Johanna Michaelson The Beautiful Side of Evil

This woman is very well researched and the telling of her personal experiences while involved in the occult –  disguised as Christianity –  is quite chilling, unlike anything I have ever heard. It just goes to prove how active Satan is against God’s children. Please take time to listen and pass the clip on to as many as you can.

In Blindness and In Rebellion

Remember this –

Someone brought this to my attention the other day –

I’ve already posted this in a comment –

This is demonic possession. It is time to stop fooling around and dancing around the things that have become so clear. It is bad enough to see grown men and women (of which I was one) do these things. We already know it has spread into the youth because of the long-standing and heretical Joel’s Army. But, oh, these are small children, still babies!

False doctrine breeds heresy.

Romans 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting.; 29 being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness, full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness, they are whisperers, 30 backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving unforgiving, unmerciful; 32 who, knowing the righteousness judgement of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same, but also approve of those who practice them.

Matthew 18:4 “Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

:6 Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

Have we lost a fear of God? I believe so. People who practice these things  no longer consider the truth in scripture. Even those who do not do these things, encourage those who do and make excuses for them, twisting the scriptures to say things they do not. They are just as blind as those who do, and in rebellion just the same.

This is madness.

Consider the second video in which these little children are laying hands on grown men who fall to the floor. In a previous conversation with another, I was given the following scriptures to support these goings on.

Please also take the time to read the surrounding scriptures to see the context. It is important to see the details.

Rev.1:17 And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. But He laid His right hand on me, saying to me, “Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last.”

This is an account of John who was a disciple of Jesus, exiled for his faith to the island of Patmos. John is receiving a vision of things to come  – aka the book of The Revelation of Jesus Christ.

Ezekiel 1:28 Like the appearance of a rainbow in a cloud on a rainy day, so was the appearance of the brightness all around it. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. So when I saw it, I fell on my face and I heard a voice of One speaking.

Let’s look at the next section, Chapter 2:1 And He said to me, Son of man, stand on your feet, and I will speak to you.

Daniel 8:17,18 So he came near where I stood and when he came I was afraid and fell on my face; but he said to me; “Understand, son of man, that the vision refers to the time of the end.” 18 Now as he was speaking with me, I was in a deep sleep with my face to the ground; but he touched me, and stood upright.

All of these men were taken into supernatural experiences for God’s purposes.  When they fell, it was out of fear. What happened? They were told to not fear. They were made to stand upright. These were not just experiences of visions or visitations, but were important meetings to establish words of scripture!

They were not children.

They were not women.

They were not aided by another human.

They were not anointed with manufactured oil.

No one laid hands on them.

No one blew thier stinky breath on them.

No one waved their arms or jumped up and down in front of them.

They were not in meetings, conferences or gatherings.

They had not been in extended ecstatic worship.

No one taught them these things in classrooms or organized training.

What was the direction in which they fell? Forward – on their faces.

These events were initiated by God, not men.

Let me stress one more time – grown men, not children, not children, not children.

Now, if you cannot see the difference between the happenings in the videos and the scriptures here by my writing and the points I have made, and you believe you are born again, then I urge you to repent for your blindness and your rebellion to God. The differences are like night and day.

An Escape From Bethel and the False Prophetic

Just received this as a comment. Please, if you are involved with Bethel, Crowder, any part of the charismatic/word of faith movement, the healing rooms or the prophetic, check these methods with the word of God. They may seem right, but they are occult at the core. I know this is so because I used to be a part of it all. Praise God for His saving grace!

I really wanted to share my story too as my church in the UK has become well & truly Bethelized, the transition into it has been a subtle & underhanded invasion, swapping of truth for error, what Im posting is about that journey of utter deception & how it gets in.

late 2009- Bill Johnson comes to my town in a big church wide event…. some time after that mtg (I didnt go to it because I really dont like big events) our senior pastor sat down with some leaders & discussed the audacity of bethel people visiting mind/body/spirit./psychic type fairs & setting up stalls that would offer to pray for healing & prophesy over people that would frequent such a place… 1st red flag no gospel preached/ & irresponsible – how on earth do people who are mostly drawn to occult practices discern & distinguish & make appropriate responses to that which is reportedly from a Holy God in that type of setting. ok I know god can reach anyone anywhere anyhow – but his “method” promotes spiritual confusion I believe in people who are dead to sin & lost to HIM.

