reference to the Egyptian pyramids and how they were built upon an “idea,” and if man could build something like that all those thousands of years ago, what could he do today if he put his mind to it? I found that to be somewhat disturbing, as the pyramids, no matter how impressive they were, represent the ancient pagan religions which got their start in Babylon when Nimrod gathered men (the community) together to commit idolatry by building a tower to honor themselves as gods (Gen. Ch. 11).[1]

And yet here it was, the analogy that was chosen to illustrate this new “idea” Saddleback would launch their 52 week program with. No matter what Dr. Amen’s intent was, I believe the analogy was appropriate, and the subtle message is telling…”MAN CAN DO ANYTHING HE PUTS HIS MIND TO.” Sound familiar? (Read Gen. 3:4-5).[2]

As I began to head up the hill toward the main sanctuary, a Saddleback tram pulled up and the driver asked if I wanted a lift. I said I preferred to walk, but thanks. The driver yelled, “Let’s all give her a hand folks, she’s started the Daniel Plan already!” And the people on the tram cheered. Never mind the fact that I have been walking my entire life because I enjoy doing so, not because of some health and fitness campaign. I sensed I was entering a nightmare.

The main sanctuary was full, & it was standing room only. They told me the overflow areas were full too. So I found a spot on the patio outside the main sanctuary looking in. I had a good view and could see the stage perfectly. Their outdoor sound system made it so I could roam around, observe the audience, continue to listen to the guest speakers, and take notes.

To begin, I’d like to state that Saturday Jan. 15th, 2011 will go down in the history books as the day Saddleback Church was sold a bill of goods. The masses had come out in droves for answers to their weight loss difficulties & health problems, but unbeknownst to them, they were being given a prescription for restructuring society & population control.

The prescription goes by the name Agenda 21, a.k.a. “Sustainable Development” or “Smart Growth.” Agenda 21 is a published document put out by the United Nations with the intent to put limits on population and to restructure nation-states into a global society.[3] Rick Warren’s “new friends” had dubbed it, “The Daniel Plan – God’s Prescription For Your Health.” A more appropriate title would’ve been, “Sustainable Living – Destroying Inalienable Rights, One Community at a Time.”

By the time I settled into listening more intently, the second speaker, Mark Hyman, began. It didn’t take too long to figure out what the basis of his message was: We “need to heal with community” (he termed this “accompaniment”), “we’re here for the sake of each other,” this plan “is our way out,” this plan “saved me,” and in fact will “change the world.”

Saddleback was being told they were a “test community” to show the world how to live “healthy and sustainably.” When I heard these words, my heart sank. It was as I’d feared. I knew which buzzwords to listen for, and he was hitting them all. The audience was told they would be champions in health to show the world what “living sustainably” was all about, but Dr. Hyman is a leftist who is more than a champion in health, he’s a change agent for the global elite, as is Dr. Oz & Dr. Amen. Dr. Hyman is the founder and medical director of the Ultra Wellness Center, he advises Dr. Oz’s healthcore group, and he’s a nominee to President Obama’s advisory group on prevention, health promotion, and integrative and public health. [4] Hmmmmmm. I smell an agenda.

Dr. Hyman practices what’s known as “functional medicine,” which means he uses a “whole systems” approach to medicine; in other words, he practices medicine “wholistically,” This is also known as “Mind Body” medicine. At Saddleback’s seminar, “mind body” or “functional” medicine was presented as if it’s completely scientific. Any scientist worth his salt will tell you that yes, the body can be measured scientifically, but the mind falls into an entirely different category which can never be measured by science. As stated by Dave Hunt in his book Occult Invasion – The Subtle Seduction of the World and Church, “Physical science, by very definition, can make no judgments concerning a nonphysical realm” as is the mind & the soul.[5] In other words, the mind and the soul are scientifically immeasurable.

It’s the same with the religions of “Mind Science.” Calling a religion “Mind Science” or “Scientology,” when there’s nothing scientific about it, is the same as calling a cereal “Grapenuts” when it contains no grapes or nuts. But we live in an era when the masses have been sufficiently dumbed down, and all it takes to impress is clever packaging and branding. If “they” say it’s science, then dog-gone-it, it’s science! After all, “these doctors are on television.”

As I sat through all 3 presentations by Dr.’s Hyman, Amen, & Oz, what came to mind were the traveling salesmen of the 1800s. They talk fast, so fast that the message that’s really being given, goes right over people’s heads. They used tactics to tug at the heart strings such as videos of sick little girls who suddenly got well from being on “the program” and have been “set free” from relying on medications. Then they flooded the audience with “facts” and “statistics” to scare any grandmother, such as “a tsunami of disease is hitting us,” “life expectancy is going down,” “1 out of 2 people are diabetic or pre-diabetic,” “70% of all agricultural land is taken up by growing animals to feed all the people,” “the bigger your body gets, the more your brain shrinks,” etc.