May 2010: a group of leaders form our church & around the town visit Bethel… they return “odd’ different but not in a good way – immediately there is a lot of praying for individuals in the church by laying a hand on the forehead without the individual’s permission – these leaders just go up & “minister”- shouting & whooooaing in prayer times… also wafting hand movements during prayer times. my ” mentor’ who I love dearly & know very well now exhibits a subtle change in personality & has experienced a range of ill health ever since.
Red Flag 2: the language begins to change – we hear about impartation/intoxication of the spirit & relationship with father/ the work of Jesus on the cross becomes lessend as we focus on a culture of developing the prophetic/miracles & concentrate on being family

we see for the first time the practice of “fire tunnels”

rest of 2010…. we begin to immerse in Jesus culture music – begin preparing plans to launch our own healing rooms.. the “culture of honour” is widely talked about promoted from the senior leadership team.

Red flag 3: even though a culture of honour & doing everything from a place of loving relationship/family is promoted big time – various circumstances present themselves where honour should have been highly practiced – where in fact the opposite could be said

2011- senior leadership from Bethel visit the church. its obvious people form other places in the UK flock to hear the latest word.

healing rooms begins

Students from Bethel BSSM visit the town: we actively see for the first time prophetic art & the interpretation of it in our service time- soaking or what they would call “carpet time” is evident & other new phrases begin to pop into our language

* being whacked by God – get whacked – stay whacked – never go back
* get activated in the spirit/prophetic
* we want Jesus to get what he died for ( in relation to miracles)
* release & freedom become Big words
* Host the prescence
* More More & More

Red flag 3: senior leaders are imparting drunkeness to each other (& everyone else)- rolling around on floor – throwing love/bliss bombs at each other. & stating that they feel so drunk they are not sure how they could drive home. some of the behaviour they exhibit & allow would have been considered demonic & or worthy of discipline 20/25 years ago

present: *church decides to set up its own supernatural school of ministry
* other leaders visit to Bethel & other conferences around the uk & return using odd & confusing language – mostly pointing to the idea that Gods word was for then & the spirit or the flow (of the new wine) is for now
* we go totally overboard on the prophetic – with instruction form the senior leaders to develop, be ready & willing to give a prophetic word to literally anyone, anywhere, anytime.

Red flag 4: the occult creeps in: we now use Bethel’s offering readings ( look it up on their website) when we collect our tithes & offerings – this to me is nothing short of an incantation – a list of demands to get what WE want from God including “divine manifestations” & angelic visitations.
people are encouraged to place a cloth on their head during prayer at HR
& we are also offering people ” spiritual readings” this is where various prayers are written on cards & people are encouraged to randomly select one & have a leader pray over them for fulfillment in that area – just feels like home grown Tarot.

After all of this I have to say IM OUT – they will have my resignation by the end of the week !

I just felt I wanted to post all this so that others can see how this has happened chronologically like a drip drip drip effect of Blurrgh! which has sucked many in

As He Wills, A Testimony

This is a great testimony that a reader sent in as a comment.

I got saved in’ 78 on Valentines Day. What a love gift! But I immediately entered into the teachings of the Health and Wealth Gospel. After about 8 years of indoctrination and feeding on Kenyan, Hagin, Copeland, Capps, Hayes, Hickey, the Hunters, Savelle, Avanzene, Price and on and on to you know who -that would be Joyce of course- I had a good friend who had been just as steeped in the teaching who had moved away and who had begun to call me, dropping bombs in my spirit about it all being a lot of error. I would argue with her at first, but eventually the truth of it all began to chip away at what I had been taught.

Part of the chipping came while I was reading one of Watchman Nee’s books, “The Latent Power of the Soul. I remember reading “The Balanced Christian Life”, “The Spiritual Man”, “Sit, Walk, Stand”, “The Release of The Spirit”, “Christ:The Sum of All Things”, and” Spiritual Authority.” His books came highly recommended in Charismatic circles, but when I read “The Latent Power of The Soul” it did something to me. It startled me when Nee began to elaborate on the type of deceptive signs and wonders that would enter the Church in the last days. I, for one know I am saved; but unlike my Christian friends at the time, I always felt that I could be deceived if I was not careful. Like me they did not believe in “once saved, always saved,” but when I shared the thought that the deception coming would be so intense that if possible even we could be deceived with another of my best Christian friends at the time, she assured me I had nothing to worry about, that the Lord would never let me be so deceived. How could she be so sure? And she was positive! Even though I could not at the time explain it, something seemed suddenly very wrong. Shocked that she would think that way, I began to pull away from everyone and reevaluate what I was learning in the faith and wealth gospel. I remember deciding not to call any of my friends and just read and seek God about it all.