I about fell off my chair when Dr. Hyman stated, “The key to the success of the “Daniel Plan” is “group living” … “individuals” will not succeed, our only hope lies in “community.” [LT Note:This is exactly what the emerging church is teaching.]  And with that, it was announced that the “Saddleback community” would be an example of “sustainable living” and would set the course to “change this world” … and the crowd went wild!  [LT Note: Remember, when we reported how Rick Warren talked glowingly about a critical mass needed to change our world?]

Dr. Hyman said that he is a Jew, Dr. Amen said he is a Christian, and Dr. Oz said he is a Muslim. And doesn’t that represent the demographic of “most of the population of the world”? But then he said, “we’re all the same underneath.” True to his salesman fashion, Dr. Hyman didn’t define his terms. What in the world does he mean “we’re all the same underneath”? That can mean a number of things. Since he was speaking to a religious crowd, I’d venture to say some of the folks present took that to mean we’re all children of God (Jews, Muslims, Christians, Hindus, Buddhists, etc.), which is patently false according to the Bible. The Bible says there are only two groups, children of wrath and children of God. You’re either one or the other, a believer in Christ Jesus, or a non-believer. We aren’t “all the same underneath.” (Ephesians Ch. 2).[6]

The only way in which we’re “all the same underneath” is we’re all sinners in need of a Savior; and the Savior isn’t “sustainable living.” [LT Note: Remember, the New Age says the era of the single savior is OVER!] The Savior is Jesus Christ, and He is the only way unto salvation (John 14:6).[7] And to become a child of God, Jesus said, “You must be born again” (John Ch. 3). [8] The tragic thing about this day at Saddleback is, Jesus was never mentioned … and I mean NEVER. There were a few passing references to God; Daniel Amen mentioned that our bodies were “a temple of the Holy Spirit and the brain is the inner sanctum” [Amen means that all humans are the temple of the Holy Spirit], but Jesus never made the cut –  ”sustainable lifestyles” and “group living” did.

Following Dr. Hyman’s talk, my best friend arrived to observe the day with me, only to hear Dr. Amen mention in his presentation that he did a brain scan on one of his clients who had a habit of cheating on his wife. The brain scan showed that there were “holes in the pre-frontal cortex of his brain” which controls the impulses. In other words, this man wasn’t sinful, he was “mentally ill.” All he needed was to get on the “Change Your Brain, Change Your Body” program, and his personal struggles with sin were remedied. Once again, Jesus was removed from the equation. My friend and I were dumbfounded when we listened to the Saddleback crowd cheer. My best friend couldn’t contain it any longer and let out a, “You’ve got to be kidding me.” My thoughts exactly!

Dr. Hyman recommended Yoga and meditation to the crowd. Dr. Amen gave a diplomatic denunciation of Yoga (which is contradictory since he has recommended it himself), but about 5 sentences later mentioned a study done by a friend of his named Andy Newberg who did brain scans on Tibetan nuns and Franciscan priests while in “prayer and contemplation” and the study showed that “spiritual connection” is healthy. Dr. Amen has been an advocate of “Sa Ta Na Ma” meditation.[9]

If by chance any attendees of the Saddleback “Health and Fitness Seminar” read this blog post, I encourage you to educate yourself about what globalism truly is. You also need to research Agenda 21. As stated earlier, the purpose of Agenda 21 is to restructure society. Sounds conspiratorial, I know. But it isn’t a conspiracy; it’s a published document of the United Nations that’s in full swing. Anywhere you hear the terms, “Sustainable Development,”  ”sustainable living,” “smart growth,”  ”going green,”  etc., rest assured you’ve just been exposed to the U.N.’s Agenda 21. [10]

It shouldn’t surprise us that Rick Warren would allow a seminar of this nature at Saddleback; after all, he himself has “GONE GREEN.” [11] He is also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.[12] This illustrates the natural progression of one being unequally yoked with non-believers & buying into heresies such as “Kingdom Now,” “Dominionism,” or “Restoration Theology.” Where these heresies reign, as they do at Saddleback, you will find that the focus subtly shifts from salvation in Christ alone, through faith alone, to misguided efforts to restore mankind & the earth through “community” works, sustainable living, and social justice. How convenient that these just happen to be the vehicles which the United Nations is using to further it’s own agenda to restructure society & unite the world under its governing body of global elites.

TRUE TRUTH: “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.” 2 Timothy 4:3-4

(I found it to be slightly humorous that, on page 9 of the booklet which Saddleback passed out to attendees, the symptom of “itchy ears” was listed in the “Medical Symptom/Toxicity Questionnaire”…oh, the irony!) (source: Ponderings from Patmos)

Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