As I did, I was blown away that in James we are taught that it is the poor (and the context is not talking about “poor in spirit” but is obviously talking about poor with little finances) who are rich in faith. Certainly not the message of the Copelands! I also remember we were taught not to say “if it be they will” because that showed doubt and doubt and unbelief would hinder your prayers. We were taught to learn through the Word what the Will of God was and not pray “if it be thy will.”

Then I read in James 4, thank God, “13Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.” 14Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. 15Instead, you ought to say, “If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.” 16As it is, you boast and brag. All such boasting is evil. 17Anyone, then, who knows the good he ought to do and doesn’t do it, sins.”

Oh, my. What we were being taught was boasting and evil. I was flabbergasted. How in the world could we possibly know the Lord’s will 100% of the time. How arrogant! Then I remember being taught that we really did not want to be like Job, because Job had a lot of fear and doubt and because of that, what he feared came upon Him. We were led away from considering Job and his sufferings. It was a place we did not want to go. We were to be stronger and more steadfast in our faith than he was and so it was not a book we loved or studied.

Finally, I got real sick. I had been a Flight Attendant for 24 years when after years of lifting and such, over a period of a year, my back began to hurt to the point that finally I just had to give in and go out on LTD. With extra time on my hands, I flew to have Ernest Anley pray for me, as well as other “men of faith.” Believeing we were to “call those things that be not as though they were”, I also made a tape of healing scriptures and left a blank spot after each scripture so that’ as I listened to it I could “say it out loud” before the next scripture, in order to get them down in my spirit and to build myself up in my faith that I was healed etc. Daily, I would play the tape and confess the healing scriptures. I did everything I had been taught to do and more, but no dice! I could not get the Lord to heal me. Finally, while I was in bed for a month at the orders of my neursurgeon, I broke down, desperate for answers and in lots of pain, and opened my Bible to Job. As I read it, tears flowed and I could not believe how wonderful it was.

God’s wisdom far exceeded mine and always would. After all where was I when He decided where He would store the hail? Wow, He stores the hail somewhere. And where was I when He told the waves “this far and no more!” Who in the world did I think I was to be able to know His will and never have a doubt about it. But my freedom came when I heard Job say, “though you slay me I will serve you.” I had so much pain, I did not know how I could endure it for long, even though I knew there were others who lived with even more pain than I. But when I read that, I began to cry and asked the Lord to forgive me and told Him that “even though it felt like I was dying, it did not matter when or how or even if I never got healed and that Satan would not win, that I would serve The lord all the days of my life, no matter what happened! Then and only then could I relax and as I did over the next months, I got better and better.

Today, I am not totally healed, but that does not matter. I am able to function and I am productive and I minister to others and I am happy and I even thank Him today for my healing me. And on top of that, I believe a good part of getting better came when I did what God told Job to do. He told him to pray for his friends (many of his accusers) and when he did the tables changed for Job and the Lord says He “turned the captivity of Job when he prayed for his friends.” Then (secondarily) He says He then gave Job twice as much as he had before. What a pity that people are led away from this book for fear it will undermine their faith.

But back to the reason for my writing you. Back to that tiny little book, “The Latent Power of the Soul.” Interesting that someone who grew up in China and who most likely had seen many, many false miracles that originated in the soul of man (I think of the religions of India where so much soul power is used), would see ahead to the last days that we live in and be able to articulate the false signs and wonders that are in the Church right now while so many Christians are clueless that they are false. I just wonder how many Charismatics have read this book and have just skipped over the pages or torn them out so to speak, as they accuse the Baptist of doing when it comes to the scriptures on tongues. He describes the laughing revival and how false it is. He describes many things that will blow to smithereens the Modern day Faith Movement. But why can they not see it? I can only conclude that the teaching causes such arrogance that they truly think they cannot be deceived and so are just that=very deceived. And do not, do not, do not want to hear otherwise!

I do want to clarify that I do not agree with everything that Watchman Nee teaches in his books. My point is mainly that many Charismatic like his teachings and yet they do not hear what he said years ago about the end times concerning things like laughing uncontrollably on queue and singing lines of songs over and over and over until you are in an altered state, and preachers repeating sermons in a heightened emotional state with the assurance it will bring about certain reactions, etc.

My point is that some of what he teaches is accurate concerning the types of false signs and wonders of in the Church today, yet those that like His teachings ignore what he has to say about them in his book. There is enough truth in the “The Latent Power of the Soul” concerning signs and wonders in the last days that it should alarm the reader to the point that they would pray that the Lord keep them from falling for them. However, I do not believe many of his readers even think they could be the one’s to be deceived.

One day, the Lord will tell us exactly how all the false signs and wonders are performed and how to more accurately detect them. Until then, he has given us enough information to discern them. Surely, it is not exactly as Watchman Nee has said. However, it is certain that the power that God talks about is an abomination and that we need to shun this power that has to do with the mind, the soul, our emotions and demon spirits. I do not see a totally valid basis for Nee’s saying Adam had tremendous Soul power before the fall, but it does seem to be evident that there is some kind of power that is easily triggered through our minds with the help of demon spirits and that the Church will fall for it and operate in a lot of it in the end times.

Any way you look at it, many today are more interested in feeling something than trusting that God is with us. As I write, I remember as a child I did believe what I was taught in Catechism about the Holy Spirit. As a little girl we were expected to memorize and quote big words like the The Holy Spirit is “omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent.” Omnipresent means He is present with me. Once we are saved, and we know He now lives in us, why is that so hard for us to understand.

Why do we have to feel something to believe that He is with us? Why can’t we believe we can be healed without lying down on the floor with our pillows, while the lights are out and beautiful music is playing, while a facilitator is hovering over us or stroking us to comfort us that Jesus is here and Jesus wants to speak to us and Jesus wants to heal us? Why do we need to break out in laughter to be assured that we really have Joy. I am sort of offended at that premise. If the joy of the Lord is my strength, it is sad to think that I would have to break out in laughter to have that joy. It is sad that I have to go to those lengths to be strengthened. It is a shame that I cannot have it quietly, individually, moment by moment , as I meditate on His Word or I think about the wonderful things He has done for me and others. Laughter is a good medicine! But it is not the only way for me to have joy! And to be honest, I think that joy goes much deeper than laughter. Deep calls unto deep! My strength is anchored in something much deeper than laughter. My joy is anchored in something much deeper than laughter.

Now that I am saved, the deepest place in me cries out to the deepest place in God for what I lack, for what I need, for what I want to understand and when they touch, “my deep and His deep,” I experience in my spirit the Giver of Life, the Healer, the Comforter, the Lover of My Soul. And alone in those moments I am strengthened and I receive the answers or revelations that “He decides” to give, “as He will”. We need facilitators to bring me to this place? I believe if we truly love God and are seeking Him we will come to this on our own by His Spirit. Do we really need facilitators to bring us to this place or are they operating in a different spirit to make it happen. I believe whenever the Holy Spirit does something, it is wrong for us to try to duplicate it. It no longer is “as He wills”, but rather we have introduced something else into the equation to reproduce the experience and it becomes mixed. If it is mixed it is no longer purely the Holy Spirit’s doing but rather it is now the flesh, the soul, a work of man rather than God. A false sign. A false method. And if we continue to move in that method we get farther and farther away from the Spirit of God, while the devil cloaks the method in deception and feelings and emotions and the ignorant believe it is truly the Holy Spirit while the facilitators revel in the results. And the truth is the results are not what the Lord willed, but rather a result of a fleshly method and manipulation.

Gee, I know the Political Liberal’s new name for themselves is Progressives and apparently they cringe at the older folks who stand in the way of their new progressive thought. I suspect these facilitators, like the soaking and contemplative ones, must be the new Christian Progressives who cringe at people like me who won’t buy into their new thought. I believe in signs and wonders, but as the Lord wills! The truth is they are false teachers tickling the ears of many who HEAP them to themselves!

My sister is a New Ager. She is an Ordained Minister in the New Age. She started out going up to the Edgar Casey Foundation For over 30 years ago and that led to getting involved with EST training, teaching a “Course In Miracles,”, walking on coals, reading Tara Cards, charting Astrology Charts for engaged couples and on and on it goes. I have known in my heart that the New Age would be at the heart of the Great Falling Away. I talked to my sister tonight. And just like those in the Faith Movement and all that it has evolved into today, she is as hard a case to crack. It is apparent to me that they all could fall for the same false signs and wonders in the end. Who would have thought.

We cannot say we have not been warned.

Thanks to Bud for putting this together.

CHRISTIANS BEWARE! Todd Bentley in Seattle

by Bud Press, Director
Christian Research Service

Currently, Todd Bentley and Jason Hooper are conducting a tour in Yakima and Seattle, Washington. We need to pray that God will be merciful to the innocent and unwary who attend, and open their eyes to the real Jesus Christ.

While the tour will consist of the usual bill-of-fare of firey thrills, burning chills, and electrically-induced excitemement, those who attend will not see Bible-based healings or miracles, nor will God show up and bless the tour. God hasn’t changed. He is still against false prophets (Jeremiah chapter 23; Matthew chapter 7; Matthew chapter 24).

However, despite God’s warnings, those who plan to attend may fulfill their dream of seeing Todd Bentley in person, and be mezmerized by of one of the world’s most prolific false teachers.

Todd Bentley is of the same caliber that the Apostle Paul wrote about in Galatians 2:4-5:

But it was because of the false brethren secretly brought in, who had sneaked in to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, in order to bring us into bondage. But we did not yield in subjection to them for even an hour, so that the truth of the gospel would remain with you.

As Todd Bentley works diligently to recapture what he “lost” in 2008, Christians need to sound an alarm–an alarm that shouts, CHRISTIANS BEWARE! But be mindful of at least one thing: One cannot lose what one doesn’t have in the first place.

Todd Bentley is a false prophet, false teacher, false healer, and false brethren. The sooner his followers realize that, the better off they will be.

The Prophetic Movement is a vile, stench-filled organism that changes and mutates day by day. It is filled with cultic, heretical, and blasphemous teachings that contaminates, conditions, and manipulates the minds and hearts of its followers into believing lie after lie after lie.

Turn away from the Prophetic Movement and its false “Jesus”. Repent and place your complete trust in the Jesus of the Bible:

Do People Choose to Be Blind?

I’ve been staying away from Todd Bentley. He is a proven heretic and I see no need, much less a desire, to track his every move, every word. We all know him for what he is. What surprises me is the support and following he continues to build and maintain. Do his followers look at him? Do they listen to him? He is not easy to look at by his own design of FOOLERY of the tattoos and shaved head. He dresses like a vampire and don’t let that  silver cross shining out of the blackness of his shirt trick you into believing he is a man of God! His look is designed to make us think he is something other than what he is-someone saved out of a sinful life of bikers, booze and drugs. Ha!  He falls over his own words which are lies upon lies, and clearly, Todd does not have a gift for speaking, teaching or leading!

So I have to ask – Do people choose to be blind?

I found this little jewel over on DiscerningtheWorld.com which will quickly show how far this man Todd Bentley has fallen and those along with him. They do not see the truth, they see some form of power, of supernatural experience which is exactly the push Todd is getting at here. Todd’s own words in this short video clip will show you without a doubt how completely out of control and dangerous Morningstar has gone.  Rick Joyner claims Todd has been “restored”. We must ask, restored to what exactly because whatever has happened to this man is not biblical restoration! And if anyone thinks I am being mean to poor Todd then consider those he and Rick Joyner are misleading every day! What of them? Who will save them?

As we have watched we have witnessed a coming together of various false “ministries” who present another gospel and another jesus, and another “spirit” and these things are not new!  I believe along with that is coming, or has already come, a greater source of power and strength. As the video states, Satan masquerades as an angel of light. He is not a fool and not a wimp. There is some power to his punch. How else will could he fool so many?

Todd Bentley – Enough About Jesus:

A very interesting point of view from Ian over on his blog that bears repeating:

The times of the Gentiles has been fulfilled

By ian vincent

And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. Luke 21:24

Jerusalem was sacked and the Jews dispersed in the 1st Century, fulfilling Jesus words here. While the Jews were in exile the Gentiles did indeed control Jerusalem, again, fulfilling the Word of the LORD.

Crucially, Jesus is saying that the end of Gentile dominance over the city of Jerusalem (bcos the Jews return from exile and regain control) marks the final chapter or phase of history before Jesus returns to earth.

The sign: when the Gentiles lose control of Jerusalem then their time is up. They will never tread down Jerusalem again, their time is over. That time is now. We are facing the most tumultuous period the world will ever face, bcos the Gentiles still think THEY own Jerusalem and want it back. They don’t know that their time is up, the times of the Gentiles has been fulfilled.

2 Thessalonians 2:1-12

1 Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, 2 not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. 3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.
5 Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things? 6 And now you know what is restraining, that he may be revealed in his own time. 7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. 8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. 9 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, 12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Psalm 46:10

10 Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth!

We need to be careful of who we put up on a pedestal, of who we listen to and follow, of who we believe holds the truth. This world is changing by the moment and many things are lining up. We don’t know how much time we have left before the return of the Lord. We don’t know with any certainly the condition our lives here on earth. So let’s take the time to be certain that our teachers are strictly biblical and that if we claim Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior that we follow the leading of His Spirit, the one and only Holy Spirit and not that of another. Let us be reminded of Luke 21:36 Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all things that will come to pass and to stand before the Son of Man. And let’s continue to pray for those caught up in the delusion that they may see the truth.

Roger Oakland – Another Jesus

2 Corinthians 11:3-4   But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. 4 For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted-you may well put up with it!

We know there is “another Jesus” embraced throughout Charismania. Here we find still another Jesus in Catholicism. Both deceptive movements are experience-based, both having false signs and wonders to deceive, both designed to take its followers far from the truth in Christ. I’ve learned quite a bit tonight watching this teaching. I hope and pray you do as well.

Not Everything That Jesus Did Was Written Down

“Not everything that Jesus did was written down.”

This is a very true statement based on the following scriptures:

John 12:16 His disciples did not understand these things at first; but when Jesus was glorified, then they remembered that these things were written about him and that they had done these things to Him.

John 20:29-31

29 Jesus said to him, “Thomas, because you have seen Me you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”

30 And truly Jesus did many other signs in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book; 31 but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.

John 21:24-25

24 This is the disciple who testifies of these things, and wrote these things; and we know that his testimony is true.

25And there are also many other things that Jesus did, which if they were written one by one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that would be written. Amen

“Not everything that Jesus did was written down.”

Not everything needed to be. We have confirmation in the word of the miracles, signs and wonders done by Jesus so that those watching would believe He is God incarnate. And like those eye-witnesses we behold the same truth in reading of the things that were written of Him.

The very idea that because not all things were written down we are safe to accept amazing signs and wonders as acts of the Holy Spirit is a lie. You know I am speaking of the bizarre – gemstones, falling gold dust, feathers, oil on the hands or leaking from the palms, water turned to wine, angelic footprints, the appearance of gold teeth or gold fillings, manifestations in the body, angelic visitations, etc. These are false signs and wonders and if you believe them to be truly of God you are one in the group of the “elect” that has been deceived.

Like the words spoken to Thomas, be wary  – – -blessed are those who believe and have not seen.

Need a reality check? Ask any one who works in heating and air conditioning systems what is found in the ducting. Want to know? Dead bird carcasses. So your precious sign and wonder when listening to Bill Johnson preach is not a sign and wonder from God. It is not as he tells it “the laughter of the Holy Spirit” as told to him by a demon crazed man. The wondrous feather is from death. Is that your god?

Blowing the Kazoo on Bethel

A reader sent these links to articles on Bethel (Bill Johnson) as a comment and I thought it  worthy  the attention of an article. (Thanks Houghton!)

Read on:

Looks like the local Redding newspaper has finally caught on to Bethel — Johnson has been able to fly under the radar really until now, and he’s been able to recruit a massive following in nondenominational house churches across the entire nation.

Check out this series of articles — looks like more of the old signs and wonders, Word of Faith stuff rebranded and repackaged to me:

And here’s an interesting story showing how Bethel members’ gullibility, lack of common sense and lack of discernment led to their being bilked:

Talk about being open to “a new thing.”

Anyone who doesn’t know, Johnson’s teachings are right out of the word of faith heresies, he is a pal with Cal Pierce, International Association of Healing rooms and so teaches the same.  He is also one of the chief instigators in the comeback of Todd Bentley.

another false move meeting

If this doesn’t make people wake up and see what Bill Johnson is really about, I wonder what it WILL take.

Together at IHOP (Mike Bickle) with John Arnott from the famed Toronto Blessing –

Remember Lakeland?? Think it’s over? Not a chance.

Neither event experienced a true move of God and certainly not the Holy Spirit!

Bill Johnson and John Arnott at IHOP–KC, December 7–9

Bill Johnson and John Arnott will join Wes Hall and Allen Hood for our awakening meetings next Monday to Wednesday (December 7–9).

In light of the spiritual awakening at IHOP–KC, we invited Bill and Beni Johnson and John and Carol Arnott to be with us. Because of their extensive experience in stewarding the move of the Spirit we have asked for their input, counsel, and wisdom. Bill and Beni Johnson are senior pastors of Bethel Church in Redding, California. John and Carol Arnott are the founding pastors of Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship, which experienced a historic outpouring of the Holy Spirit that began in 1994, known as the Toronto Blessing.

They will join Wes Hall and Allen Hood in leading the nightly meetings which will began at 6:00pm. We will have additional meetings on Tuesday and Wednesday at 9:00am.
